Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

This RP is

This RP is going to be about the last Power war, and our special little boy king.

Only a few rules on this one.

In the end the Powers and Catastrophe must die. The Powers die in this order:

Cealani, Ayearth, Eico, Sylvia, Lunee, Cellist, Claaws and Catasrophe. Claaws and Catastrophe basically both die at the same time, Claaws kills him, but he was covered in the Brazen goo so Claaws dies too.

The animals of the forest are immune to the Brazen goo, but once the Powers die and some of their Powers find other hosts, those hosts are not so Brazen goo is exiked to be guarded by a village of humans in the desert. This is also by where the Power of Fin is in the caves in the sand.

Rule number two, no changing the Power Origin story.

Rule number three, the animals are mostly not on the Powers side, there are some though who side with them. But no humans side with the Powers. Only Cellist (Ugg! Stupid autocorrect! You all know who I mean by this.), who is a fairy and maybe evolves into a human....we still haven't agreed on this.

Catastrophe is a boy king. So he is the king of Kyndom untill Claaws kills him. How he became the king is still undetermined.

The Powers are guarded by six animals, who are the animals that the Powers could turn into. These animals are evil like Catastrophe and assigned by Catstrophe. Each has a reason of why they hate the Powers. Sometime in the centuries that follow, the guardians forget what they're guarding, only that if they realease the magical creature inside it will reak havoc on Kyndom, and to NEVER let them get activated. This was told by the crow guardian. The guardians also over time forgot that they sided with the humans, and now they are enemies.

Jaaws was hidden in a cave at this time, and maybe visited Catastrophe to make him evil, and maybe ruled Kyndom through him. You guys can decide that.

You can play as any charrie, whether it's your own ancestors or the Powers or Catasrophe or Jaaws, and this will go on all the way untill Catastrophe dies and what becomes of Kyndom after. I will be playing as Claaws, but feel free to add on and be Claaws for this, just post under your own charrie's name so we all do not get confused. Hopefully this will shape Kyndom as we know it, and form the hystory. (Like how I used the y instead of an i like Kyndom? :) :)

The last rule is to have FUN! I will post a comment tomorrow morning.

I hope this makes Kyndom more interesting for all you bored Kyndomers!

This thread is officially dying.

Yeah... There's not that much to add, though. I feel like writing about the Powers is above my level, like a restricted area or something you're promised to get when you're older. It doesn't change the fact that this is an important thread, but there's not much I can do.

I guess I'll just...add....on....

~Ecio

I pace and pace and pace. I felt something moveing in my bones. Releasing something into the world. Anger. Earthquakes. Death. Destruction. I dont care of that now. We are all going to die! Death death death destruction. And. Its. All. Her. Fault. I turn on "Claaws", my eyes narrowing and my breath coming out in snorts like an enraged beast. She slipped past me and obsereved everyone else. "We should introduce ourselves to Catastrophe right away. But in our new forms. And new names. We cannot give ourselves away, or else Catastrophe will wound us. We have to get on his good side. Become his best commanders. You got that? Ecio?'

I snarled in responce, and felt my bones moving and rattling inside, crashing, moveing, building. Making.

~Caelani

"I'll go out west." I cawed, spreading my wings. "I'll introduce myself to thier greatest city over there. Win the trust of the west."

"And I, I will go to Catastrophe myself and show him my power. I will be one of his best generals in no time. Ayearth, I'll need yur help." It took the serpent to relize that she was talking to him. Its going to take us awhile to get used to these names. "The rest of you, fan out. Head to the west and south, and other mid cities you find on the way. I'll meat you back here three days from now. Good luck. Our fate is resting on each of your shoulders."

With her final word I opned my wings and hobbled, with a struggle, into the air. I shook my head and glided out into the forest.

I remember thinking half-way through the flight that I should transform into myself. It would be faster. But no, I have to conceal myself. My true form.

The closest city seemed fine as I landed on the gate. But when I fluttered past it, I smelt the smoke. The whole city was ablaze. I cawed in shock as a gaurd threw a spear at the fire, which of course sizzled up and died. Then the fire swept over to the man and swallowed him.

Thats when I realized. Not fire. Pheonix.

Her yellow eyes and firey wings the exact opposit of Whist. Rage and silent furry. They were close freinds at some point, the pheonix was made only a few years before Whist....I think. They both dissapeared together. We just recently herd of Whist's death, and aperently so did she.

Her yellow eyes spotted me and sent a jet of flames at me. I doged, snikering. "It's going to take more then that, bird-brain!"

I summonded my magic again and let it un-transform me. Soon I was a gryphon, the gryphon, hovering in the air like a silent shadow. Her eyes narrowed and she bellowed over the smoke, "YOU KILLED HER!"

