Kyngdom Survival Guide

Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board

This RP is

This RP is going to be about the last Power war, and our special little boy king.

Only a few rules on this one.

In the end the Powers and Catastrophe must die. The Powers die in this order:

Cealani, Ayearth, Eico, Sylvia, Lunee, Cellist, Claaws and Catasrophe. Claaws and Catastrophe basically both die at the same time, Claaws kills him, but he was covered in the Brazen goo so Claaws dies too.

The animals of the forest are immune to the Brazen goo, but once the Powers die and some of their Powers find other hosts, those hosts are not so Brazen goo is exiked to be guarded by a village of humans in the desert. This is also by where the Power of Fin is in the caves in the sand.

Rule number two, no changing the Power Origin story.

Rule number three, the animals are mostly not on the Powers side, there are some though who side with them. But no humans side with the Powers. Only Cellist (Ugg! Stupid autocorrect! You all know who I mean by this.), who is a fairy and maybe evolves into a human....we still haven't agreed on this.

Catastrophe is a boy king. So he is the king of Kyndom untill Claaws kills him. How he became the king is still undetermined.

The Powers are guarded by six animals, who are the animals that the Powers could turn into. These animals are evil like Catastrophe and assigned by Catstrophe. Each has a reason of why they hate the Powers. Sometime in the centuries that follow, the guardians forget what they're guarding, only that if they realease the magical creature inside it will reak havoc on Kyndom, and to NEVER let them get activated. This was told by the crow guardian. The guardians also over time forgot that they sided with the humans, and now they are enemies.

Jaaws was hidden in a cave at this time, and maybe visited Catastrophe to make him evil, and maybe ruled Kyndom through him. You guys can decide that.

You can play as any charrie, whether it's your own ancestors or the Powers or Catasrophe or Jaaws, and this will go on all the way untill Catastrophe dies and what becomes of Kyndom after. I will be playing as Claaws, but feel free to add on and be Claaws for this, just post under your own charrie's name so we all do not get confused. Hopefully this will shape Kyndom as we know it, and form the hystory. (Like how I used the y instead of an i like Kyndom? :) :)

The last rule is to have FUN! I will post a comment tomorrow morning.

I hope this makes Kyndom more interesting for all you bored Kyndomers!

(Jaaws is a girl, just so y'all know.) So, I've been busy lately; that's why my posting has been minimal to none at all. I don't have time to read all these posts as of now, but I read a few, and I do hope to find time soon to plop down and just read all the new stuff. Here is Jaaws's beginning! *Ominous music*

Jaaws~

Conciousness hit the being like a waterfall. The half-alive blob of tar had felt freedom rushing at her; could sense it flying forwards like a falcon swooping for light at the end of a cave; seen the light and anticipated it. And suddenly, in the frame of a milisecond, it was there.

The midnight blob immediately attempted moving. Instantly its body swelled, taking the form of a small black dragon. The being grinned. This was its new body.

It looked down, and with delight it realized that it could see. It gazed at its serrated claws. Claws...Claaws? Something seemed familiar about that word.

Another jolt and the dragon discovered her ability to think. Had she always been able to use her mind like this? It seemed so natural, as if she'd done it a thousand times, for her whole life, and yet...She thought about it more, and deduced that the sensation was completely new, but with no fine line between when the ability was granted to her and the time before.

She drew herself up to her full height. Her scales felt wonderful, rubbing harshly against each other every time she moved. She could move! It was amazing, and the fact that she could feel-- feel the grass between her talons; feel her slick tail swish across the ground; feel her muscles move for the first time ever--made her feel good.

A strange force drove her to suck air into her lungs. When she was still a ball of tar, she had absorbed oxygen through the membrane that held her together. This new...breathing...was significantly more efficient.

The dark dragon could sense things in the air. Somehow, she could tell what each one was. Squirrel. Apple. Saltwater. The smells washed over her. They flowed over her tongue, and it reacted to the tainted air, bringing a firework of flavor to her mouth.

But this creature was not innocent. It was not playful; it was not kind. It was not loving. It had no good inside of it, no sun, and no desire for anything warm or caring. It needed no mother. No one to show it the way. It--that is, she--looked up, and in her ruby red eyes, a feeling stirred. Not rage. Not hatred. A malice. A darkness. A burning desire to destroy.

Instinctively the dragon knew what her mission was. Somehow, since she shared a connection with them, she knew of the Powers, Kyngdom, and how they had brought her existence about. The thoughts came individually, with precision, and they fit right into the monster's mind as if they had always been there. In a way, they had been.

Then came the knowledge of Claaws. Ahh. So that is what I was remembering, the dragon realized. Then she grinned. Claaws. I really must thank her. One way or another, I will find her. And when I do, I will sincerely thank her as Kyngdom falls around her ears.

