PLOT THREAD!

PLOT THREAD!

Alrighty, so as you know, many things have been confused. Let's start with...

1. The Power of Hoof. Blazing Star has the real one, yes? FaFa thinks it's real, so does BIG, so does Catastrophe. Is this correct?

2. The Resistance and FaFa are different groups. Yes? FaFa wants to keep the Powers locked away and guarded. Do they be live the Powers are bad? Or do they simply want to protect them? The Resistance wants to activate them. That is including the mutans, Icy, Ronan, and the Powers themselves. Which side are you on?

3. Jaaws and Whist, Leptomoris, Grondor, Eyo, Aya, and Ayearth's sideaffected power (who still doesn't have a name people) are the current activated powers. That is all of them, yes. Where are they at? (Well, we know where Jaaws is.) Are they with Catastrophe? Following Jaaws? Planning their return and revenge?

4. We need a plan for the battle scene. If I remember correctly, we have four groups. Will these four groups be fighting each other, will they have allies? Is this going to be the final battle, or will we have others? Where will the Powers be when the battle starts? Will they start it? Will they still be imprisoned? Will the fight be to free them? Are they in their instruments or merrily in cages awaiting the time when Catastrophe kills them? If they aren't dead, why did catastrophe hesitate to kill them? Why did he put them in cages?

Okay, so here are the four groups and their beliefs.

The Resistance: originally a group from FaFa. Fanned apart when they wanted to do different things then what FaFa believes. Want to free the Powers and defeat Catastrophe. Hates BIG and SOCS, and of course Catastrophe. Will tolerate FaFa, some may even still have connections with them. (This is just an idea, tell me if I got anything wronge, or this plot development ideaon how They broke from FaFa should change)

FaFa/BIG: originally enemy's, agreed on terms and decided to join together. Against Catastrophe, but want to keep the Powers locked away and inactive, maybe because they dislike them, or maybe because they want to keep them safe. Will tolerate the resistance? Will they tolerate them, or are the mutants and erdge to be different and activate the Powers too much?

Catastrophe's armey: Kill Kill Kill. Out to seek revenge on Kyndom and serve Catastrophe. Will do anything to make catastrophe leader...And keep it that way. Will kill the Powers. No mercy.

SOCS: I don't know much on SOCS, but they are like BIG, just worse on hating animals. They may become and alliance with Catastrophe, if they can tolerate all the mutants in his armey.

That's it! Any plot development ideas are welcome, and we can work together to form the last chapters of Kyndom! Also tell me if I got anything wrong. Most of these are just suggestions and ideas to the plot.

1. Yes, that's the appealing part of a time jump; we get to see how everything turns out some years later. We could just RP through the whole process of rebuilding and such, though--I have hands-on experience with running a democracy from my school, which is tiny and semi-private and awesome, and think of all the shipping and ship-related stuff we could do! Also more character development via soldiers and warmongers having to learn how to build and govern peacefully.

2. Connie's author herself stated that it was okay if Connie turned out to be the savior of something smaller(see her above post). I beleive your understanding of the final battle's plot is correct, and I think Jaaws and the rest of the Sideaffected Powers should be dealt with however possible/necessary. Unless you want her to live, which honestly I wouldn't understand all that well but would respect nonetheless.

3. I think authors wanting to RP descendants should ask permission of the authors whose charries would be the ancestors, unless of course the author wanting to RP the descendant is the author of the ancestors.

4. We can discuss that later if we want; there's plenty of time. We still have three chapters/volumes/Powers to finish, after all.

5. At the climax. Probably towards the end of the Power of Howl.

Maybe all of our attacks on Catastrophe (and, by extension, Jaaws) could fail miserably until the Resistance leaders figure out that we need all the Powers activated and organized to take him (and by extension, her) down, and set their priorities back on that. Heroes fail sometimes. It's sometimes the main element of a character/story arc. They try, they fail, they try again, and if they're lucky, they don't fail. We've stacked up the odds pretty high against the Resistance; why not make use of that? We can not-fail later, perhaps during or after the Power of Howl.

Yeah, I like that idea!

Also, I've always planned on Jaaws dying/getting destroyed at the end (it just makes sense, I guess), and yes, it is possible for her to come back later as future villan. I'm sure we could cook up a scheme for that, if/when the need arises.

And also, Catastrophe will not, I repeat, will not, die at the end it fact, he'll-

Is that a reference to A Series of Unfortunate Events? XD

So Catastrophe will get imprisoned? In his own trap? Ahaha! Which trap? Or am I not supposed to know?

Nngh, I hate it when the villains just get imprisoned and not killed or converted. It leaves a loose end with way too much potential for them to escape and come back in a sequel, angry and thirsty for vengeance. Sequels are boring. Just kill them and burn the body, and destroy the soul, too, if you can't cleanse it. Do a thorough job and be done with it.

Ronan! Lovely, you're here! We really, really, really, need to talk about the shield. Catastrophe doesn't have the shield, because that's not where it's hidden. So I guess the question is why did he think he found it? Maybe the magic of the flower and the oracle made him think it was the shield? I don't know much about the oracle, so maybe this doesn't make sense.

How is this battle with Catatstrophe going to go? I assume it'll end in failure, but Blazing Star will be found, and possibly someone will activate the Power of Hoof.

Hmm. Well, it would be nice if Catastrophe could have the Shield, but I'll make a deal and make it so he has the Crown rather than the Shield and so has to get the Shield. Is that okay?

Okay! I'm not against him having the shield, it's just that I had a lot of fun making up the way it's protected, and I don't want that to go to waste. Is the plan for him to get all of them before the battle? So yeah, Master Nova & Co., (I'm sorry, I don't remember the other names!) are you okay with Catastrophe having the shield.

I do believe the Crown was meant to be last.

Also, we don't really know if we're up to that idea...and besides, it's deeply hidden in plain sight. It'd take a lot of looking, and it'd be impossible, for Catastrophe to find it.

I mean, the same can be said for the shield. Not the part about it being last, the part about it being hard to find.
