Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board
The paper was
The paper was dated almost exactly a month ago. It was one of many documents that the high-up and government of the lands outside of Kyngdom had been passing around.
It had no label, just a recipe and a set of ingredients. The end of it was filled with unanswered questions, some of which were cryptic rambles about amounts and the type of ingredient needed, some talking about potency and extra ingredients.
Kyngdom was more vulnerable than usual with the war that swept through it. In fact, the nations outside of it were confident that they could take whatever parts of it they wanted without violence, just through a single substance and a recipe. They would sell it to the highest bidder, who (they planned/hoped) would give them whatever piece of land they wanted. The land along the coasts was their favorite--they didn't care if it would leave Kyngdom landlocked and defenseless. They had a weapon and they were going to sell it.
Well, calling it a weapon would be almost wrong. Those who saw it didn't think the off-white colored substance could harm something. It was just goo to them, something a fourth-grader's science experiment had probably created.
Maybe it was goo. But who says goo can't kill? Kyngdomers know it can. They've seen Brazen Goo before, but never this.

What is this? It looks interesting, I'm just not sure how to go forth.

I don't know if this is a good idea. You see, it really affects the main plot, and we've beeb working on that for years now. And this? Well, frankly it has the power to wreck everything we've worked on so far. Alsk, isn't it really bad to try to claim land of somewhere in the middle of a war? Alsk, Kyngdom isn't defenseless. Many of the cities, especially on the coast, have extremely powerful armies. I don't mean to sound rude, but I'm not certain this is the best idea....

I never called Kyngdom defenseless.
"The land along the coasts was their favorite--they didn't care if it would leave Kyngdom landlocked and defenseless."

I was talking about the part wherw you said the war was leaving Kyngdom vulnerable.

I see. I hope this reply doesn't seem rude to you at all. I apologize for making some of the post very unclear
I'm really sorry; some of the next parts of this post are going to seem passive-aggressive, but I want to have my words to be clear. According to an online source, vulnerable means "susceptible to physical or emotional attack or harm." I'm not great at defining things clearly, but what I meant when I wrote vulnerable was not supposed to mean completely without defense or defenseless; it was supposed to mean weaker than usual.
If anyone needs me to clear up any parts of the post, I will.

I think this is a good way to get Catastrophe involved again. He'd be a high bidder. Or perhaps the Resistance would be interested. I can see some interesting advancements we could make with this, and it's always possible that the recipie can be stolen...(So Kyngdom wouldn't have to give up any land.)
Or, remember the council with the Nobyls we were thinking of having? This could be our means of bringing that about, too. After all, the Nobyls are Kyngdom's government--aha! I have plot ideas! If anyone thinks this is a good idea, I can let you know my ideas on the plot thread.
