This is a roleplay about my home village in the northern forests. It will be similar to Elliott's SailHaven post. Now, a bit of info... I hail from a small village referred to only as "The Nest." We are a species of upright catlike creatures who hunt with their claws and other weapons. We trade with other villages, so feel free to write your story from the standpoing of another trader as well as a villager. Once you have learned towalk and talk,you are out of the Nursery. Then, you study in battle and will recieve a bit of schooling. Once that is complete, you are free to live with your family. Once you have lived 200 Moons (about 15 Earth years) you and the other trainees who are of age complete the coming of age ceremony, involving walking under a waterfall, bathing in the ice cold lake and fishing in the wild alone for a night, you return a well-respected member of the village. From there you have the right to do what you want, to fight, to mate, to lead, (we have some system of politics, as far as electing a new leader.), or to leave for another part of Kyngdom. Your stories can start at any part of your life in the Nest or as a trader, or visitor (We haven everyone except humans we do not trust.) Schooling may go on as long as wanted or needed, and traders stay for days in the village, camping. We hunt small woodland creatures, and pixie dust is highly valued as we use it feed our young to help them grow faster. Have fun on this roleplay! Also, if you would like to start wars and such, make sure everyone agrees, and legends are permitted. (We do make burnt offerings to some deities.)

This is really cool Kaira! I like the idea of an unknown/different dwelling, as I hail from SailHaven. I was wondering if all of the people had to upright cats, or if we could have different species intermingle. What does it take to get a human to trust you?

Sure! Not all the people have to be upright cats, it just means you weren't born in the village. And to get a human to trust us, well in the RP we only trust the ones who we know don't belong to BIG or dont act strangely, but a human can write on the RP. Are you from big? If so, just crreate a new character or something. Some BIGs we trust, as they're friendly and we dont really have anything valuable. Genearally though, refugees of any kind are welcome. We've taken in humans before.

Dear Sprocket, Not all people in the village have to be cats, as many species live with us, mostly outcasts or refugees. To get a human to trust us means you have to be not one of the bigs, or not a spy, or youve been aorund since before BIG was established, but generally those from sailhaven tend to be friendly, as we have nothing valuable, and have never had any wars. Actually, my cousins spent some time in SailHaven after they left the village. You seem pretty trustworthy. This is an RP, soit would be no use to do any spying, so you can be part of the village, provided you come to us with a back story before you just land here.

I leave the treetop cabin I sleep in, my best friend and roommate Lilac at my side. My bow is slung upon my back, as is my quiver. My gray eyes are shining with excitement. Lilac is as excited as I, and we head to where the other cats coming of age are standing. It's a small group, us and two others. Others are waiting to watch us, our family and friends and just about everyone else. What felt like an eternity passed, then finally the Leader and our teachers arrived.
I stood in front of it, all eyes on me. I know it's simple. ' Just walk right through ', they told us. But It fell like rain, in solid sheets you could barely see through. I squeeze my eyes shut and walk to the other side of the waterfall, where Galin was waiting for me and the others. Galin was also coming of age, with yellow eyes and his gray fur. Then Lilac steps through, shaking out her wet snow white fur. She opens her eyes, which are vibrant green. They are glittering with pride. After awhile, Aaron comes in. He looks relieved. He has ginger fur like me, but with blue eyes.
If anyone wants to be Lilac, Galin, or Aaron go ahead. You can change what they look like.

APPEARANCE: A small Asian girl with black hair and greeen eyes. Quick and light. Usually wears a tunic and leggings made of linen
PERSONALITY: Very quiet and shy. Can slip through the trees like a shadow.
HOME: Northern Forest, refugee area
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: The heart of the forest

BACKGROUND: Her and her father were driven out of their home country by a rival clan. They fled to the Northern Forest along with the other refugees. They live in a part on the outskirts of the settlement. Her father has developed a serious lung sickness and will die without a certain and rare plant.
