This is the thread for planning a potential live chat! I think that having another live chat would be fun, as well as beneficial. We could sort of orient ourselves and get coordinated again.
How many of you would be interested in a live chat?
What website/platform would work best for you? (Nano Young Writers Program, here [if possible], etc?)
What dates are good for you?
@Admin - Do you think it might be possible to have a live chat here on Cricket?
I'll ask to see if there's an Admin able to agree to a specific time in advance. It's usually hard for us to do that because we have so many different things to do.

Couple questions, what is a live chat what does it do and what is it for. Yet another question, does it use the cameras on our devises? Aka does it show our faces? I would really like to meet a couple of the other Kyngdomers face to face but my mom is parinoid of stalkers, and truth be told I would not like to be stalked. I especially want tower Sybill because she is my main RPing buddy (Hi friend!). :)
A live chat is when Admins announce in advance to CBers when Admin will be online posting comments, so each one is posted as soon as possible and participants get a feeling of chatting in real time. We've done two of them in the past ten years. However, it's impossible to specify a time in advance that will be good for all the people who want to participate. And it's hard for Admins to set aside a dedicated time for sure.
Chatterbox never uses a camera, posts photos of people.

A Live Chat just uses the same Chatterbox format and is on this website; it's just when the Admins automatically post whatever gets put on the Chatterbox.
(Also, I totally get you with the stalker-paranoid mother.)
Hi everybody. We are willing to host a live chat here if you are interested. We would probably host the chat on Down to Earth or Chirp@Cricket instead of Kyngdom, just to make it easier for everyone to find.
CBette is right about how it will work. We will decide on a time, start a thread, and I will post your comments as fast as I can for an hour or two. That way, all comments still get safely moderated through the CB, but you'll have my full attention so things will be posted as you send them in.
Please feel free to share times and days that work for you, and we'll do the best we can to schedule a chat that works for lots of you. A weekday afternoon, next week, might be best for us here!

For next week, anywhere from Tuesday through Friday (and maybe Saturday) works best for me. I can most likely be on at any time from 2:00pm to 7:00pm Eastern Time.

Weekends would likely work best for me, but on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 Eastern Time would also work. Mondays, I can be on from 4:00 to 6:00 Eastern time, as well as on Thursdays and Fridays. Though Wednesdays are really packed for me.

IDK I'm on summer vacation now (HAHA sorry.). Anytime would probaly work for me as long as it's not 6 am or sooner. :P