Wow, she sounded just like Ayearth, the day we killed his sideaffected power. It was for his own good. "No." I growled through the smoke. "But I promis I'll kill you."

I look at my challenger. The one who killed the only friend I had ever had in my lifetime.

Caelani throws something at me with powerful claws, but I dodge it. Every time Caelani comes nearer, I make my fire hotter.

And then I realize what is happening.

I am regernerating.

I swoop away, flying as fast as my wings will carry me, back to the place where the forest was on fire. When I finally lose Caelani, I collapse on a cliff and pass out.

~Caelani

I lept into the air for her, talons outstreatched, reaching for her firey wings. As I did, her eyes went wide and she ducked, heading towards a mountain.

"Oh, not so fast, Aya." I growled, diving after her.

I caught her by her wings and we plummited to the ground. With a loud thump and the spray of embers and ashes, we lay on the fire-streaked ground.

She shook her head and I felt her wing muscles ripple with the effort of trying to get up. I snarled, baring my teeth, and closed my jaws around her neck.

Suddenly there was a roar, and a large manticore came bursting from the shadows. I lifted my head and loosed my grip long enough for Aya to fling me off and fly into the air.

Without glancing at the strange new beast, I lept into the air after her and sank my claws into her back. I did so with such force that I slammed her back to the ground. That's when I felt talons, hard crule talons, rake down my wings. I roared in pain and fuiry, his talons must be covered in the only posion that I'm not amune to.

I flipped around and lept onto the beast. His yellow eyes peiced into my sole, eating away my insanity.

He kicked me off with strong hind quarters, the slim claws peircing into my soft stomich. I cawed in agony and landed with a loud thump in the fire of the city. I dizzly shook my head and tryed to stagger to my feet, but the fire was strong and the smoke was messing with my sences.

I saw the shape of the manticore stalking towards me, and managed to stammper, "wh-who are you."

He laughed, a cold menacencing sound. "We are Leptomoris." He arched his tail, full with deadly poison. "I am your SideAffected Power of poison."

I shook my head. When I felt pain for the first time, when I was poisoned, I created a sideaffected power? I saw the fire lift off into the sky a ways behind Leptomoris. No not fire, pheonix.

I couldn't let her get away. No, not again.

With a mighty sound of my voice, the smoke curled around me and sized the bird in the air. She faultered, being forced back by my wind. She turned just as Leptomoris was leaping into the air for the death blow.

Fire escaped from her beak, ingulfing the large manticore. His roar of agoney could probably be heard all the way from here to estern kyndom. His stilhought was black against the burning embers, and I quickly drew my wings up to sheild my eyes. His cry faded long before the wave of fire ceased.

When the fire had faded, I drew back my wings to a burning forest. A tree cracked and splintered to the ground in a heap of embers. I looked around for the manticore, but all I found was ashes and embers.

Not so immortal now, Leptomoris?

I looked to the sky and found Aya, her feathers glowing with new life and eyes with new perpouse.

"I may have killed one of my own in the process of being re-boren, but now I have the strenght to kill you."

More fire erupted from her beak, but not as stronge as the heatwave from before.

I dodged it and flew into the air, wings beating to meet Aya talon-first in talon-to-talon combat.

She swiped at my wings and I ducked under her, twisting to jab my talons at her soft under-feathers. She cawed in pain, lifting her wings to reveal a section that the fire didn't cover.

Her weak point.

She flipped and caught my face with her talon, thrusting me back a few feet in the air. I roared and charged, talons outstreached for her wings.

She twisted and I caught the fire-free part and ripped the flesh with one mighty tare. She cryed in dissbeilife as I ripped her left wing clearly off. The fire on her left side slowly faded as she plummited to the ground.

I dropped the wing, which was slowly turning to embers and ashes. Then I dived after her.

She landed with a sickening crack on the ash and ember striken earth. I pulled up and landed smoothly over the pheonix, one talon pressing her neck.

"What did I promis?" I growled, pressing harder.

She chocked and sputtered, her side slowly mealting and curling to ashes. "Y-you prommised nothing! I'll revenge....I'll revenge....."

I pressed down harder on her throat then closed my talons, slicing her head clean off her body.

All at once the once beautiful pheonix reduced to ashes and dieing embers. I stepped back, proud of my days work.

"You'll revenge nothing."

"But someone else will..."

The embers sang the tune, almost like the wind was just blowing through the trees.

"Who else can?"

"Who else will?"

