Nehina-my life

So, my backstory is kinda vague, so I decided to create a thread for me to write them on. I probably won't be able to keep-up daily, though. Once I am finished with past lif, I'll start writing...well, you could call it...now life? Well, the stuff happening to my charrie now.

Hope y'all really enjoy them!

Okay, I was wrong! I'll do a past-life right now..

The first thing I ever saw was white. I was surrounded by white. White everywhere. But it was soft, real soft. The folds and wrinkles of..whatever it was..comforted me(somehow?!). It smelled of-just kidding, most wolves can't smell that good as pups for a while. Anyway, I supposed it was to keep me warm, however, something deep inside me told me I was supposed to kept warm by something else. Maybe-but I forgot about it quickly. After all, I was only a puppy. Now I was much more interested in something else. I had accidentally pulled back part of the white thing when I realized something brown-ish was underneath. I put one paw against the side of it and felt something scratchy-not at all like the white thing. The scratchy something was..woven, I guess..and it was then that I noticed it wasn't just there. Once I slipped aside more of the white stuff, I found that I was lying in the brown-ish, scratchy thingy! It was round-sort of-and it grew high above my head. I hadn't thought to look up, but now that I had, I did. The woven wall stopped-well, like I said, high above my head-with a sort of arch branching off of it. That's it! I had an idea.

I stood up on my hind paws with my front paws resting on the edge of the brown thing.

"Wow" I breathed. I was in a thing. A dark thing. A small light lit part of it. It was shaped like..maybe a hole? A little bit of something green covered the hole so that only light came in. I could tell from the little light that the floor and walls were gray colored. Suddenly I gasped. There, all across the small cavern, were more. There were little ones and big ones--oh wait! I forgot to say what the "more of them" were! The brown-ish, scratchy, woven, round things!-- From were I stood, I could see that I was the only one awake. The other pups were just humps of gray and off-white fur, rising and falling with every sleeping breath. Huh. My fur's not gray. I thought. It's black and white. Weird. Yet again, I forgot quickly.

Wait, what's that? I suddenly thought. A darker gray shape spread across the floor were I had seen the hole. The green stuff was gone, it had been pushed aside. By what? The words flashed through my mind. I thought it was a shadow, but this was the first time that I ever saw anything. I was blind and deaf for the first days of my life. Also, just to make everything more fun(sarcastically) I still couldn't even smell. Great. Well it was getting closer, but the light from outside blinded me from seeing what was making the possible shadow. All I saw was the outline of two ears and broad shoulders. Could it be?......

I ducked down quickly. Was that a wolf? Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. Quietly, I checked again, letting only my eyes and ears show.

So where was I? Oh yes, I was ducking down.

The shadow of the possible-wolf was proceding forward. The furry shape stepped through the hole. It was huge. (Well, compared to me) It padded through, glancing warily around. Its narrowed eyes were deep green, like that of the stuff covering the hole. It bent over a few of the woven things, sniffing each one in turn, but snorting in dissapointement each time. Then it padded to my side of the cave. It was approaching quickly, as though it had an important mission. Right then was when I realized who it was heading for; it was my turn. Thinking quickly, I ducked back down into my woven thing (a basket I guess)and lay down, pretending to be asleep again. The wolf loomed over me. It's shadow grew as it bend down to sniff me. I sensed a bit of releif as it did so. Then, something cold and wet touched me inbeetween my ears. I flinched in surprise, giving away my needing-practice-sleeping-act. There was no shock from the wolf, only amusement. It bent over again, only this time, it laid something across my neck. Something green and blue and long and skinny. It was like some sort of string. Suddenly, a bark and a yip sounded from outside. The wolf jerked its head up, clearly worried. It quickly bent down one last time, and did the cold and wet thing again, as if saying goodbye. Next thing I knew, the wolf was gone. But I was not alone for long. Soon, about four or five more wolves streamed into the cave, all of them looking around furiously. two of them bounded over in my direction. Having no where else to hide it, I clumsily stuffed the string-thing underneath the white blanket. Only hope assure me that they would not find it...

Snuffling around for a bit, they pushed me around the basket with their noses. Stop it!(me thinking) It nipped one with my tiny teeth, which resulted in him, well, not really doing anything. Apparently, my teeth were not too effective. Satisfied with me being there, they bounded back to the opposite end of the cave where the other wolves had been waiting. They reported to the oldest one, then the whole group rushed outside, as if in search of something or someONE. *cough. cough*

Time's up now, bye.

I opened my eyes to bright sunshine. It had been a week since the "stranger wolf"(as I now called it) had broght me the neclace. I had been playing outside with the other wolf pups during that week and had a good time with them. Although my denmates enjoyed having a play-buddie like me, the older wolves more often than not cast strange glances at me and/or whispered to eachother whenever I walked by. I couldn't see anything wrong with me. I was normal, wasn't I?

or was I?
