Drawing Thread

I think it's time there was a new drawing thread! There was one a while ago, maybe a few months, but it failed to exist after awhile.

This is a picture that I started drawing a long time ago, but didn't finish until this morning. I also promised JDD I would post it on here, I believe.

Also, for those of you who don't know/remeber how to post drawings, you put the drawings on the web somewhere (like photobucket or wordpress or something) highlight the picture, copy, and past it into your post.

Wow I just looked through all the pictures. I wish I had talent for drawing. Well I guess I will stick to writing.

I use Tumblr because Tumblr.

Mackinaw Bridge as painted by moi. Look at the pretty sunset. That treeline took forever. And my phone's camera doesn't work very well.

So I'm in directing right now and it's killing me.

Obviously I had to draw all weekend instead of doing homework/preparing for fourth week. Time management skills, I have them.

*cue massive margin-breaking pictures*

This is my first attempt at nailing down what my!Vivienne (you know, the one from Legally Blonde) looks like. In my head she's sort of half Kate Shindle and half Barbara Walsh. And not this pale, obv, but I was being ~*artsy*~

As if I could ever go on a drawing spree and *not* inclued Hatter. Pshaw. (also sketchbook pro's digital paint is unbelievably fun to just smear around. for reals)

*Can't even comment because of the utter amazingicleness of both L and TNÖ's drawings*

So. It's the first page of Outcasts of Space. Maybe.

If you can't tell what they're saying, here's a little script. Hopefully you can see the illustrations. It'll probably get cut off though.
Olive: Can't the ship go any faster?
Sapphire (Who then decides to twist his arm around awkwardly): The controls are stuck on this speed!
Cazi: We have to get away from them.... WE HAVE TO!!!
My dad said it was a lot like a Mark Trail comic. Which it is. Just with spaceships. The ship that's pursueing them looks like a ketcup bottle, if my design plans are approved by future me.

Whoa, these are all so good! I can't really draw from my imagination, but I like to copy things with lines, but not sketches or paint. Things like the acorn mailbox in the Letterbox of Cricket. I drew that on a box that I keep my letters. Cricket, Muffin, and Ladybug are there, too.

SO I HAVE TWO HATTERS NOW

this is the FABULOUS Hatter of Then She Fell, which is an immersive theatre piece based on Alice in Wonderland and which takes place in an abandoned hospital, played by the EQUALLY FABULOUS Elizabeth Carena

seriously she was so awesome

everything about Then She Fell was amazing but ESPECIALLY HER

and then I spent the eleven days between then and now wishing SO BADLY I had either my tablet or actual PAPER to draw her, so this is all I've done since I got back to Cornell this afternoon.

Wow you guys are amazing drawers! So creative! Love it! <3

Here's my question: Do we have to post it on somewhere else on the web before we post it on here? Can't we just scan it to our computer, put it on a Word document, and copy and paste? This website is the only one in which I trust in order to put pictures I draw on here.

If you try going directly from a file or even a Word doc to the CB, you'll end up with either gobbledygook or just a blank space. To get them to show up, you have to put it up on something like imgur (which is what I use) or similar, go to the direct link to the image, and then click-and-drag the image from that window into the CB's text box.

I believe other people have had success with pulling from deviantart as well?

If you don't want your images to be viewable by anyone but the CB, I'd recommend postimage, which doesn't allow for public access to uploaded images (it's designed for use in conjunction with forums) and which you can use anonymously without an account.

Here's my picture, if it shows up:

This took a long time. Made it last year. I'm very proud I actually drew a cat detailed for once :3

Sorry, Moss, no picture is showing.

Second attempt:

I don't know why it didn't show up, I can see it here as I'm posting. I highlighted it, copied and pasted. Weird.

Still not showing up. Sorry.
