(Shall we start?)
Trill sighed. She was standing near her bed in her dormitory room. She had three pictures of the Cypher wheel spread out in front of her. "Which one should I bring to the meeting place tonight?" she muttered. Shrugging, she picked them all up and tossed them into a bark and felt shoulder bag, along with some notes and papers. She was now ready for the night.
Trill sighed again and picked up a WWI codes book to wait until nightfall.

Giniva~
Done.
I leaned back in my chair, drawing a deep breath. The piece of paper lay lifeless before me upon the wooden desk I had managed to procure from my siblings' grasps. Words obviously written with intensive care sprawled across its surface, creating a response.
A response to my offer from B.I.G!!
I had to wait a whole hour after receiving and reading the letter to write: my hand had been shaking. When I was finally well enough to write, it took another painstakingly long period of time to thouroughly think through my words.
And now, after finishing, I took slow, deep breaths to calm my once again shaking hands, greatful at least I had paused long enough to keep my handwriting decent.
My lifelong goal had been fulfilled! Not to go to B.I.G, that was entirely unexpected, but to outshine my siblings!
Four older siblings had always stood above me. The eldest, the only other girl, had befriended me and together we conquered our silly brothers until she left for college, a mighty fine one might I add.
The next two in line were the twins, identical of course. For me it was simply to tell them apart from one another, Michael was slightly heavier, while Max was all skin and bones. They were both relatively skinny however. One conquered Astronomy, while the other focused on Biography.
The closest to me, although still three years older, was probably the most rambunctious of us all. He liked to invent insane things, edible and otherwise.
My pa and mother were smart as well, and had an even closer bond then the twins. Ma majored in Oceanography, while Pa majored in Physics, although both had taught the other their skills.
I, the youngest at an age of 13, had learned a little from each of them, 'How the world works,' sister would say.
But oh how I loved chemistry. Combining elements together to create the strangest things, like Mary Poppins Purse, as I called it. My latest invention. I had created it using a black hole and counteracted it with a chemically coated leather from a Mississippi Alligator.
Having the knowledge of several other areas in science sincerely helps, so I don't have to run around asking other scientist questions, though sometimes the occasion arises.
I felt my heart flutter as a smile graced my lips, and the nervousness mingled wi my superfluous joy. "B.I.G..." I whispered, before suddenly grasping the letter in my hand, making sure not to crease it, and quickly standing.
My excitement must not have been so overwhelming, because I took the time to tuck the chair back under the desk. It might have just been the respect I held for the twins. It was their desk.
Then, without a second thought, I dashed down the stairs, surprised to see everyone gathered iun the living room.
"Do we finally get see why you squealed and dissapeared for a few hours?" Mother asked, arching her delicate brow, though a humor lined her voice.
"Did I squeal?" I asked, trying to recall such an action.
"Oh yeah baby," pa chuckled. "I do believe I was deaf after that."
"Oh, uhm, well..." I cleared my throat, holding out the invitation, not my reply. "I got an invitation to B.I.G," I explained, a grin spreading across my face. It faded after I processed their blank expressions, and I handed the letter to pa and ma. "Read it," I ordered, letting them take it from my hands.
A few moments of silence later, both mom and pa congratulated me while my siblings read it. "That's fabulous! I'm not sure if I can provide you a ride though," they not said in unison. By now I had gotten used to it.
"Won't you give me a ride?" I asked hopefully.
"I might be an!e to get a day off..." pa muttered to himself, receiving a nod from ma.
"That should work! Honey, I'm so proud of you!"
I smiled, glancing at my siblings. And don't I know it.

Trill quietly picked through the woods, racing to the meeting. When she got to the clearing, there were a couple other humans there, whose names she didn't know (here you go, Nameless mystery. Hope it helps! ;-)), and a couple cats. She shyly waved. Suddenly, wings fluttered behind her and a great owl landed next to Trill. Trill jumped. "H-hi. Sorry." She moved out of the way. The owl(a little help here?) spoke in a deep voice and said, "Let the meeting commence." Trill took a deep breath and raised her hand to show. The owl called on her. "Thank you. Now, I hardly know any of your names, but here is what I brought." Trill fumbled the pictures of the Cypher out of her bag. "I took three pictures as close to the Cypher as I dared last night, all from different angles. And here are some notes I snached from.....Er.....someone's desk. Sorry," Trill lowered her eyes, ashamed. "I'm not sure whose." She took out a floor plan. "Flying creatures, humans, and land animals galore, I am proud to say I completed the map of B.I.G." It was slightly crude, but she had done the best she could. "I-I don't think B.I.G. supporters know of my spying yet. If they do," here she looked down again. "They're really good at hiding it.."