~Claaws

Claaws patrolled the forest, watching the animals scurry away from her in fear. She smiled wickedly, Her teeth curling from her lips and shimmering in the moonlight. She ditched to woods for surviving humans, even one can find a way to rebuild the list city into something worst then the one before. Lunee had stormed away after their little chat, and after a few hours of rising and turning, Claaws had flown away into a forest near the burned village.

Claaws paused for a second as she heard a voice, a wolf like voice. Then a smaller one, almost...human...

She erupted from the trees, snarling as she saw the human child. Next to him was a wolf pack, snarling in Claaws' wake. "Well, well, well. What do we have? A survivor by any chance? Well they will be no survivors. Even a human child like yourself can rebuild a human city, even worse then the one before. No human shall stay alive."

Claaws prepaied to lundge, then paused to add on, "and any animals who opose will parish with the humans." She stopped her Claaws and prepared to lift off for a death blow, as a voice like honey came whispering through the dark trees. "Would you kill your own sister in your thirst for revenge?"

Claaws relaxed, watching her sister's form move closer from the darkness of the trees. "Depends. Which side are you on?"

"The right side. It's no use killing small humans. If you wish to clean the earth of their pollution, kill the human who causes this. Not the innocent lives who happen to be living in one of the pollution makers. Kill the ones who are evil."

Claaws laughed lightly. "They are all evil, sister. And if you can't see that, then maybe I will kill you. For Siding with the evil ones. You can fire with the ones you think are innocent. You can be evil like them. But I will still you, before you get too far."

Claaws opened her mouth and engulfed the wolves and human in black flames. "Your the evil one, Claaws! Have you not seen what you have become!"

Claaws growled, tensing her muscles, spread her Claaws, and lunged.

Also Claaws had entered the caves, and I need Jaaws to respond to it next. I wrote on 10 and 11, whenever you have time, Thimble, can you respond?

I would like to clear up one tiny detail. It's about the guardians. In my story, the animals loved the Powers, so when they died, the animals that they ruled guarded the Powers and their instruments. They didn't side with Catastrophe. That's all. I know in your story, Claaws, it's a bit different, but that's just how my story goes, and since it won the poll and is the official Power Origin Story, I think we should go with it. Thanks for understanding. And, by the way, I love the idea! I'll post from Lunee's point of veiw a bit later.

Oh, I'm so sorry! It's just...Zahyra said that the instrument was never to be activated or else the magical creature inside would destroy Kyngdom. So I kind of got from that that the guardains thought the Powers were bad. Also, if they thought the Powers were good, wouldn't they have activated them sooner? Or at least let someone activate them?

My capacha say oofo. Is that capatcha language for sorry too? Or did it just fall down the stairs?

Oh, no need to be sorry. I think the animals waited because they knew they would need the powers later in war, or when Kyngdom had some other great need. But, since Caelani is sort of evil like Claaws, he is the one who would do the most rampaging, and therefore, Zephyra would have been told never to let him out. As for the other powers, they can be a bit confused at first, but once someone talks to them, clears things up, especially a PowerFriend, their usually fine. How's that?

It makes so much more sense! How about the guardian of Claaws was told that too, because she was basically the one who started the war (also she's evil) and they didn't want her activated because she might continue it....

But how about they didn't activate the Powers because they wanted the war to stop, but after the war was over the animals forgot about the Powers, they just knew that they needed to keep the instruments safe and by playing them, something would be realeased. But only Cealani and Claaws' guardains were told never to activate the instruments. Does that sound okay?

Since Ayearth doesn't really do much, what should I do?

Just write what you want him to do. Sure he does a lot, just under the water where none sees him. I wonder what he does down there....(write about it!)

Oh! One more thing--We need to decide a...I don't know a good word--not rank, but a title of sorts--for Jaaws. I never imagined Jaaws as a Power. She didn't help create Kyngdom, she wants to tear it down; therefore, she is the opposite of a Power.  So is she a different Power? Or something entirely new? She stands in complete opposition to the Powers--and she doesn't really create any good things for animals to have; she just turns them evil.

Well in myths and legends I wrote stuff about side-affected powers, and they are created when a power accidentally uses their Power wrong; there is only one known one, it has the owl controlling the silver beasts, that was created by Sylvia when she tried making another Power. I was thinking Jaaws could be a side-affected Power? All side-affected powers want is to destroy the Power that their creator had. So the owl destroyed the lives of animals. Jaaws destroyed Kyngdom because well, greed is inside of everything.

So it's just an idea, so tell me if you like!

My capacha says tbgw. Do you mean to be determined? That's right, my idea is to be determined. I wonder if my captcha has a name....I also wonder if I'm spelling captcha right...
