Julio-Claudian government vs. American government

Hey guys ! I posted this on DtE , but it literally got NO feedback . So I just wanted to post it here and see if you all could help me a bit more . 

I'm writing a Lit paper about the similarities/differences between the Julio-Claudian gov. vs. the American gov. 

Please respond PRONTO . Writing this paper today and I need some helpful ideas about if I should contrast or compare , or go for the approach of 'their government was more effective' and so on .

Vida, I venture to say that your teacher expects you to do research on this at a library, not just ask others for the info.
