Spies and missions.

Those were things I wanted to avoid for a while.

Just until things felt right.

Over the past month, things I've felt and things I've seen just keep coming back. Things I don't want to think about.

So I take a trip.

Places I've marked on my map are where I met Anwen, Capn'O hqs, the forest where I grew up, Caelani's cage, the underwater ball.  I go to the ocean a lot, and wonder about Ayearth.

I tried looking up a few names. Moonshadow, Blazing Star. But I can't find anyone, or anything.

But for now, Northern Kyngdom is my first stop.

Day One

The "Everything is different and slightly insane" part.

* * *

My trek through Northern Kyngdom (I may enclose a map) is, to say the least...dangerous. Not like how I remembered it.

I started from the Resistance Base and ended up near Fallen Heights, but even then when I arrived, it was dark, and I needed a place to make camp badly. But the houses, strangely, were being investigated.

People are all over Fallen Heights, and it doesn't seem to be for preservation. It's honestly kinda suspicious. They seem to be looking for something, so I'm keeping my distance. They also seem slightly aggressive in their quest for.... knowledge? Some magical artifact? Caelani? Dunno.

More later.

Day One, part two

Icy's logbook

---

They're definitely strange. A group of people in the middle of these lands searching through abandoned places?

Fallen Heights...Strange.

The houses are totally ransacked by these people, so I continue on until I reach the waterfalls. As I reach there, something strange came to my eyes. The old Resistance base on Bleak Peak is highlighted by red flares. Strange...there isn't supposed to be anyone there.

Are our enemies there at this moment, outraged to find that there's nobody there?

The flares leave red blurs on my vision, so I look away and try to blink the color spots away with no success.

I'll investigate the base tommorrow...as for now...time to get some sleep in my tent, while listening to the roar of the falls....
