Okay, I'm talking
Okay, I'm talking about a show I don't even know if many have still heard of. I'm talking about Road to Avonlea! A very sweet series! It's based on several L.M.Montgomery books, like The Story Girl, The Golden Road, Chronicles of Avonlea, Further Chronicles of Avonlea, and a couple of later Anne books, like Anne of Windy Poplar. I simply LOVE this show! Very funny! And it's got a lot of original cast from the Anne of Green Gables movies, except most playing different characters. Has anybody else seen this show?

@ Ivy; I love Anne of Green Gables too! My all time FAVORITE book! And movie! If you like this series, there's this really funny two part episode called; When She Was Bad, She Was Horrid! Sarah gets aggravated with Hetty, and switches places with an orphan street girl named Jo Pitts, who looks exactly like Sarah (both played by Sarah Polly). It's hysterical, yet, has mystery. Try to find it!

I've never watched that show. However, when I was little, one of my favorite shows was the animated Anne of Green Gables show on PBS

I love the animated Anne of Green Gables! I was so sad when they stopped airing it! That and the animated Redwall. My Sunday morning shows! Have you all seen the Anne of Green Gables movie with Megan Follows? My MOST FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Megan Follows just for playing Anne is my favorite actress!

No, I've never actually seen it. I want to, though.

You should! Megan Follows just is Anne Shirley, if you know what I mean! NO ONE else could have played her! I went to Prince Edward Island just for Anne of Green Gables! I saw Avonlea Village, and saw the real Green Gables! Plus, I stood where L.M.Montgomery's house used to be, and saw the same view she saw when she wrote Anne, Kilmeny of the Orchard, Emily of New Moon, and so many others! I was in absolute seventh heaven! I also saw her grave. It may seem morbid, but I got to pay my respects to my all time favorite author. So it meant a lot to me personally. But anyway, just for curiosity, has anyone else been to Prince Edward Island, or even Nova Scotia or New Brunswick?
Cappie say roth. Sounds like something from Star Wars, which, Cappie, is COMPLETELY unrelated...

Okay, for anyone who has seen Road to Avonlea, I want to know.
*Spoiler*
Who agrees that the saddest episode is where poor Cecily gets sick? I had tears pouring down my face when I saw it! AND they have to go and replace the actress who first played Cecily later! When she gets well, it's a different actress! SO MAD! They thought the other Cecily "couldn't act"! PLEASE! I'm so sad! I love Cecily! Write if you love Cecily King!

*spoiler again* I just watched the episode where Cecily returns and it is SO not Cecily! Different actress, and is almost like a complete different character! So sad! Also, somebody who played a very minor role in that episode played a huge character in a si-fi series I used to watch. Two completely different roles.

I haven't seen Road to Avonlea, but I love the Anne books and the movies. Everyone in the movies was really spot-on; especially Anne and Marilla.
Spam Box says bzzy. Sounds like a combination of sleepy and busy.
