Kyngdom Survival Guide

Greetings, all friendly

Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

Greetings, all friendly

Greetings, all friendly inhabitants of Kyngdom.
As of two days from now, when the early rooster crows, an execution will be held at the Pinespike Arena in Northwest Kingdom.
The following participant of execution is a traitor, a spy, a lier, a killer, and most of all a threat to Kyngdom.
Former General Alexandria Lilly Regeux's execution will be presented with her crimes against this kingdom, followed by her parting from this world after a gruesome battle.
If you are to attend, please let us know by RSVPing. Royalty and ladies and gentlemen of the Court will get box seats.
Thank you all, and have a lovely day.

Ohhhhhhhh. Alexandria's being executed. You might want to call Lia Moonrider. She got me out of Catastrophe's camp!

What is SOCS?

The SOCS is the Society Of Concerned Scientists. It's similar to the B.I.G., but has zoos and an army.

I open the letter, hands shaking. Even before I read it, I have a feeling that it´s really, really bad. Then I read it, and my jaw drops. I sink to the floor in shock. This is really, really, REALLY bad.

Alexandria! I think, and a few memories come back to me. Alexandria, speaking to me when I was 7... I don´t remember why.... Her kind face looking down at me.... I try to grasp at the memories, but they are gone, just like all the others. I scowl in frustration. Why can´t I remember anything at all from my past?

I do, however, know one thing: A friend- even one I hardly remember ever meeting- is in danger, and I have to help save her.

I run out the door, into the setting sun. I´m going to find Shadow. I know who she is, but not personally. Oh, well. I´ll find her anyway.

I push off the ground, and unfurl my huge wings. This was going to be a long night.

~

Sorry for not posting(ever), everyone! I´ll be more active, I promise.

Dear Maximus and Marcus,

Yes, you will have pannel 2 box seats. They have already been reserved for you, and we look forward to you being here. We cannot reveal much information as to who the traitor will be fighting, but the traitor is Alexandria Reguex. She was a former general of Catastrophe and Elliot's army, but she turned to the Resistance soon afterwards for classified reasons that we do not dare to utter in letter.

Anyway, that is an act of treason that she knew about when she signed to become general, so at this moment in time, her execution is being planned, as all traitors to the governemnt (but especially traitorous governemnt officials) are executed through death in the arena.

I do hope I answered your questions.

Headmistress Rigga

Dear Beatrice Woods,

Due to trust issues and past records, you are not eligible to become a SOCS worker. If you want me to, I will pull up those records, but the main outline is that you worked along the side of some of SOCS' enemies for a while, and we do not have time for any problems.

Dear Headmistress Rigga,

Could you pull them up? I'm not sure what you're talking about. If you mean the Resistance, I did join them briefly, but once I learned more about their motives I left. I was under informed when I joined them, and I never did anything while part of them.

MoonR growled as she read the scathing reply that Rigga had oh-so-sweetly sent her.

Of course it's uncrashable. What's the point in having a crashable party?

Most people would have given up by now, or tried to crash the party. Not MoonR-she knew that Rigga told the truth.

That leaves me one option. One that probably gets me killed. Or hurt. Or stabbed. Or skewered-on-the-end-of-something-sharp.

Moon gabbed her halberd-axe, snapped it into it's dual-weilding position, and set off for Pinespike Arena.

----------------time jump-------------

Moon walked straight into the guard at the entrance of the arena and boldly declared,"I want to go fight Shadow's sister in the Arena."

The guard sized her down. The kid had some nerve, coming here in the middle of an arena, asking for a death wish. What was he supposed to do, anyways? Fight her? She couldnt be more than 12 or 13, walking into this disaster of a place. He had no doubt in his mind she would be skewered to pieces in there before she got a chance to swing her weapon.

He planted his spear into the cold ground and said,"Sorry, kiddo. That arena's only for real fighters."

Moon felt a twinge of annoyance, but she merely said,"please? I'm a tough fighter."

He merely repiled, "No. Go away or you'll have the point of a spear in your neck."

MoonR growled. Fine then. She would get in the hard way. "Battle with me, then. Let's see who's stronger."

He accepted that offer with a grin. Figures, the kid had a true death wish. She could die here.

MoonR tensed herself, pulling her swords out and snapping them together, the grips interlocking with a dull click. She had no need to be alarmed-after all, it was only a battle.

He charged at her, spear down, the tip pointed at her chest.

Idiot, MoonR thought, you don't hold your spear like that unless you want to trip over your own feet.

She dodged and whirled her double-bladed custom weapon at him, driving the guard back.

From the heavy breathing, she could tell he was already tiring quickly.

He charged at her twice more before she leaped upward, splitting her weapon in two again and driving the pommel of the sword into the guard's chest. He grunted, struggling to get up, but MoonR's weapon kept him pinned to the ground.

"So,"MoonR said, displaying her two razor-sharp canines, "Am I strong enough NOW?"

She pointed her other sword against his neck and waited for an answer.

He had no resistance.

MoonR dusted herself off and stepped into the Arena to go crash the party from the inside.

----AUTHOR"S NOTE-----

well now, what do you think? Is Moon sincerely trying to help Shadow, or will she turn her back at the last minute and hurt Alexandria???

Moonracer, good job. Attention is what you wanted from my guards? I'll send a private army after you. Also, you can't battle Alexandria. This isn't a free for all. This is an official and formal event. Some random person off the street cannot fight Alexandria. Besides, she could kill you with a snap of my fingers. No, her preparations are taken care of. Most people underestimate her, but she is a fighter. This is why she will fight somebody that will match her skill level. Everything is already taken care of. We don't need volunteers.