~Catastrophe

I step through the burnt rubble of the once beautiful tree city. A tree splintered and fell behind me, and my hourse whinnyed in responce. "Which Power can create fire?" I tisked, my tounge clicking off my teeth. But the answer was in my head long before I asked myself the question. "Only the Power of Destruction can do something like this. Dragon."

Slowly, I made my way to what looked like a battle sene. There was scraped and marks in the earth and trees. And there were piles and piles of large amounts of ashes and dieing embers. "Who tried to stop Dragon here?" I wondered allowed. "It couldn't have been my men. They couldn't make piles of ashes that large."

A recent memory crossed my mind. Of the large owl, Whist, and her possesed beasts that could do her bidding. If I hadn't killed her, I would've assumed this was her work.

Then another thought crossed my mind.

"Could it have been Jaaws and the ones she posseses?"

I slowly made my way to the closest pile. Without second thought, I reached in and emideatly felt something hard. I pulled it out, and found it was the poisonus barb of a squerpion tail. But so large that it was the size of my forearm. I reached in again, and pulled out a sharp, curved, almost soward looking object. I fingered it and found an amber liquid seeping from it. "Could it bee?" I whispered, remembering the amber liquid that had hurt Gryphon.

I looked around the burnt city again. A large feather flouted from the air, burnt at the tips and blooded at the base. I snached it from the air and examinded it. "Gryphon. It was a battle with Gryphon, not Dragon."

I pocketed the feather and examened the soward again. No, not soward. "Claw."

Had it been a battle with Dragon, Gryphon, and one other? Whoever this belonged to.

I reached back in the heap of ashes and pulled out another claw, seeping with the poison that hurt Gryphon. I turned around, and spotted my horse. "Misilanius, come here. I need you to carry this."

My old friend, and trusted steed, came trotting up obediantly. I but the two claws across her back, and she shook her main like it was no effort. "Gryphon did this?" She asked.

"Yes. Gryphon and Dragon."
"Gryphon will pay for what he did the FrostStone." She neighed deep in her throat.

"One day." Catastrophe agreed, thrusting more claws filled with poison onto her back. "One day soon."

Important Question!

In the time when the tunnel flooded, the badger that guarded the Power of Claw seemed to like Grondor. Do we have an explanation?

Um, er, umm maybe they guarded Eico together and became friends? Or maybe the badger is thousands of years old, and knew Grondor before?

Or.... * idea slowly forms in mind *
What if Grondor is the only side-affected Power that didn't die?
A side-affected Power and a guardian would make sense. I really like that idea!

*gasp* what if he was barried in the Labrynth tunnles for a thousand years and they just sent him free?! And *gasps again* maybe the badger was the one who barried him? For some reason that slipped his mind because he was so old (but maybe because he finally saw that Grondor was against the Powers and he was for?

Yes! I love that!

Sorry you guys. With the holidays and my dancing schedule, I've missed a lot. Really sorry, Claaws!!!!!

Where should I start? :)

YAY! You dance too!? I LOVE dance! *pauses* Ya I'm crazy, have a problum with that?!

Anywho, Thankyou very much, Arra, and Grondor, you read Icy and I's converstation? Maybe you could wake up, meet the badger (he must be youngish) maybe give him an immortality thingymobob so he survives thousands of years...

Oh yes, that idea. So maybe since Grondor can go to the past, maybe he can reverse time as well? As in, make something imortal or have a long lifespan (by thousands of years). Tell me what ya all think!

Anyway, back to dancing. What dance do you do? Do you compeat? I recently had to give the season up *sighs sadley* because I strained my I-T band. It took like three months for us to actually go to a doctor and figure out what it was. At first they thought it was a ligament, then a bone, then a nerve. They also thought it was from rugby, but noooo. Just because rugby's a tough sport doesn't mean allll injurys happen that way. Also, some advice is corss train, or else your I-T band will get all messed up. *looks crossly down at leg* Do you want to know what else I've done in dance? I sprained my ACL...twice...no...three times. Twice left one right, sprained and tweeked my ankle many times, I've also sprained a nerve (don't ask) and sprained my heel (you read that right). Don't ask me how, but I managed to.

*suddenly imagens a large black dragon dancing* hum. That would be intresting if I was a dragon in real life. *laughs dryly* how do you know I'm not?

*gasp*

Coolio! Yeah, I read your conversation. Good ideas!

Oohhh....sorry. Ouch. I do Irish Dance, and I do compete. :)

The only thing I've ever done is sprain my left...no right ankle once, when I was like 6. And I got Pereoneal Tendinitos in the right side of my right ankle once, but that was from overuse. Unfortunately it was right before a competition...argh.

How do you sprain a......wow. okay...I won't ask. XD

Lol. That WOULD be funny... *Le gasp*
