Pirates
This thread is for anybody that wants to be a pirate on the seas of Kyngdom. I will make a story-starter here, and we can build off that.
Everyone who wants to can make their own crew and boat, or you can join an already created boat.
I took a deep breath of the salty ocean air. This was my home, and I meant to enjoy it on my first day back at sea. I turned the ship Scallop around, and we set out into the waves. I had been imprisoned on land for three months, building a new ship after my old one got wreaked on the rocks in a faraway port, in a storm. But now, I was free again to plunder the seas.
I'm excited. I've never made a thread before!

The ship glides through the water, a hulking shape in the dense fog. From a distance it looks unihabitated, but a closer look shows small figures on the deck. A door opens, and out comes a young woman, obviously the captain.
She walks over to the mast, looking up and the many ropes and rigging. Calling up in a clear voice she says, "Aye there Pruit, how close are we to land?"
A thin voice warbles down to her, "About three kilometers, should take us about two hours with this wind."
The captain nods and walks back to her cabin.
Hey rae this is Sprocket!!

Lena approached the waves. She could feel them splashing around her feet. The sea air felt nice against her face. She watched a dolphin pod chitter as they played amongst the endless expanse of blue. She listened intently. The news of the ocean were that there were many ships on the ocean. There was the Scallop, a ship whose name the dolphins didn't read, and the many ships of the Sailhaven Navy.
The Scallop was the ship I wanted to join. I had sent a note for my bird to deliver. I was just waiting to see if I would get picked up. When I said ' my bird ', I know you thought of a parrot. No, I have a goldfinch. I stop and kneel by the waves. A fish just swam up, with news of a ship nearing the beach. Could it be the Scallop, or some other ship? The fish also brought a pearl bracelet.I smiled. A perfect gift for acceptance on a pirate ship.

I see the land, a vague shape in the distance. The fog had burned off, and visibility had increased. The wind was in our favor, sailing north-northwest and 10 knots.
Torin runs up to me, coming from the mast. "News has come form the crows nest, Captain. There is a person on the shore, on the east side."
I sigh. Why do random castaways always have to show up at the most inconvientate times? They always made things more diffucult.
"Swing around to the east and drop anchor near the island. I guess we'll just have to see who it is."
hey Lena, the person is supposed to be you. you decide what happens next.

Hey Lena and Natali, I'm sorry if you guys have already continued this story.
I steered the Scallop into the small bay. There was another ship following me, and I wanted to be the one to have the girl named Lena on my crew. These days, people who want to be pirates are running short. When you find someone who is actually eager to be a plunderer, and on a specific ship too, the only thing you can do is run right up and grab them. Not literally, of course. I called out for the ladder to be let down, and it rolled and clunked alond the side of the ship. "Ahoy down there!" I shouted. "Please, come aboard!" The figure looked up and waved. Then it grabbed the ladder and scaled the rungs inceredibly quickly. When the dark shape (it was night,) reached the deck, I looked at it's face. It most definetly wasn't human. I stared. Of course, being a pirate, one does see many strange things, but hardly any as strange as this. It had a very long nose, and tiny ears. It's feet were like a ducks, webbed and large. It had long, shaggy fur all over it's face and body. And it's arms were the strangest. They were like a T-Rex's! To tell the sad truth, it scared me. "L-lena?" I stuttered. The thing growled and lunged at me! I whipped out my sword and slashed at it, but it doged. Some of my crew tried to hit it over the head with ropes and such things, but the monster simply shook these things off like the threats were simply annoying flies. I, the famed and feared Pirate Queen of the high seas, was terrified.
If anyone knows what this awful creature is, please tell me it's name, and the proper way to beat it. Plus, what happened to Lena?!

I see a ship coming towards the shore. It's called the WhiteCap. I can tell it's not from the Sailhaven Navy, so it must be the other ship the dolphins were talking about. I stand staring, blue hair covering one purple eye. The ship swings towards me and drops anchor. It might not be the scallop, the ship I was waiting for, but it's as good as any, I think. I stand there as the ship drops it's anchor, my goldfinch on my shoulder. The captian, or who i'm assuming is the captian, walks onto the shore. She was young, maybe in her late twenties.
As she approaches, she seems surprised to see how young I was. I wait for her to come up. " Hello," I say," I'm Lena. I would like to join your ship. I may prove to be more useful than I seem." I hand her the pearl bracelet hoping that will help persuade her to let me join.

Lena right now is trying to join the WhiteCap, and is not the strange hairy thing.

Just an idea, maybe the White Cap took Lena, and left the monster for me to find, hoping that it would kill me. After all, we are pirates!

I sink into the shadows, watching the ships pass by. When the second ship comes a white beast attacks. It looks like- suddenly, I glance down where Klini (Pronounced Clean-EE) is suposed to be. Klini? I groan. Klini is off on another one of his random attacks, this one is at a ship!!! I softly growl, my signal for Klini to come. He looks at the ship, then at me, and finnally gives up. He trots over, tail drooping. Klini is a white Montonese. A Jaguar type beast. I found him, or rather he found me, when I was stranded here. He's guarded me ever since. There was another person on this island, but she didn't seem too friendly. My camp was invaded by here and I had to restart. I have now hidden in the cave behind the waterfall. "I hope no more ships come by," I say to my companion. "You get too crazy over them." Little do I know, I've jinxed us.
Sidenote: Can one of the pirate ships capture me while I am sleeping? I'm a girl if you didn't know.

Hi Ranzi $, is your friend Klini the one who attacked my ship? If so, they owe me an extra crew member!!!
I flop down on the deck, exhausted. One of the crew runs up and hands me a drink of water. " Thank you so much!" I say. Then I look down, off the side of the ship. I see two small figures laying down. They are well hidden, but nothing escapes my keen pirates eye. " Wait," I say. " Dont go out to sea yet." " What?" One of the sailors asks. "Why cant we go out? Im getting that itch I get when we arent moving." I tell him that I see two figures. His reaction is pleasing. "Oh, oh. Im so sorry, sorry. Of course." I smile. Then, I jump off the side, scaring him greatly. I shimmy down the rope, and sneak into the tiny camp. I take the rope and two bundels of cloth, for gags. Luckily for me, they are both sound sleepers. Once I have the gags in place in thier mouths, I slowly take out the rope. I throw it over the hairy body, first, then I ease it around the other ones waist. Suddenly, I draw it tight and wind them up together. Obviously, they are awake now, and struggling, but no matter. They are bound tight, nothing they can do about it! I drag them bak to the ship, sooooo slowly. They are quite heavy. Finally, the same sailor as before helps me tie them to more ropes and drag them up the Scallop's side.
If anyone wants to be this sailor, feel free!
