I like most composers that I've heard but some of my favorites are Mozart and Dvorak. I also am playing a flute piece by Gabriel Faure, and I hadn't heard of him before I started it, but I like it a lot.

I forgot Tchaikovsky!! He's another one of my favorites.

I'm a classical-music person, but... David Downes (look him up), while not exactly classical, has to be one of my favorites because of his skill with melodies, descants, and countermelodies. I also like Joachim Quantz, who is an obscure Baroque composer. He started out as a flutist - so he wrote great flute music!

for me I don't really like classical music much but I just SUPREMELY LOVE R&B.
