SailHaven(I

SailHaven

(I will do an explaination, then people can add to the story.)

SailHaven is my home city. It is a floating city, with a network of tunnels, allowing crime syndicates to evolve. The scientists there mostly develop implants, like blades in arms, or wearable tech, like monicles with lenses for seeing in the dark and stuff like that. I got exiled after creating blades that could be installed in arms, but they worked like a cat's claws, and could be hidden completely. After several assassinations, they had to punish me for making them.

I am really exited

I run back to my warehouse and lock the door behind me. My automatons look at me funny, but I ignore them and run to my workbench. I initiate lockdown and watch and the aether infused metal sheets cover every opening.

After I check that evertything is secure, I go back to my bench, and take an object out of my pocket. I had found it on the floor after the time machine had exploded. It was obviously a piece, and probably the one that could repair the time machine. And I had stolen it.

Hey guys, sorry that I left for a while. It's just that Elisa went to B.I.G., Wiseowl is, well heading to the ball, and my other characters don't know anything about Sail Haven except that Elliot attacked Rae's ship.

@Rae  Here is a list to my characters on Kyngdom. Would you like the Chatter box ones too?

~Wiseowl

~Elisa

~Celia

~Ranzi

~Graycie

@Elliot I'm bored. Perhaps  one of my characters will come here. I chose Celia, she's the mermaid. And she wants to become an apothecary.

Sure. It is over Kyngdom, and I have big plans. You can join again.

I am drawn away from my staring by Cobalt sniffing at my arm. I reach down and rub him between the ears, the place he likes to be rubbed. Suddenly I have an idea. What if I grafted, so to speak, the time machine peice into Cobalt? I wonder what he could do then?

I get up and start grabbing tools...

Kay Elliot, I'm comin' in!

~Celia

As I  came out of Musical Grotto, the sky darkened above the water. A cloud probably. But it stayed there, and didn't rain. This was odd. It had been many hours. Finally, out of curiousity, I surface. Metalic...buildings? Floating in the sky? Singing Starfish!!! A rope just barely touched the sand of an island. I don't think at all. I quickly pack a variety of remedies and potions. Settling them into my waterproof pack, I swim to the island, transform into a human, and start climbing. It's pretty tricky, especially since I am not accustomed to human legs. As I slip the 27th time, I start getting frustrated. I quickly scramble up the rest of the way, fueled by anger. Finally, I am standing on metalic ground. I look around in awe. Then pack on my shoulder, I set off to explore. Too soon, I wander into an alleyway, find it as a dead end, and when I turn around, a group surronds me. This is not a group of neighbors. This group is looking for trouble, and I am their answer. I put my hand on my pack and cautiously stand my ground. The supposed gang leader smiled, sensing my fear. "We are the Hidden Gang, and you are not welcome on Sail Haven." I take a step back yet manage to add spite to my voice. "You most certainly aren't hidden now." Some snicker. URGH! My accent is so prim and proper. But what can I explain? That I live in a mermaid city where we make proper introductions and learn etticute (sorry guys I spelled that wrong)? I glare, but my eyes are full of worry. And they know it. They circle around like white sharks, watching for my weak spot. "You don't belong here," the group chants. "And we don't want you." I am still backing up when a member makes a sudden move. I dodge like I am still in the ocean, but I'm not and I hit the ground, hard. They mock and tease, but all I can hear is my own heart beating. My pack is open behind me, and I slowly grasp it. Then a vial catches my eye. It's the- I don't wait another second. The vial smashes against the ground to create bubbles. Sound lame? Well, the bubbles part for me, and swirl wildy around all others, but the people, don't. I try climbing up the wall, but I fall down multiple times. And the effect is wearing off. I desperately try again, but it's too late. I fall into a crumpled heap at the shoes of the gang leader. My bluish-black hair covers my face, and I'm glad for once. I shrink back as he says what's sure to be the last words I'll hear. "It's over, ocean girl."

Sorry for the dramatic entrance, a normal one seemed way too boring for Sail Haven. But can one of you step in before my character dies? It could even be a criminal.

The last screw. The last darn screw. I twist carefully for the 30th time. It's gonna go in this time. I can feel it.

Then I hear a loud noise, a thump. I jump and the screw goes flying. I stare at it for a second and then get up and head for the door. Whoever made that noise is going to get my full wrath, no excuses.

I burst into the alley and look around for the offender. Then I stop. There is a group, a gang, all gathered around a girl huddled on the ground. They are snickering and laughing, kincking her.

