This is intended to be a low-stakes RP that doesn't impact the main plot where people can just jump right into Kyngdom :)
Kyngdom is a sprawling world with tons of people to meet and adventures to be had, from the coastal city of Mer to the frigid coniferous Decoy Forest. Several travelers are embarking on different journeys through it, and I assume they'll eventually meet up with one another, perhaps at an inn or a marketplace or a crossroads. This RP is a way for characters to interact, form relationships, and explore Kyngdom, and for us Kyngdomers to get to know this place as well :)

You're free to make as many characters as you'd like (well, as many as you can manage, I suppose), and anyone can join at any time. And if you're reading this and you're hesitant about joining Kyngdom, I encourage you to join :D Don't worry about making mistakes or anything--it's totally cool and we'll help you. Honestly, we're all pretty new here :) (And it's no secret that we need all the Kyngdomers we can get XD)

I wait, and finally the being agrees. I can hardly contian my excitment. "I'm Altair. And you are...?" they say.
"Mikrokosmos," I say, dipping into another curtsy. "But Kosmos suits me fine. And does your, ah, scaley friend have a name they respond to?"
"Delta," Altair said, their face softening for the first time as we both glance at the small drake.
"Delta, Delta, Delta!" they chirp, looking up happily at Altair.
I smile at their enthusiasum. "Well, it is a pleasure to meet you two. Where, pray, are you heading anyway?"
@Scuttles, okay! And was wondering, is Delta a girl (or they/them?) Just wondering, because Delta seems like a female name (but you used they/them pronouns so...?)

So sorry I didn't do this on Friday, it was a hectic day. To answer your question, drake genders are weird (without even considering trans drakes). Delta's gender is probably best described by "nonbinary." I didn't particularly consider the gender the name sounded like, I just wanted to name them after something ocean/water related bc of Altair's connection to water, although now I realize that could be a bit confusing ;).

"Well, Kosmos, welcome to our little traveling party. For your information, we are traveling northeast towards the Bog + Burrow inn. I am attempting to find clues about my past, as well as Delta's family." I smile. "Your company is actually quite welcome, as the roads are dangerous these days. We should probably get under way before it's dark out, so why don't you tell me and Delta a bit more about yourself while we walk?" I gesture in the direction I'm heading and begin to take a few steps that way, with Delta scampering happily ahead.
I've decided to trust Kosmos, for now. She seems nice enough and it will be handy to have another companion. Although it looks like I might have to keep an eye on her for a bit when we get to town, since she mentioned she's never spent much time around other humanoids, and might not be very street smart. She trusted me quite easily, but she might make the mistake of trusting somebody dangerous. I don't know though, she seems pretty discerning. And she might have more experience with society than I know---maybe I'll have to teach her about things like money and inns and towns, or maybe I won't. Presumably somebody taught her to speak and gave her that dress-jumpsuit thing, so she must have some experience.

Personality: Very quiet but is very intelligent for her age. Can be very cold to people at first. She loves to spy on people. She will NEVER disclose info to anyone even people she has know for many years.
Appearance: Light skin short light brown hair, soft green eyes but still are very pircing, she mostly is is human form but is shapshifter.
Home: Does not have one
Skills: Shapshifter, good at spying and very quiet.
Backround: First memory running diving into a hole and hiding for 2 days.

Hi! So with the this RP, there isn't really a plot. I'm pretty new with Kyngdom as well, and joined this RP (with Kosmos) ANYWAYS I think that this RP is for just traveling around in Kyngdom, and you could always ask if there is somebody avalible that would like to RP with you :) Not sure if I explained that well or not buuut yeah! Others can probably help a bit better then I can :P

"Thank you," I attempt to reign in my excitement and relief. I wait for Altair to start walking, and then follow just slightly behind. Delta squeaks and trundles ahead of us.
I collect my thoughts further, then say, "Well... As you know, I'm an elf, so most of nature respects me and the dangerous ones leave me alone for the most part. I can understand animal speech, but some are quite easy to learn without knowing all animal language." I pause, and then say, "And like I said, I don't, don't think that I've met anybody who's like me. I mean, there are an occational nymph or niaid, but nothing more. They keep to themselves."
I shift my cloak, and continue. "The animals raised me, as far as I'm aware. My earliest memory is sitting outside a bear den in the middle of winter, staring up at the night sky. I remember that because I was so cold, but I couldn't sleep anymore. That's when I started collecting hair for my cloak. I think I was four winters old then." I fade off, wondering what happened before that. I remember having the bear mother around me until I was 6 summers old, and then she told me that I was big enough to face the world alone. But... I didn't remember before.
Lost in thought, I hopped a log then blinked to clear my head. "And what about you? Where are you from and such?"

Myint got up groggily and looked around. Where was she? Well, at least she was away from that creature... except now she couldn't get out of this hole she was in. Just her luck. And all because she'd prodded a root. She brushed the dirt off her clothes, pulled a few leaves from out of her hair, and turned towards an opening to her right. She seemed to be in a system of old tunnels. Well, might as well explore now that she was here.

Fil spent the day trying to forget what had happened in the morning. What had happened in thr night. That seemed to be all his days seemed to consist of nowadays. Night. And forgetting. And unliving. But Fil was just fine with that. Unliving meant unfeeling meant not getting hurt. Never getting hurt again. And Fil could work with that. Never getting hurt, never staying in one place. Tomorrow, he'd leave for a new town.

So sorry for the late reply---a combination of traveling and state standardized testing over the last week has made it almost impossible for me to get on CB.
Kosmos tells me about her background, and then asks me about where I'm from.
"I don't really know," I answer, stepping over a fallen log. "I woke up floating in the ocean a little ways away from shore about 6 months ago with no memory of who I am or where I'm from. I started wandering Kyngdom in hopes of finding some information about myself and rescued Delta from a pack of wolves about 4 months ago. We've been traveling together ever since. I know quite a lot about Kyngdom, the species who inhabit it, and the current political climate but I have no personal memories."
Fallen twigs and leaves crunch underfoot. Delta scampers around merrily, sometimes eagerly running ahead and other times walking with us.

Okay! Hector and Ivan are sort of a package deal, due to the fact that they are siblings and trave together, so Starlight will probably end up interacting with both of them. Are you okay with this?
