When I wake up, the first thing I hear is footsteps. I get up and run, forgetting my burned side. I run with all my strength, pumping my legs, urging my body to go faster. I'm sure that whatever captured me at the creek, took me to BIG, kept me in the laser cage, and is following me now, is the same person. Or animal. But I notice the footsteps sound heavier now, and that before, I could barely hear the thing coming. Then, a white figure leaps from the bushes, and pins me to the ground. It slams a paw over my mouth to keep me from yelping. Then it speaks. "Moonshadow! It's me! Your Uncle."
