Thank you! I taught myself to draw dragons out of a Wings of Fire book, actually. :D I stink at people, though. Every time I see one of your portraits I am in awe. Do you have any tips I could use?

Tips, you say? *rubs hands together*
First and foremost, look. Look at both others' drawings and at life. Secondly, draw people. They don't have to be good, but you'll get better through a combination of practice and observation. Books sometimes help, too. If you want to use those, I recommend how-to-draw-manga books because the style is pretty, common and a little more simplified, and realistic and anatomy drawing books because it's easier to draw and stylize things if you know how they work. Apart from that, I have no clue because people are weird and complicated and I don't know what exactly you have trouble with. If you have any specific questions, ask and I can answer those. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I usually have a hard time with faces, particularly the eyes and noses. I'm working on a practice drawing of one of my characters; I'll show it to you when I finish.

More art of Bird. Here I was more trying to get an idea if her and not actually do a portrait. You can ignore the doodles in the bottom left corner. They're not relevant.

Ooooh, I like how you have her walking in the woods! I also really like the one with the quill and ink, especially her boots. I know you said the bottom left corner isn't relevant, but the body closest to the middle while still being on the left (the one without the head) looks super cool! I really like the clothes.
