I have a backstory to share. It might be different than what you expect:

I flaped forward, the sun sinking low over the horizon. I am a bat. A flying fox bat. And I work for the Army of Rebels. I was on a mission to find potentiol allies and BIG agents in the forest. But as I watched a small group of animals, they were doing something interesting. Something very interesting; writing. Flapping down lower, I saw the note. It was written in big, shakey letters and was addrested to BIG. No way, they were writing a threat. Fifteen animals threataning BIG. I flew down lower to talk to them.

"Hello", I said, then continued,"What are you doing?"

I surveyed them. Birds, lizards, foxes, owls even a wolf. They looked at me and the wolf replied,"Who are you. We are the Animals. An Anti-BIG group that wishes to make BIG cower deeper and deeper into their fortress before we destroy them. We are stronger then them."

I talked to them for some time. They eventualy agreed to come with me and join the Army of Rebels.

I guess that it is not an official backstory, but it is the backstory of my group, the Animals. Please join me on my group thread for more stories. Goodbye.

Hey, everybody! Some of you may have already read my backstory, as some of you may have not. All of the stories are either on Gryphon Encounters or the Finding the Gryphons RP. But just to keep it more organized in a designated place, in this case this RP thread, I'll post it. I'll post just the basic summary however, because it is hard to fit everything.

Redwing's mother has been taken by B.I.G., and his sister was taken by Owls, possibly B.I.G. Owls. His father went missing and was last seen with a human, possibly Icicle Soul. He has been on the run every since, and he stopped by the Bog & Burrow Inn once, only to find owls who picked a fight. He ran away again, this time meeting a white wolf named Lupa who adopted an abandoned child, Amata Soul, the sister of Icicle Soul. Icicle and Amata are hoped to be reunited again. The wolf and girl tried to get Redwing to safety, because B.I.G. would find a Gryphon pup useful, but Redwing continued the journey to find out what happened to his family without them, fearing he would put them in danger if they continued with them. Redwing is now on the run, and he has encountered an owl.

Hi Windswift! Here's my backstory

I was a preparing to fly, for my dawn has shed. I hopped from one branch to another. Pa and Ma both went out to hunt, and were depending on me to protect my sibling, who was perched beside me, ready to fly, just like me. A warning yelp from a coyote rung through the air. A fire alarm. I see a large fire coming our way. The red blaze rose higher, reaching the tallest tree in the forest, called Caelaniker, which means Caelani's tree. Caelaniker's bottom leaves had burned, and the fire rose, reaching for the leaves on the top of the tree. I hopped into the hollow, and told my sibling saying everything was fine. The fire roared in my ears. "What is that, Mrot?" my sibling squeaks. My sibling was a few days younger than me. "Nothing, it's fine," I reply. The fire roared again, and I changed my mind. "Come on, let's climb to the top of the tree. We need to leave the hollow," I hooted, and climbed out. My sibling followed and we hopped up the tree. The fire blazed brightly. When we reached the top, my sibling cried out, "Mrot! I'm scared!" My sibling was afraid of heights, but was working on it. When we jumped, my sibling fell. The wind blew me away before my sibling touched the fire line. I've been raised by the wind ever since. They taught me how to fight and plan, and EVERYTHING.

I never knew what happened to my sibling.

I figured my sibling burned to ashes. The wind had also put my name backward and added an s, making Storm.

I ran through the thick green grass, shouting with laughter, my father loping along behind me. The day was bright and beautiful, perfect for exploring.

We ran to a creek and stopped to rest. Dad showed me the brightly colored fish swimming in the water, and told me their species, diet, and what they were hunted by. I was too busy trying to catch the fish in my little three year old paws to listen to him.

After a while father and I decided to head back home. As we were walking through the meadows, I spotted a fox a few yards ahead. I pointed the fox out to father, and we started to walk towards it.

When we got about 100 feet away from it the fox took out a blow gun and shot a little object at him. As soon as it hit him he crumpled to the ground. I was paralized by shock, so I didn't notice the fox sneaking up on me. He grabbed me and started to carry me away. I felt a strange feeling come over me, I felt, for the first time in my life, completly controlled by rage. It was a frightening feeling, one that made me feel like she couldn't control how I acted.

I bit down hard on the foxes arm. He yelled at dropped me in surprise. As I hit the ground I grabbed onto his leg and started scratching. The fox howled in pain and tried to get me off. He grabbed a rock and hit me on the head, the blow knocking me unconcious. He ran into the trees, limping and holding his injured arm.

My father and I were found two hours later, and were immediatly sent to the doctor. I survived but my father died, killed by the poison in the fox's dart.
