CLASSICAL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!
CLASSICAL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anybody else really like classical music? If so, who's your favorite composer? I like Mozart, Seitz, and a bunch of other ones. I also play the violin and I'm in Suziki book 5.

I don't really play any insturments, but if I'm not feeling so great then I listen to classical. It's actually really soothing!!! For all you girls who are feeling down (at this age) I strongly recommend classical music.

I like Classical Music a lot. My favorite composers are Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Prokofeiv, Mozart, Rachmaninov, Beethoven, and some other ones as well. I play the piano.

I like classical music too. I listen to almost anything-basically what my parents give me. I play piano, but I haven't taken lessons in like three years because we moved and I forgot how to play/read music with my left hand (which is kinda embarassing ^.^) I also LOVE Phantom of the Opera. I don't really think of it as a musical or an opera but a blend of the two. I haven't seen it on stage but the new movie was REALLY good.

I like classical music, too!! I play piano and am in Suzuki book 5, also. Does the violin book have Fur Elise? That is my favorite one to play from that book. Have you ever played along with a piano? My piano teacher got me the Suzuki Violin Accompianment Book for piano. I only have the first book, though. It's really fun to play with my teacher, because she's learning violin.

The violin book doesn't have Fur Elise, but I wish it did! I have a friend who plays the piano, so last year we played some songs out of the third Suzuki book together.

P.S. It's good for your brain.

John Phillip Sousa is the best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is one of the things I disagree with you on, Simon. Sousa marches are OK but he steals from himself a LOT. Personally, I like Mozart and Bach and all those cliche type composers. Laugh at me if you like. :]

Julia,
I LOVE CLASSICAL MUSIC!!!!!:):) My brother, sister, and I have been playing the piano since we were 8, and we all just love it! I really like Mozart, Debussy, Pachelbel, Beethoven, and many others. Three of my favorite piano songs are Cannon in D, Claire De Lune, and Sonatina 1. I play them all the time.:) What are some of your favorites?
(August 19, 2008 - 7:57 pm)
Some of my favorites that I am playing right now would have to be Concerto for Two Violins by Bach and Concerto No. 5 by Seitz. My favorite song that I'm not playing is probably Marche Slave by Tchaikovsky. That one is really good!

Julia,
Cool! I don't think I've heard those songs before, (we have a lot of classical music CDs, and I don't always know who the songs are by), but Bach and Tchaikovsky are two of my favorite piano composers. I forgot to put them down on my last post.:) I just read that you are homeschooled. I am too!:) YAY!!!!:)
