It's beautiful! Looks sort of Chinese...

Huh. Ya, I guess. Never really thought about it. It's largely based off of the armor I my charrie Snapdragon uses when I play Dungeuns and Dragons. Except her sword is magical, does +1 damage when it hits and a giant shield that in total gives her an AC level of 2.

You play D&D, too? :D
I haven't gotten the chance in a while, and it sounds like we play different editions, but I love it.

I play the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. What about you? Do you have a character you usually play?
(February 10, 2018 - 1:02 am)
I don't remember which edition it is, but we had Constitution, if that helps. I've only played one and a bit games, one all the way through an with a Lillinx ninja character, and one beginning of a game some months ago with a dwarf. I don't expect to ever finish the latter adventure.

Cool! My friends and I recently started a game, where we are investigating a supposedly haunted house that an alchemist lived in. The boys and the girls split off to explore. The girls found some magic armor, a tiny chest containing something (we don't know whats inside, but we found it behind a chimmney) and rescued a person who had been tied up in a room. The two of the three boys got bitten by some spiders when attempting to get a glass crystal that so far has no pourpose while the mage and the thief were curled up in a all moaning from spider poison, the fighter tried opening a locked door with his war axe. He kept missing the lock and hit the wood around it, until the girls came by and our cleric found a key on a window sill.

Oh, wow! That sounds fun. *sighs* I miss playing.

I can't even play because my stepmother somehow connected DnD to Satanic ritual

*gapes* *laughs* *shakes head* Huh. Wow. Let's see. The NPCs your characters are fighting could hypothetically conduct one. Gamers traditionally have a reputation for being too much in their fictional worlds. But that still doesn't happen. Unless it does, I don't know, but I don't think so. Certainly my experience has been very far removed from anything of the sort.

That is s surprisingly common myth. It stems from a few factors, onebeing that there is a type of monters call demons. They aren't actually fallen angels though. There was also some, ah, graphic pictures in the very early books, which helped contribute to the idea that it was a depraved game. Warlocks are a class who get their magic power from demons. Teiflings are a race who's ancestors made pacts with demons. Your character can be chaotic evil, which is pretty much what it sounds like. The thing is, this is really easy to avoid. In the group I'm in now, our characters have to be good, and can't be teiflings or warlocks. All you really need is a like minded DM and players. My group is made up of the nerds from my parish, so none of us have any interest in that sort of thing.

Cool! That makes a lot of sense.

Oh, the other thing is that D&D does have its own set of gods you can have your character worship. For most characters you don't have to, but a few like clerics do need a deity.

I did some pencil drawings of some Kyngdom characters--here's Arra.

Aaaaah! It's Scarlet! It's so good! I love it! Thanks, Hazel!
(Also, none of them are sideways, actually!)
