Welcome to B.I.G.!
(I'm not an Admin-created character, BTW. It's Rose bud. Hi!)
Hello fellow scientists and scientists-to-be! I'm Seth Scrueless. I oversee MART classes at B.I.G. Before you ask, yes, I'm only 13, yada yada yada, no, I'm not an instructor ("You have to be a resbonsible adult to be an instructor. It's a big responsibility" -Miss Trycson, who is an instructor. She thinks I'm irresponsibe, in case you can't tell).
Here are some classes you can take:
Each wing of classes (such as MART, TOPS, or Life Class) is broken into smaller topics which are taught by instructors. Each branch has an overseer (Like me), who gathers all students in a wing of science and gives them an overveiw of the day, an update on B.I.G.'s sucess before sending them to the classes within the branch (like Cosmetics testing or Biochemistry).
First off, we have MART (Minor Animal Research Trasanctions) lab. This is broken into:
Cosmetics Testing
Life Observations
RAE (Repurposing and Experimenting. In other words, domesticating wild animals and doing other experiments)
and
Collecting Species
Second, we have Major Animal Research Transactions (called TOPS, which is lab-slang for Top Secret) This is where they are working out the stuff about the Power of Wing, and other powers. You can only take this branch if you have been through MART classes and have been chosen by Prof. Hornshaw.
Next, we have Life Class, boken into:
Biochemstry
Nature Studies (Pretty much: Nature and How We Can Harness It).
and
Wild Tacticts (Pretty much: Containing the Wild in Cages)
Fourth, we have Mechanics Lab, divided into:
Technical Engineering
Inventing (Yes, this is broad. I mean learning about the process of invention by "Inventing.")
Metal-working
and
Machine Designing.
On the (Shall we start?) thread by Trill and on other threads on Kyngdom, you can jump in and take B.I.G. classes. You don't have to read all the posts, just read the last few so that you can get a feel for the action.
See you in the lab!

This is great! Although I am not a human or work at BIG, it will certainly make BIG recruits have a better idea what they're going through!

A lot of people think that I'm too young to be a scientist at B. I. G., but a scientist can be anyone, young or old! B. I. G. sees potential (erm, funny that I'm talking about this. I just talked to Prof. Hornshaw a few weeks ago complaining that I didn't want to be overseer... that went well) and cultivates it!
Professor Hornshaw can be impatient, and some people (coughcoughCypherlabscoughcough) try to use this to make her "evil." Really, the times that she's stopped Miss Trycson from pushing me off the Scientist Board (how do you spell that sort of board? I'm pretty sure it isn't "bored," but that would be perfect since the meetings are what I would call "boring") are innumerable!
And even though she yells at us when she's impatient, I yell at people too... (like when Laria and I are having one of our showdowns. We're enemies by the way, but we're working on not hating each other anymore. But after what she just did to me... okay, never mind, not going there. You can read about our rivalry on this thread: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/kyngdom/node/199432?page=3 it's the first comment on the page).
People like Dr. Sheepshank are dragging away the success of B.I.G. Destroying the wild? We're just taking observations! Killing animals? We release them when we are finished observing them! B. I. G. harnesses the powers of nature in machines, and observes the wild.
It's getting late, so I'd best be off. If I oversleep (again), I may put my shirt on backwards (again) in my rush to get to breakfast.
You used the correct spelling for that kind of board, Seth.
