As usual, the
Chatterbox: KYNGDOM™ RP Board
As usual, the
As usual, the Inn was fairly busy, but today, I didn't care. In fact, that was good today.
I leapt up onto the stage where animals usually performed music, but the Inn hadn't hired anyone at this time.
"Friends. Brothers. Sisters. Lend me your ears." I rasped. But that was all I needed. Every face turned towards me various expressions on their faces. Disgust. Anger. Hope.
"Some might call me a rogue, or a loner. Circumstances have made this happen to me. I am no longer who I was, not who I hoped to be. I am now a seasoned veteran, used to the line of battle.
"And yet, this is not a battle which many of you would think of. It is the battle taken to the home. My mate died. My littermate nearly died. My pups died. And you know why?"
The Inn is silent, not a sound to be heard. "Because of B.I.G. They took my love. My life. My will to live. But my will has returned. And as they say, 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger' is true. My will is back, fiercer than ever. And I want your help. We need to fight B.I.G. back. Two blows for a blow.
"Have you not heard of the recent massacres and murders?! WE MUST DESTROY THEM! IF WE DO NOT FIGHT, THEY WILL TAKE EVERYTHING FROM US! WE MUST FIGHT! Be silent. Be vigilant. And by all means, PROTECT YOUR YOUNG!"
I leap off of the stage, and pandemonium ensues. The white bird is screeching at me, and Wigbig is struggling to make things quiet.
It has been done. This needed to happen. "IF YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE, MEET ME AT THE DEN BY THE STREAM A COUPLE LEAPS FROM HERE!" I below. There. I let it a breath I did not know I was holding.

I am also in the labarinth, but this is before I go in
Blades whirling, I make an exit. Great, another riot. I run to my next mission: the labarinth

I watch as the human leaves, shoving his way through the crowd. Once all of the animals clear away, I head back to Hyrule. I wait for her to see me, because I do not want to interupt anything. I slowly watch as her muscles tense. Before I realize what is happening, she whips around and growls at me, baring her teeth. She then straightens up, with perfect posture.
"I'm sorry," she says. "I did not know it was you."
"Well, just making sure you didn't get rabies all of the sudden or something," I joke.
Hyrule looks as though she is about to laugh, but she regains her gaze. "Yes, well.... That is not important. We need to move on."
"Okay," I reply.
She looks sad.
"Is everything okay?" I ask, concerned.
She looks at me hopefully for a second, but she turns stern. "Don't worry about it."
I nod. She's interesting. One second, she will have a certain emotion, and the next she will have another. But whatever. It does not matter. We must keep on going. She motions for us to turn towards the door and leave.
We both head out, with me following her. I wonder if I will truely ever know what is going on in her head.

As we walk through the forest, I notice that Hyrule is tense.
"What's the matter?" I ask.
She hesitates before saying, "Nothing. It is just the white fox that was at the inn. I feel like she is somebody that I used to know, but I am not sure."
I look at her. "Well.... There is always the possiblity that you have seen her before."
"I suppose," she replies. "And the human was awfully strange."
"Yes, well," I say, "All humans are strange."
She laughs lightly.
Suddenley she comes to an abbrupt stop. Her ears are folded back and a low growl begins to errupt from her. "Get down," she tells me.
I do as she says as we duck into a bush.
"What's the matter?" I ask.
"Human," she responds.
"H-hello?" a voice calls out of the darkness.
"Male. Youth. With a girl," Hyrule whispers.
I nod. "Would you like me to take care of them?"
"No," she replies. "I'll do it myself."
The split second before she pounces, I feel something strange inside of me. A feeling that I have never felt before. A sense of guilt, love, and mercy of some sort. I deperatley try to push it down. It will only get in the way, and besides, humans are terrible, the way they kill for no reason. But are we killing without any reason? Are Hyrule and I going to be responsible for the death of two more lives, innocent at that? No. No more death. We can at least see what they want and who they are.
"Stop!" I shout at Hyrule.
It is too late. She lands on the younger girl. But my command for her to stop did not go to watse, for she pounced back as soon as she landed on the girl. The girl did not seem harmed.
"What?!" she snaps as she turns to look at me.
"Let's not kill them!" I say. "At least let's find out what they want!"
"How are we going to do that?!" she shouts. I am a little taken aback. "DO THEY LOOK LIKE THE TYPE OF PEOPLE THAT WOULD HAVE A CIPHER?"
"Actually," the human boy says as he pulls something out of his coat pocket, "I do understand you."
Hyrule and I both gasp. It's a cipher.
