I unsheath my katana, and lung forward. I slice through the scikns, and run towards Poe.

The blast from his pistol was to fast to doge. I fly back, and hit the wall. "RUN," I yell.

I release a muffled curse, angry at these people for coming to my home and interupting a peaceful place. Though, I am also grateful for going here on this day, for I will be able to protect my friends. I'm instantly on my feet, an arrow already nocked to the massive longbow's string. Me and Lisa share a nod; we're on the same side here. A sudden cry causes my head to turn, and I manage to catch sight of Nip using his antlers to toss me my quiver. I catch it with one hand, slinging it over my right shoulder. I then turn my eyes back on the armed strangers, a small scowl appearing on my lips. "Next person who fires a weapon of any type will find  an arrow pertruding from a very unpleastant spot!" I bark out, drawing the arrow back until the feathered ends brushed my cheek.

I rush towards a person with the Aether pistol that shouted,

"This area is under quarantine."

He aims his gun, but I burst it out of his hand with a quick side kick. Pretty soon we're hand-to-hand, and I have him pinned down.

"Don't do this if you know what's good for you," he scowls.

I look at him, glaring.

"What are you talking abo-"

But I'm blown back when he throws a force field charger on me.

I growl and rub my shoulder, staggering back up. I look around the chaos, but he's gone.

Scions pour into the room, and a two foxes burst into the door, joining the fight.

Leva's throwing people back with her wind, and Shadow's flying around everywhere, attacking scions.

Suddenely, my hair bristles. Something has been shot towards me.

I immediately hold up my paw to the side.

I look, and a few inches from my paw is an Crowdome designed arrow with a poison tip suspended in the air.

I trail the arrow, and there stands an archer, standing in shock.

So that's what Leva was talking about.

My hidden talent.

Has anyone else here ever taken an archery class? Also, catching an arrow in midflight is incredibly impressive. And from that range, without looking? That's incredible, and actually bordering on OP.

Mexi says bfwr. Before? Before what, Mexi?

The room is in chaos. Everyone is fighting, and rubble is everywhere.

I switch to iron fist and puch a nearby scion so hard it leaves a dinner plate size dent in its head. I brush it aside and switch to darts, shooting a cloaked person in the back. They crumple, and I move onto my next target.

Then something slams into me. I fall, the persons dead weight falling on top of me. I hit the ground hard, the force of the impact jarring my skull.

"Hello Sprocket," Ludvic growls, pinning me down. "Fancy you dropping by." He smiles, baring his teeth. "I hate to destroy a fellow vampire, as we all know their blood is royal, but I think that Elliot considers your blood filthy enough to spill."

He draws his sword and raises it above his head. "Any last words?"

"Go die in a hole," I grunt, then I switch to aether blast and punch him hard in the gut. He flies backward, the aether waving away off him. I smile. Funny, it was Elliot who gave me access to aether. Go figure.

Seeing as my last words didn't really work, I let the arrow fly. It flew straight and fast, slamming into the man known as Ludvic. The arrow pierced his left shoulder, the head clearing the other side.

He fell to the ground with a sharp cry of pain, blood gushing from the wound. Though, he was soon back on his feet after snapping the arrow's shaft and tossing it aside, glancing around room for the person who'd punched him and the person who'd shot him.

By that time I was halfway around the room, another arrow ready. I shot once more; this time hitting the man who seemed to be in charge of the machines swarming the place. It hit him through the thigh, sending him reeling from the force.

"You lead me in a circle!"

"Sorry didn't know you've been here"

I turn from behind the desk...

"OH MY CLAAWS, ALEX!"

"Sup," he was angry but calm. how does he do it, I see his gun, looks smaller then what I have and I see next to him a girl fox almost like him

"ALEX!" I turn to the fox girl, "this is not the time for intros"

"Oh ya think?" Alex say annoyed "Lisa can I borrow that for a second?"

I give him the shotgun. he puts a bullet I don't have in there and shoots

*KABOOM*

"NOW WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON?!?!"

That's what I would like to know.

I simple stare for several sceonds, slightly unsure of what happened. I hadn't been expecting these people to have 'gifts'. I narrow my eyes slightly, studying this stranger  who seemed to be getting stranger by the minute. I pluck another arrow from the quiver and nock it, though I make no other move to shoot.

I throw open the door to the stupid animal pub, were my agets are already fight Ludvic and his friends Aw, look. An angel, a short human, and a vampire.

I draw my sword, and point it at the nearest animal.

"Give me a reason to spare your useless life." I whisper. THe animal shreiks as I suck its life force.

"Poe Allen." I yell. "Get over here."

He runs over. And the noise of my airships reaches my ears.

"We are going to escape, and then bomb the pub." I tell him.

I run up to the archer, and he shoots arrow after arrow, but I stop all of them. Eventually, he's out of arrows to shoot at me.

So here it goes again, hand to hand combat until about 4 animals burst in. Funny, they all happen to be cats. My type of cats. The cats I thought were extinct.

The archer takes my moment of suprise as an advantage, and pins me down with a knife to my throat.

"Leva Fluer Peinture Amor Courageux!" a voice shouts.

Everyone, including the archer turns, and I turn and gulp. I just heard my last name.

I hear the snap of fingers, and everything is still. Everything but me.

I crawl out of the archer's grasp and stand up, brushing myself off. I look around to notice that Leva, Sprocket, Shadow, and Icy are fine too. But everything and everyone else is suspended.

I look to the doorway to see a cat with about 3 other cats beside it.

The first cat who seemed to have stopped time storms up to Leva.

"Where have you been?" he demands.

"Saving Kyngdom," she replies sarcastically and seriously at the same time.

