Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board
"Once the Powers and their Ancient Guardians ruled the Kyngdom with peace, and hamony reigned throught the lands. The powers, the names of which now forgotten, reflected not only each other, bu the subjects of Kyngdom. Creatures of the sky flew above with grace, and cretures of the sea swam with the waves. All was well until a single seed of evil grew within the Kyngdom, and it grew, forcing the Guardians to retreat into their respective powers, and they chose creatures and trained them to protect the Powers. The Powers have since then been forever silent."
"That's only an ancient legend. There are no such things Starlight, you know that!" a black dragon cried out in humor, his eyes looking at his family with a mischivious glint.
"Midnight Black! You interupeted a perfectly good story!" a silver dragon cried out in vain to her husband. "And they arn't just stories. You know that just as well as I do."
"Ya Papa. They arn't just stories. And remember, I saw the light on the mountains. Mama says it's one of the powers. Can we go look at it tomorrow night? Can we?" a young dragon asked, her scales as black as her father's and as reflective as her mothers.
"Well, my young hatchling, the legend is just that a legend."
"As much as a legend as the story you told me that you met a griffin once?" his hatchling mumbles, not quiet enought for her father to miss the remark. Starlight chuckled, and as she used her tail to scoop her child and cradle her, she replied to her dumbfounded husband,"She has got you there. Legends are, after all, just legends," she said, throwing his own words back at him.
"Starlight Silver! I really did meet him! Not just any griffin, but the Girffin himself! It's not a legend! And you should know better. This sarcasm is really unjustifyed. You have never us--" Midnight covered her husband's muzzle with her paw, silencing him.
"Shh... I hear somthing," she whispered looking out toward the entrance of the cave. The bushes rustled. but nothing came out into the light. The tree dragons slowly made thier way towards the back of the cave, putting as much distance as possible between them and the entrance. Unbeknowest to them, B.I.G. had at last found thier new test subjects. Dragons.

Umm Claaws could you maybe clear up about the Power Origin? Please? You're way more levelheaded than I am and if I do it I might yell at her...

Who's to say that this is only a version or lesser truth of the real story? A story changes from person to person, and will never be told the same way twice. But by all means, re-explain.