I calmly walk over to the group. They part to let me through, sneering. I walk up to the biggest and burliest of them all. He obviously was the leader.

"Excuse me, but I noticed that you were giving this girl a hard time. Please stop."

He sneers at me, "What, and a little twig like you is gonna stop me?" The rest of the group starts laughing.

I shrug. "Have it your way then."

I swing a right uppercut so fast he didn't know it was coming until it conected with his jaw. He stumbled back, then regained his balance and tried to tackle me. I kicked him in the gut, and he fell onto the ground.

I twirled around and dodged one of the gang members punch. I quickly used their momentum to swing them around and slam them into the wall. I switch my arm to aether blade and face the rest of the gang. They run like puppies with their tails between their legs.

I turn to the girl. "Hi, I'm Sprocket."

I ran up to the gang. Slicing at the gang members, I offer my assistance to a... fish human?

Beg your pardon Elliot, but the correct term is mermaid. But you don't know that yet. Anyway sorry, but Sprocket was first. Ah, it feel so good to be on this thread again.

~Celia

There is a huge clash and when I look up, a girl is standing over me instead of the gang member. She smiles and helps me up. "I'm Sprocket," she says. A mecanical dog(wait, they are called dogs right?) comes rushing towards her. "That's Cobalt." I smile warily and keep silent. "And you are..." She prompts. Oh. Right. "My name is Celia, Daghter of Master and Missus Tash." She seems a bit surprised at my formal accent, and words. "Oh-kay," She says. "So what brings you to Sail Haven?" I brighten. "That's what this place is called?" She nods, a bit confused. I pause. "I was, um, exploring. and came upon a rope hanging down from this city. It's  amazing up here," I glance down at the unconcious gang members. "Most of the time." I follow Sprocket, who seems to know the city like the scales of her tail. That is, if she had one. Some how, I feel like I'm about to be bound for wonders.

I start to walk and the girl, Celia, follows me. She seems a little different, and that accent was weird, but she seemed like she needed my help. First, though, I was going to show her around SailHaven .

We reach the main Avenue and find a huge traffic jam. It is early evening and the sun was just going down, so everyone was going home.

It was hopeless to try to get through, so I decided to try something better. I led her to an alley where  I switched my arm to suction.

"Grab on," I said, offering her my other arm. She grabbed on and I walked on up the wall.

We reached the roof and looked out over SailHaven. Celia gasped, as the sight was extremely beautiful. The dying suns rays glinted off the metal roofs of the city, creating a mirage of beautiful gold and red pink colors.

"This," I said, "is SailHaven.

Oooh-kaaay. That was a bit random Piper. Of course, I didn't mean to offend. My character Izabell says random facts 24/7. I'm actually trying to get into a habit. Anyway....(I think that's my trade mark. The long anyway)

~Celia

I follow Sprocket to an amazing view of the city. Sail Haven is so busy and bustling and entergetic, yet, it brings a certain peace to my heart. Like I am ment to stay... Wait! No! I can't stay! I'm a meremaid for coral's sake! And I haven't even told Sprocket. My heart sink as I realize the facts. Sail Haven is full of scientists and machinery. A mermaid is a research subject. I would not be safe. I sigh and look at Sprocket. A rough girl, yet still a mechanist. My gaze falls on a scrape on her arm. I gasp. "What?" she says, following my gaze. "Oh that," she looks away. "It's nothing." I shake my head. "No, it's not. It's infected and getting worse. Where did thou get this?" A flush creeps up her neck. "During the fight." she admits. I sigh. "Why would thou risk thine arm for me?" Even though the dusk is upon us, I can see her eyes roll. I bristle. "I can make a new one." Hmph. Oh course she can. Nonetheless, I reach into my pack. "Here," I say holding out a remedy. "For thine arm." She takes it cautiously and pours a bit out. To her surprise, the cut fades completely. I grin. "Where did you learn this?" Sprocket says, handing back the vial. My smile fades. "My home town," I mutter. A lie. I didn't learn it, I just knew. A girl mermaid trying to be an apothecary. No one will accept it. But to my relief, Sprocket thinks it's wonderful. We continue to gaze out at the view. Me with my secrets, and Sprocket with her mechanics.

So guys, I'm going to yet another camp. No electronics allowed. Sorry, but my characters will not be posting. I don't know any Kyngdomers near me. Until then, bye. And Gared/Elliot please keep track of the boarding school for me. Read Izabell's post.