I was just flying around, screeching and hooting to clear my throught at times. When the wind picked up, I adjusted my wings to a climb. A paper came straight at my face, and I crash landed. I wasn't terribly injured, I luckily landed on the soft treetops, so I only got minor scratches. I inspected the paper a bit more. Thanks a lot Missy! Storm thinks. He looks a bit more carefully at the paper. Another letter from Cypher Labs. But this one was an intirely new type of letter. This one talked about requests for dreams because the scientists have found out a "Mysterious Object"'s power that involves wind. Storm highly doubts that any normal person would receive dreams because of the discovery of the Power of Wing. He took the letter in his beak and flew back to his hollow to add to his notebook. This is a very exciting and dangerous discovery. If the scientists found out what the Power of Wing can do, and if it's power is like in the children's stories... Storm shook his head. The Power of Wing can surely destroy one's soul if they manage to take the power out of it. Someone innocent could get hurt.

I wake up and look around me. Dusty books and wooden shelves. Great, they didn't kick me out of the library last night. I check my black watch. 6:30 am. The library's not open yet, so I walk over to behind the desk to see if anyone returned a book I hadn't read yet. I pick up a familiar book and think about re-shelving it, or maybe reading it again, but I notice a book mark sticking out of it's yellow/white pages. I slowly pull it out. It's a letter. I scan through the letter quickly and quietly and my eyes widen as I do so. BIG. Wonder what that is. Some sort of young scientist center.. inventing? Could... Sammi be there?! No, probably not. But, they might have some inventing books there.... I tug on my locket, as I do when I'm nervous. Brazen Inquiry Guild. That's where I was going. I look at the date on the letter, and it looks like I was supposed to get it a few days ago, but... Fashionably late, I guess.

Hi! Just starting this, so if I make any consistency mistakes, somebody, feel free to call me out.
Tani~
I was used to staying in the shadows - most of the time at least - and being around many other people was a little intimidating. Except the girl. The one at the market near town I'd always seen. She and I were almost friends, so one day, when she got a peculiar letter, she showed it to me, and asked what I thougt.
"B.I.G?" I said doubtfully. "It seems like they've got good intentions. Do you want to go?"
"Yes!" She said, her face splitting with a grin. "It would mean a chance out of here!"
"Then do," I replied. "And be careful."
"Always, Tani. I'll count on you and your big tough woodsy self to come and rescue me if I'm signing up to be a lab rat."
"Shut up. I'm not woodsy, big or tough either for that matter."
"You live in the woods.Not really big, I guess, but tough? You strike me as the kind who can hold her own."
"You strike me as the type who should respond to that letter before big tough woodsy Tani walks to another booth."
"Fine, you downer." She said laughingly, and sold me a loaf of bread.
The next week, she came to visit me. I knew it was her when I heard her call because she's the only one who knows where I live -- a cabin wrapped into the branches of a big pine tree, on the edge of a great forest.
"You?" I called out of the window. "I thought you were out of here! Tell me they accepted you!"
"Yeah, I was accepted..." she trailed off. "I need to get up there. We can't talk like this."
I tossed down the rope ladder and let her in.
An hour later, she'd told me of B.I.G. and what they were doing. And then about the organization made to bring them down.
"They need spies." She told me, grabbing my hands and looking straight into my eyes to make sure she got her point across. "I figured you could do it. We'll fake your records and everything. It'll be like you were always there."
"I...." I got up from the cushion I wa sitting on and looked out the window. The sun, setting, made splashes of light between the trees' silhouettes.
"Okay."
And now I'm here.
A B.I.G. dorm.
I don't know where the girl is.
But I do know where there'll be a meeting.
And it's one I figure i'm to be part of now.

