Lucky~
The whole rest of the day seemed to drag on since I was just waiting to fall asleep. I felt like I was doing homework for hours before Grampa finally told me it was time to go to bed. As I snuggled up on the couch in our tiny apartment, I wished to fall asleep fast, since it was already quarter of ten.
My wish must have come true, because what seemed like only seconds occurred between when I put on a Civil Wars CD and when I found Sabrina waiting for me in front of Cinderella Castle. I blinked a few times to make sure it was real before I say up.
"Great, right on time," Sabrina remarked. She walked over to meet me as I stood up and dusted off my flannel pajama pants. "Ready?" she asked. I nodded, still a little dazed from the fact this actually worked. Half of me was still convinced this was a dream when I made the plans to do this at lunch. But now, seeing Sabrina after making plans to meet her, that half of me went away. For some unexplainable reason, I was waking up in Disney World.
Sabrina and I were running through Town Square to get to the Fire Station. There's something about an empty theme park that's unnerving, and I'm sure Sabrina was feeling it, too. That's why I was running, to get away from that feeling. Finally, we were standing in front of the Fire Station. I inhaled sharply when I saw the light in the window go out completely for a fraction of a second as something passed in front of it. This was it. We were getting answers.

Sabrina ~
We stood in front of the Fire Station, a shadow passing in front of the light momentarily. Before I could change my mind, I marched up to the door, and knocked hard. Lucky stood beside me. All was quiet, and I realized neither of us were breathing. Suddenly the door swung open, and an older man with white hair stood before us. I'd been anticipating this moment, but now that it was here, I was at a loss for words. But the old man seemed to know who we were and why we were here. He stepped outside, and, despite the late hour, was fully dressed.
"I was wondering when pay me a visit. I've been watching you for some time," he said. He led the way down the steps, expecting us to follow. I glanced at Lucky, and the two of us trot after him.
"I am Wayne, and you are Sabrina Tiller and Lucky Hutcherson, I presume."
We nodded.
"And I'm sure your wondering why you're here."

This is short, I know, but I'm really not that good with this stuff since I don't know as much about Disney or the Kingdom Keepers (it's been awhile since I read the first. I'll reread it soon). Btw, how do you know so much about Disney? I'd love to find out more!

I started with the Disney Parks Blog and D23, which is Disney's official place for their fans. Dave Smith's column on the D23 website mentioned something about Yesterland one week, which led me to Yesterland and Walt Dated World (there's a link there from Yesterland), two of my favorite Disney fan sites. The cool thing about Disney fan sites is they all link to each other, so I found most of the Disney fan sites I go on (The Neverland Files being another favorite) from surfing other Disney fan sites. The only one I didn't find by doing that is my favorite Haunted Mansion blog (Yeah, there's more than one) Long Forgotten Haunted Mansion. I came across that in a Google search for Museum of the Weird. Long Forgotten is one of the only sites I've found with extensive information on Museum of the Weird. I don't really go on Disney Parks Blog or D23 because they only really focus on announcing new stuff and I really like older stuff from Disney better. I liked them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter so I get announcements that way.
So basically, lots of Disney fan sites. I'd start with the official ones (The Parks Blog and D23) because they're a good introduction and not as hard core as the fan sites. Then, I'd transition into Yesterland, Walt Dated World, and the Neverland Files. If you're interested in the Haunted Mansion, my favorites are Doom Buggies for an overview and Long Forgotten for in-depth stuff. Lost Epcot's pretty good, too if you're interested in Epcot.
Also, my whole obsession started when my aunt gave me her old Disney World guidebook. I still read guidebooks regularly for more information. My favorite brand is Ultimate Walt Disney World with Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World coming in a close second. The official one is Birnbaum's if you were wondering.
Sorry, that was a lot. I've just never gotten the question before and so I got really excited. I'll be back tomorrow to continue from Lucky's POV.

Ha! I don't blame you! I'm checking out the sights you said, and that's some neat stuff! I look forward to reading more, and I'll have to find those Disney guides too. Thanks for all the info!

I'll check for you. I think I named my newest fanfic The Ant or something like that. It's not my best, but I wanted to get something in there. I don't think it's up yet, but I think it will be when you're internet's back up. My next in character post on this thread will go up tomorrow.

Ok, here it is... What? I'm not a day late, hahahaha... OK, I am, sorry:
Lucky~
"And
I'm sure you're wondering why you're here," the man, Wayne said.
Before we could reply, something crashed behind us. I turned around to
see Captain Jack Sparrow bending down to pick his sword up. "'Ello,
lovelies," he slurred, swaying slightly.
"Do you see him?" I asked.
"Yup," Sabrina said.
"Who?" Wayne asked. Sabrina and I exchanged a glance. There was obviously a drunk pirate swaggering around behind us.
"Jack Sparrow," Sabrina replied.
"That's
good!" he said, "Where is he?!" We moved so he could get a better
glimpse. He still seemed like he couldn't see him. "Ah, just as I
thought. This is great! Come in, come in, let's discuss this," Wayne
said.
Jack screamed, "I've got a jar of dirt!" and ran away.
Sabrina
and I followed Wayne into the firehouse. After all, it's Disney.
What's the worst that could happen? [note: I do know the layout of the
apartment in Disneyland, but I'm going to make up a WDW layout here for
the purpose of the story]
"Would you like some tea?" he
asked as we passed through the kitchen. Both of us shook our heads no
and followed him into the adjoining living room. "Here, sit."
Sabrina and I shared the couch while he took an overstuffed armchair in the corner. "Alright, so...the two of you have been waking up in Disney World every night since you became a DGI, correct?" Wayne asked. We nodded. "Have you noticed anything odd about yourselves."
"We have a faint blue outline," Sabrina replied.
"Almost like we're glowing," I added.
"Exactly. You are in a form that is almost like a mix of hologram and solid."
I frowned. It's pretty hard to believe that we just woke up half-hologram.
"It's hard to believe, but just bear with me. Because you are half in your hologram form, you are in the same world as the characters and as us humans at the same time. Like with Captain Sparrow back there. You girls could see him and I couldn't."
"But the characters don't exist! They're drawings or actors!" I protested.
"If you believe in anything enough, they become real. Unfortunately, that means the villains are also real. They're forming an evil society we call the Overtakers, because they want to take over Disney World. Maybe even the real world someday, if they get powerful enough. That's why you're here. If you're also in their world, you can work to stop them."
It was still so unbelieveable to me. Then a brick came flying through the window. I could see another pirate, not Jack, outside before he ran away. Then, shards sliced across my arm. I cried out. "Are you bleeding?" Wayne asked. I nodded, biting back tears.
Sabrina turned white and pointed at the brick. It read "STAY AWAY- THE OTS" in eerie green writing.
"Well, I better return you," Wayne said, pulling out a black fob that looked like a garage opener.
"Lucky, you're not glowing as much!" Sabrina yelled as Wayne pressed the button.
I woke up on the couch. My arm was bleeding in the same exact spot it had been in Disney. I got up to bandage it. I still couldn't believe what Wayne had said. I don't know what I had been expecting. I thought something crazy was going on, but not that crazy. Although, my arm was bleeding.
I wasn't convinced everything was real until I saw the news the next morning. There was a story about how the apartment above the fire station had been broken into. I almost spit out my cereal when they showed the security footage. It showed a brick flying through a window with nothing propelling it. And in the corner of the screen was a slight blue glowing hand.
