It's the day before the ball. B.I.G. is planning something, but no one will tell me! I ask for a day off the grounds. The answer I recover is a shrug, mutter, and 'perhaps'.

The day befor the ball. I pick out my best outfit, and fill my medicine bag with just in case supplies. If anyone is harmed, I'll be ready.

I'm wondering if I will be accepted on the WhiteCap. If not, I hope the Scallop. Do pirates go to underwater balls? Hmm. We'll have to see. It's not like you have dresses as pirate.

I will leave Sailhaven to go to an underwater ball. It's not as if i'm excited  to stay here.

The toughest thing to do is to find a tree to camp in on the beach. There! A gnarled oak tree. Perfect.

I spider up the tree as if I'd been climbing all my life, and start to set the supplies up when I feel a tickling on my back. Huh. My hair must have grown overnight, because it's long and wavy. I check my reflection in a shard of glass and discover that nobody will be able to tell me and Anwen apart anymore. Huh.

Well, when the sun sets it will be....fifteen? Twelve? Sixteen, I think--hours until the dance.

I really, really, really hope I will be chosen to be the Guardian of the Power of Fin.

Tensions are high. Everyone is worried. I think that there are a lot of competitors, all wanting the same thing--To be the Guardian.

But I know I'll do it better. I'm a dragon, fierce and strong. With my claws, I can attack and defend. I can make sure it doesn't get activated. Besides, I have really strong water powers! It's only fitting to have the Guardian of the Power of Fin use water powers.

Will it be through a vote? I wonder. Or will Zephyra and Co handpick their favorite?

Either way, I'll be praying. 

Opps. Actually Elisa has a mission for B.I.G. She has to track down Icy. But she has some, Ahhem, reasons not to. And Ranzi has been captured by pirates.

The sun sets and I find sleep quickly, nestling into it as if it is a blanket (something that I have never had. I have considered visiting the Human Markets-yes I am human-to buy one...but I can rarely find a dollar.) that is warm, soft, and safe--shelter to me.

But in the middle of the night, I am awoken by voices. I listen very carefully and recognize the voice as Alexander, a bat, and leader of The Animals (I think we should petition for them to change their name...it sounds like it represents AnimalKind. It doesn't!). "Okay...set up protection around the ball."

Uh-oh. My prank might be foiled. 

I look around in a boat, ready to jump in. After all,  i've groomed myself untile my fur coat shines, I'm wearing my best flowers.  Fireworks in my pouch in my neck.  Readying myself, I take a deep breath.  the 2 sprila stones in my pouch.  i cautaled that it would take me a 16 hours to get to the underwater place.  And so, I jump.

Okay, it's time. For the Ball.

Security is here. Where should we go? Elliot is heading to a beach southwest of the sea dome.

I sat, waiting.I was at the Muddy Marshes waiting for the airships. Won't they be here soon?

I jumped into my own personal airship, my spyro stones in one hand. As I docked near the sea. Then, I jumped in.

Are we going to the ball? Don't know, don't care... yet. We will find out who is the next guardian soon enough.

I follow the other creatures as they head toward the ball. Seeing water, I pop a spyro stone in my mouth.