"Look, sir, if you don't mind, we'd kind of like to finish...." Icy says, trailing off her sentence when she sees the look on his face.

He glares at her. "Don't spurr your pathetic realizations at me, human."

Icy looks taken aback, and Sprocket steps in. "Look, we're already in a fight, and we don't want to start another one with kitties."

At the word, 'kitties,' his fur bristles, and he narrows his eyes at Sprocket.

"Sorry," Sprocket continues. "But Icy's right. We were in the middle of something."

"Look, vampire," the cat chuckles, in a way that's not that friendly. "I get that you think you're great and all, but I came here to save all of you. If you want me to leave, that's up to you. But let me just remind you that you're not going to win this one."

"How can you be so sure?" Shadow asks carefully.

"Ah, the birds have seen it," the cat replies. "They can see for miles, and many troops will be moving to this area soon."

"What?!" Icy, Shadow, and Sprocket exclaim in unison.

The cat nods, then turning to Leva.

"We have many unfinished business to go over-"

"I told you, I'm not going to do it!" Leva hisses, unsheathing her claws.

I'm taken aback, along with Shadow and everyone else. Leva has never acted this way before.

"Ah, Mina, good to see you," the cat says, ignoring Leva and turning to me. "It's been a while."

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"Ah, well, I saw you when you were young, and then I didn't see you again when your village was burned down. The rest of us evacuated to the woods, building a new empire. I'm Captain Fort. Anyway, the new empire has been steadily growing, let me tell you-"

"What?!" I shout. I briskly turn to face Leva and give her the most deadly look that I haven't given her since we were kittens. "You never told me this," I softly growl.

Leva holds her paws out in front of her and laughs nervously. "I was going to, sooner or later."

"What else have you lied to me about?" I snap.

A cat, slightly taller and older than me, with a hood on walks up to me and takes the hood off.

"Me," she says.

It's Nira.

While Mina's having some time to chit-cat with her relatives, I see a rat walk in the door.
Or maybe I should call him the king of Sailhaven
Yes, I see Elliot.
He walks briskly towards me, and pulls me into a corridor. He pulls a gag over my mouth and locks the door. No, I'm sure that thanks to my super strength and... other abilities,  I would be able to stop him, but I decide to let him inderestimate me.
"shadow, there's something I need to talk to you about."

~ Trillian

i had been sitting on the window sill, listening in on icy and the boy when I felt something tickle my shoulder. I look down, annoyed but then see it's a scion. Quick as a wink I was off of the sill and hacking away at the scion, it wasn't the only one. Outside there were dozens of the bugs and they were swarming into the inn. I start slashing through them. It takes a while but I reach the door and get inside. There, standing in the middle of the room were Icy, Leva, Sprocket, and Mina as well as well as a dozen or so cat people. Stepping forward into the light I cough lightly. They all turn to look at me and I say, "would anyone care to tell me what is going on? I just had to fight my way through a hord of scions and now it seems that the inn is overrun with cats."

With one well placed kick, I slam the door back on its hinges. I instantly step inside, keen eyes narrowing to mere slits as I scanned room. My right fist was cocked, a tanto held ready to throw. Seeing as the fight had calmed down, I turn my head around slightly, and holler out the door. "Let's go!"

With that cry, five fellow raiders streamed through the broken door, releasing a rapid onslaught of nets. They spun through the air, three of them landing on the small group of rather strange looking cats, the weighted ends instantly pulling them to the floor and trapping them. This was met with yowls and hisses of rage along with much struggling, though the metal mesh was far to strong.

I pay no attention to the other animals and their crys, simply striding toward Mina. When she saw me approaching she instantly dropped low and sent a fierce side-kick toward my head. I took a step back, grab ahold of her foot, and jerking her towards me. Before she can react, I spin her around and shove her towards Jork who was standing near by. "Take her to the airship!"

He nodded, turning around and pushing Mina toward the door while holding the barrel of his shotgun to her neck. "Yes, Captain!" Jork frogmarched her out the door, shoving her toward the ladder that led up to our airship. "Up you go! And if you try anything,  I'll blast your head off." Mina scowled, though she slowly began to climb.

By now, three men were escorting Shadow and Leva after Mina, both at gunpoint. I nod in satisfaction though I frown minutes later as I watch Sprocket knock one of my other man back, sending him sailing until he slammed into the wall. I saunter forward, waving for Hana to assist the unconscious man back to the airship.

I pause infront of Sprocket, plastering a cocky smirk on my face. "I would come with us, if I were you. I'd to see one of your friends' throats slit." I narrow my eyes as I study her; I can practically see the gears in her head spin has she thinks long and hard.

She finally gave a reclutant nod, striding out the door and toward the airship. I saunter along behind her, the tanto's tip lightly prodding her back ever so often. Sprocket growls softly, mostly in anger as she slowly climbs up the ladder.

The sudden sound of rushing footsteps very nearly saves my life, for I dodge to the left, a sword stadding through the spot that would have been my gut. I turn to face the stranger, still smirking as I recognize the archer.  With a swift flick of my wrist, the tanto is sent soaring through the air, the blade taking the man through the ribs. He fell to the ground, not dead, but wounded.

I turn on my heel, and began climbing after Sprocket.

By the time we reach the deck, Mina, Shadow, and Leva had already been tied up to a pole jutting out from the floor. Their guns and other weapons are in a pile at Jork's feet, and Hana is already at the helm, while most of my other crew members are busy talking and treating any minor wounds.

I wave my hand at Hana, and minutes later we're in the air, leaving the Bog and Burrow Inn behind as we fly off with our new hostages.