BTW, Tristen Lionheart is Lindsey's character. So Lindsey, you can change anything that happens in this conversation if Tris seems to peppy or anything... I just needed someone else to talk to in this post.
Seth~
"Prof. Hornshaw is looking for machine designs," Tristen says, leaning agaisnt the wall. I continue to poke at the pieces of the disassembled pen in my hand.
"So?" I question, only partially listening to Tris' chatter.
"So your going to submit a diagram, right?"
"What?"
"Di-a-gram. 4 syllables."
"Oh, yeah. I mean NO!
"Why not?" Tris asks incredulously.
"My drawing isn't very good," I mutter. Somewhere deep within the depths of B.I.G. HQ, a bell rings, saving me from Tristen's lecture on believing in art.
"Oh yeah! New arrivals come today. We gotta clean the dorms... bye!" Just like that, Tristen skips away, her wild mane of red hair waving behind her. New arrivals. Something clicks inside my head. New arrivals meant ex-Cypher workers. Great. I might recognize some of them. Or worse, they might recognize me.

Giniva~
I looked around wi awe, griping my backpack straps even tighter and readjusting it. Mary Poppins Purse was neatly tucked inside with a majority of my items within, but the items I would sooner need were placed inside the backpack as well.
I could quench the excitement pumping through my veins, and a smile was plainly plastered upon my face as I entered B.I.G. laboratories. In fact I was so pumped that I nearly ran into a person.
Narrowly ducking away, I turned to apologise, but found myself struck speechless as I met his intriguing black eyes. "Are those black eyes?" I askex taking a step forward while intently meeting his gaze. "I mean not as in beat up black eyes, but as in black irises. Are they natural?"
He confusion clearly showed, but he managed a curt nod in reply. A humored smile touched the corners of his lips, however.
Flushing, I took a step back, ducking my head sheepishly. "Erm...my apologies," I began, before looking back up at him. We were about the same height. Now that I wasn't staring into his eyes, I realized he had a scar running along his nose. I decided to maybe ask later when he wasn't so creeper out by me.
"Sorry," I repeated, before straightening myself and quickly running a finger through my hair. "I'm Giniva, I'm one of the new arrivals to B.I.G."
"Oh!" He exclaimed, understanding donning upon his face as he grinned at me. It was amazing how ones expression could change their entire appearance I realized. "I'm Seth, welcome."
I nodded in reply, biting my lip nervously as I glanced around. Now that my initial glory had faded and people were around, the nervousness set in. "I, er...can you help me?" I asked.
"Please," I added after a second thought.
~~~`
I hope I portrayed your character nicely Seth!!
Wait. Ivy? What? After all these years. . . I jump off of her, hastily backing away. The cat looks ruffled, tail lashing. "Kasumi. . . .?" she mews warily. I nod nervously, shuffling my paws. "Er. . . where are your parents?" she asks, rusty fur bristling slightly. I hiss. Her eyes widen. I shake my head, muttering, "It's not your fault. Fang humans killed 'em, took 'em away, no way to know." Ivy's eyes widen further, as big as moons. "Oh, Kasumi, Kasumi!" she wails. "I'm so sorry!" I mumble again, "It's not your fault." Her emerald amulet glows softly in the morning light. I nod to it. "What is that, anyway? What's it for?" She ducks away. "Like you care," I snort. "I guess we've all got secrets." She nods. "So," I begin, "got any plans to completely destroy B.I.G.?"
(February 11, 2016 - 11:12 pm)
The next day, Trill woke up and strechted. She felt today was important, but she couldn't remember why. Then she remembered-she had to greet new arrivals today! "Oh man." She muttered as she scrambled around the room, getting ready. She scuttled downstairs just as the bell rang for new arrivals. "Hi." Trill said to each new arrival. She also winked. If they gave her a confused look, they weren't spies. So far it had been pretty uneventful, no new spies. Finally, the last girl winked back. Trill jumped a little with excitment and slipped a message into her hand. "Whats your name?" Trill asked. "Laria." She replied. "Laria, don't read that until your safe. Preferably in the restroom." That sent both girls giggling quietly. Laria left, and Trill shivered with happiness. She went upstairs to prepare. The message she had slipped Laria read, 'Meet me out back at the big oak.'
(February 12, 2016 - 10:12 am)
Trill, I think Tani is a spy too. Laria, you never mentioned in your background whether you did a little work on th Cypher or not. I'm assuming you have, but If I've got it wrong, I'm sorry.
Seth~
