The news hits
The news hits me like a bucket of cold water. My uncle? He must have been lying. The strange wolf takes his paw off my mouth. I struggle and try to run, but he holds me back. "Who are you!?!" I scream angrily. "Let me go!!" He chuckles. "I'll let you go if you promise not to run." He says calmly. "I won't run! Promise!" I lie. He releases me. I take off. I've never run faster in my life. Next thing I know, he pushes me to the ground. "Ugh!!" I struggle some more. Then he picks me up by the scruff of my neck and carries me off. He's strong, evidently because I'm not exactly a pup anymore and he has been carrieing me for a long time now. He drops me in a cart, small, but big enough to hold me. Then I see a strangely familiar looking cat, though I can't place where I've seen her before, walk out of the woods and harness the wolf. He then pulls the cart, the cat jumps on board with me, and I have no idea what's going on. "Greetings, Moonshadow." The cat says. It must remember me from wherever I remember it. Then I remember. The cat jumping into the pink carrier, jumping out of the helicopter, running off and leaving me injured in the woods. "Orién" I say, my teeth clenched. "you're probably curious about everything that's been happening. I'll clear you up on it. I used to work for BIG. I was professor Hornshaw's cat. They sent me to find you. I'm the one who nailed the paper to your door. They took your friend Rain to bait you. But I was tired of working for them, so after I came to find you, I never went back. That time by the creek, I shot you And I captured you, and took you to BIG. But when Bob and Gog released you, they didn't know that they weren't supposed to. They got you mixed up with a different experiment thanks to me. I met your Uncle some days before that. He had been looking everywhere for you after he heard of you parents' death. I left you food and water everyday, and put a laser fence around you to keep you from running off. Your uncle didn't want me to, I learned soon after. When you finally got away, your uncle ran after you, he's taking you to his home now." She says. "Well, um," I didn't know what to say. "Why am I in a cart?" I say. "You're uncle didn't want to carry you the whole way there, but he didn't want to chase you down either." I jump out of the cart. "Show me the way" I say to my uncle.
