SailHaven is my home city. It is a floating city, with a network of tunnels, allowing crime syndicates to evolve. The scientists there mostly develop implants, like blades in arms, or wearable tech, like monicles with lenses for seeing in the dark and stuff like that. I got exiled after creating blades that could be installed in arms, but they worked like a cat's claws, and could be hidden completely. After several assassinations, they had to punish me for making them.

((ok um, i don't really know whats going on, but here goes!))
i am making a new weapon on my AICAM (Artificial Intelligence Cat Atack Mech) the weapon is a LSB (Laser Shooting Boomerang) when my phone rings i pick it up. "GET OUT HERE ALTER"yelled the voice,my.favorite.,its goverment agent ode."THERE'S SCIONS EVERYWHERE" "uh-oh" i say and jump into my AICAM "luckily,i have a AICAM with a LSB" i zoom out of the lab laser engines roaring.

Ok, this is a high fantasy world, and there are no phones. It is also steampunk, so you may want to wikipedia steampunk to understand more.

Gared, hold on. Kyngdom is in the Present. It's taking place around 2016--I confuse it for midevil sometimes too. So why not phones!?

Steampunk is fantasy. it is inspired by victorian tech. If you want to argue, I am fine. But phones are not vicorian tech, right?

You are immortal, and you never age. New vampires can decend into madness. Think of it oike surgical shock. You don't need to suck people's blood.

I have been looking for Sprocket for a long time. Suddenly, I see her. I run up to her and call out, "Sprocket!" She looks at me. "I am now a vampire." She says in a sad voice. "I am still Sprocket, but changed, a little." I am shocked. "Can we still be friends?" "Of course."

As she rounds up criminals and other rough citizens, I notice something. Sprocket has... sharp... canine... teeth? "Sprocket?" I say slowly. She suddenly begins hyperventalating. "Is thou a..." She clutches her head. "Vampire?!" She turns torward me and lunges. "WHA-!!!" There's no time to speak. Just RUN!!!! I stumble. She stands over me. I freeze. Then she stops. She shakes her head as if she's confused. "Sprocket?" I say softly. She turns to me. "Celia?" she says, seeing me pressed upon the ground. "What...what just happened?"

Wait... do I actually do that? I don't want to be the fictional vampire that is blood crazy and freaks out. I just want to be Sprocket, with a few vampire changes maybe.

It is not that you go intoa bloodcraze, but after you change, some vampires with a darker complection go insane. Not all do, howeaver.

The fight is getting tiring. The scions just keep coming, and endless wave of insect like creatures. No matter how many I cut down there are still more.
I bare my teeth at one and it faints. Obviously they are really afraid of vampires. I laugh and keep fighting.
Suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my leg. A scion had attached it's mouth onto my calf and was digging it's sharp teeth into my leg. I yelled and killed it. Then I fell.