I'm having trouble focusing on what Giniva is saying for three reasons. The first is that the way she swishes her brown ponytail when she talks is quite distracting. The second is that I'm still meddling with my pen behind my back (and the miniater engine just burned me), and the third is that I'm watching Trill greet the newcomers. Actually, I'm watching the newcomers. So when Giniva asks me if I can help her, it takes me a couple of seconds to process what she is asking. She continues looking at me with a quizzical look, and I wonder if she is still studying my eyes. What's so unique about having black eyes anyway? Who knows.
"Okay, I'll tell you how things work," I finally answer her question, "This is B.I.G. Headquarters, where you'll live until you are a scientist. Once you are a trained scientist, you either stay here or are moved to a different outlet, like Bleak Peak. The dorms are over that way." I point down the hallway. Giniva nods.
"You still have a few hours until supper, which is in the Big Hall," I continue, "you'll start your training to become a B.I.G. scientist by picking a smaller department to be trained in, and then working your way up." As I say this, I keep a sharp eye on all newcomers. When the last girl steps up, my heart stops. No. No. NO! The same black hair; familiar violet eyes. It's Laria. If she sees me...
Stop. She's changed sides now. She won't care. But I know that's wrong. She will care.
Giniva~
I watched Seth, slightly confused, but managed to hold back the brunt of the questions for someone else, he seemed distracted. "Thanks!" I replied with a warm smile, meeting his gaze and once again struck by his black eyes.
"Okay," I paused, scratching my head. "Sorry again, but black eyes are really cool. I've never actually met anyone with so much melanin as to turn the iris black. Some eyes are dark brown, like a really dark brown, but not black." Grinning sheepishly I added, "I almost have no melanin in mine whatsoever." I had striking ice blue eyes, which were much more sensitive to the sun because of the bright color.
He took a moment before chuckling and nodding, though his eyes were on the other newcomers. I inwardly sighed, shuffling my feet during a moment's silence.
"Uhm..thanks again..I guess...I supposed you are most likely busy, so I guess Ill head off..."
"Yeah! See you around," he responded. I was greatly relieved that the last words of our conversation wouldn't all be mine.
Nodding, I headed off towards the dorms, looking around nervously after that odd encounter.
Maybe i was a little too enthusiastic. Did he not like me? Was I weird? Did it even matter? I thought to myself, before finally nodding my head with a sudden descicion. It didn't matter what others thought of me. I had come here to learn, not to make friends.
Though one or two might be nice.
Oops. Thanks!
(February 13, 2016 - 9:05 am)
Hey Seth, thanks for remembering me :) but it's OK, I'll fill in how she got to B.I.G. now.
And Trill, hope you don't mind, I'll use your character a little.
Tani~
It was dark. Today had been the day the new recruits had flooded into the hallways of the large, blocky building, but I hadn't been there. I'd been at a small FAFA hideaway staring at maps - I knew virtually nothing about the facility, and they didn't want to send me in right away and clueless, even if we did have people inside. The girl told me where to go. "One of the guards is with us," she said. "It'll be pretty risky going in at night, but once you're past the gate, head for dorm 19. That's where one of our other correspondents will meet you and tell you what you need to know."
I crept along the twisting fence until I saw the bright lamp in front of the entryway. Only one person was guarding this place. I looked around to make sure I was alone, then I threw a tiny stone at the window of the guardhouse.
The man inside looked up. This was our inside man. He'd secretly disabled all the alarms that would've normally gone off when I even set foot outside the gate. He pushed a button and walked from the guardhouse. The small gate attached to the fence sprang open.
"Quickly." He said, and that was all. He ushered me down the drive and swiped a card to get me through the back door. Before I knew it, I was inside a massive hallway. It looked like the main part of the building - tall and wide, with occasional receptionists' desks scattered throughout.
I walked toe-to-heel to make my steps as silent as possible, searching the small signs next to the hallways that broke off from the room I was in. 17, 18, 19 - yes, nineteen.
I silently went down the hallway, passing under security cameras I knew were turned off, and quietly knocked on the dorm's door. I held my breath as I heard the lock click from inside.
A girl poked her head out. She fit the description I'd been given - ponytailed red hair and bright purple eyes.
I sighed with relief, and winked hesitantly. She winked back, grinning.
"I think we're gonna have a great time." She whispered.
"Splendid," I said sarcastically, but I couldn't help smiling as well. As I walked into the dorm and collapsed into one of the beds, I thought, I'm finally here.
