I just saw a golden flicker! The bird, it's a bird that looks like a woodpecker, a sort of tan with tons of little black spots, and a big black patch at the throat, another patch of red on the back of the head, and yellow on the underside of the wings and tail. They're really, really pretty. And I saw one! Or, not just one. There were, like, five. Agh, now I want to draw a golden flicker!

I like the detail of the little plushie, and again, her wings. Hmm... Baby birds don't always have feathers, certainly not flight feathers... Do you think newborns have bald wings?
