24 hours of comics?!
Has anyone ever heard of 24 hour comic day? You have 24 hours to create a 24 page comic. The idea was created by Scott McCloud. It sounds awesome and horrible! This year it's on October 5th, which is the first Saturday in October. You have twenty four nonstop hours to write a 24 page comic, and you can't plan the plot or prepare before hand, though you can assemble supplies. The twenty-four hours start when your pen touches the paper. I really want to try it, but I think the lack of sleep would kill me!
Has anyone participated or heard of this before?

I've actually done it before, but I haven't ever completed my comic because I am a being that requires sleep. I'm trying again this year.

It sounds interesting. I could probably do it, since most nights I'm up till 4 in the morning anyway. Though, I haven't and probably won't since a) I'm just too busy. I need that time to study, b) I'm a terrible artist, c) I don't know how to draw a comic strip, and d) my mom would kill me for "wasting" a whole day like that. I don't know, I'll think on it.