Microchip, Alexandria never had any friends. She was in solitary confinement for a couple of years during her training. Through ages 6-11, she trained with other young girls like herself. Any friendships she made weren't real, because she ended up killing them the next day at hand to hand combat practice.

I do believe that a lot of people do not realise this, so I will just show a few logs that my assistant made over the course of a few days during Alexandria's time in my Academy.

Morning Hand-to-Hand Combat Practice

The young girls in Age Seven Bunkers (Alexandria Regeux, Marlee Towns, Kayla Steichzen, Izabel Artlem, Allayna Peters, Winter Rowing, Lelaiya Mark, Yasha Crum) had participated in hand-to-hand combat today, in which four came out successful. The bodies of the following will be disposed of promptly: Marlee Towns, Kayla Steichzen, Allayna Peters, and Yasha Crum. The winners of the hand-to-hand combat are all of the others that faced off each of their opponents (Regeux vs. Towns, Artlem vs. Steichzen, Rowing vs. Peters, Mark vs. Crum). The girls that survived were ranked in this scoring system:

1. Artlem, for using the fatal blow move 1.

2. Regeux, for using the fatal blow move 5.

3. Mark, for using the fatal blow move 9.

4. Rowing, for using the fatal blow move 2.

A new battle practice will be tomorrow to narrow it down to the best two in the class. The day after tomorrow, those two will fight. From there, the winner will advance to the next level.

Side note to Headmistress Rigga: Alexandria Regeux seems angry that she is in second place. She will be battling Lelaiya Mark tomorrow, so we will have to see the results.

Wednesday, 0800

The Second Round of Hand-to-Hand Combat Practice

The four remaining girls started their training at 0600, and their battles commensed at 0800. Regeux went up against Mark first, and Regeux won with fatal blow move 4. Artlem then went up against Rowing, and Artlem won with fatal blow move 1. The bodies of Lelaiya Mark and Winter Rowing will be disposed of as soon as possible. As for the two remaining, Alexandria Regeux and Izabel Artlem, they will combat each other tomorrow. The rankings for the last two girls are as follows:

1. Regeux, for using fatal blow move 4.

2. Artlem, for using fatal blow move 1.

Side note to Headmistress Rigga: Regeux did not want to come in second place again, so she used a more difficult move to rank up. Artlem seems to be developing the habit of using fatal blow move 1. She is talented in it, but the referee found Regeux to be quicker in eliminating Mark. Regeux and Artlem will be combating tomorrow.

Thursday, 0800

The Final Round of Hand-to-Hand Combat Practice

The last two girls, Alexandria Regeux and Izabel Artlem, combated each other today at 0800. The battle began, and as you were present, you watched as Izabel went off right away with a side kick and front plunge. Regeux pretended to fall from the side kick but bounced back up with her legs and did a sharp side kick to the left of Artlem. Artlem was suprised and doubled over for 1.872 seconds, long enough for Regeux to pull Artlem in a head lock. Artlem slammed her fist into Regeux's face, and Regeux loosened her grip, allowing Artlem to slip through and tackle Regeux onto the floor. She took several hits at Regeux, and Regeux deflected all of them but one. Finally Regeux kicked up her two legs, causing Artlem to spring backwards, and Regeux tackled and had Artlem once again in a head lock. But this time, Regeux had a tighter grip and Artlem couldn't wiggle through or get her fist to reach Regeux's face. Artlem tried to slap Regeux's arms away, but Regeux kept her arms there. Then Regeux glanced up at you, Headmistress Rigga, and you nodded your head. Regeux, with one brief motion, used fatal blow move 1, the very same blow that Artlem had used for the girls that she had combated. Artlem's body fell to the ground, and Regeux was escorted away while Artlem's body was taken care of.

Alexandria Reguex, now declared the winner of the hand-to-hand comabt matches, will now proceed to level 10, class 10.

Thank you for your time, Headmistress Rigga.

Marcus~

I walk into our box seat and sit down, folding my robes acertain way in an attempt to hide the form of my upper boy. I've made my hair up just right, trimmed it rather short, to look more formal. The robes I wear are of the finest cloth that we could find, and I hold myself in the regular princely posture, but I still am scared of exposure.

Will they see what I'm hiding?

Maximus-

My 'brother' gives me a worried look, and I nod him off. I don't want the guards who surround us to suspect anything. But it doesn't seem they're very observant, at least, not of us.  They seem more focus on the girl who proclaimed herself 'Moon R', wishing to fight Alexandria. I meet Marcus' eyes again, and the glance we share tells me everything I need to know.

All I need to do now is wait for the signal.

@Viola? Yes, it is an intentional 'Welcome to Nightvale' reference! Congrats for recognizing it!

Yes! Thank you! Also, did shadow cut her hair? Pixie cuts are adorable and practical, but long hair is warm and dramatic... Should I be happy or ambivalent? The dilemma! XI

I walk into the arena and stop in my tracks. Hundreds of people fill the stadium. But that's not what draws my attention. It's not the cruel smile of Rigga, or the cheering, villanous faces that peer out from the seats. It's not the fact that I am surrounded by total strangers and I don't know what SOCS is. It's the prisoner that draws my attention. She, of course it just HAD to be a girl, was tied up under a gullitoine. When I look closer, I see that the gullitoine is constantly changing into weapons of execution. Those are the worst. Shapeshifters are powerless against those because as soon as they shapeshift into one form to destroy it, the weapon changes. Out of the corner of my eye, I spot a group of whispering girls. I don't think they're evil. I catch a few words. "Rescue . . . Alexandria . . . Death to Rigga." I immediately know they are possible allies. I walk over to them.
