That night, I ran across to Elliot's house. I saw someone inside, so I waited patiently.

"Find the red crystal," I heard his voice.  A girl no older than me rushed out the door and brushed past me. I was bewildered and slightly hurt, but I set on a unperceviable face and walked on.

"Elliot." I said respectively. He nodded.

"I have info. Apparently, Octavia is known to be heading towards the Crying Caverns!" 

I decided that night to go roof hopping on the castle. Technically this was illegal, but who cared.

I jump and jump and jump, listening to little bits of conversation and things. Then I hear something different.

It was Elliots voice. "Go and find the red crystal."

I realize I had gone farther than I thought, and that I was in the royal quarters. I scale the wall down to the window and poke my head in. A girl was entering, and the shadow of another person was just leaving.

I went back up to the roof and saw a girl with metal wings fly out of a castle window. I follow her. 

As i fly silently over the city twoards the slum district i realized that i was being followed. turning my monicle to night vision i scan the rooftops below me... There! its the girl i saw erlier that was having trouble with a gang. i keep flying landing at the entrance to the tunnel. the sun was just rising and i see the girl. turning i enter the tunnel. if she wants, she can follow. as i slip silently through the tunnel i can still hear the girl behind me. i unsheath my blades just in case and turn on the x-ray setting. there, far off into the tunnels almost beond the range of my lens is a glint of red but i could also see dark shadows lurking not too far ahead. i stop and turn around catching the girl with the metal arm off guard. "if you are going to turn back, now would be a good time, the things that guard the relic of blood are just up ahead"

She huffed quietly. It appeared no one was there... however, off in the distance, there appeared to be a lot of commotion. Was something going down?

"Kids these days." she whispered silently. 

"Piper and Gossamer, is that correct? I need to talk." I yell out my window.

I smile. Then I whistle. Hard. The girl laughs. "What was that for?" She asks. Then we hear footsteps. Big, loud footstrps. The girl look around in alarm, letting me go. Then a dark shape comes into veiw. The shape reveals itself to be a huge metal dog the size of a small elephant.

"This," I say," is my protection. 

I glare at the metal arm girl. "i need to do this alone, i was employed to do get the relic to Elliot and i intend to do so without you tagging along taking all of the credit" i turn and keep walking down the tunnels. "if you want, wait for me at the tunnel entrance, then we can talk."
