Characters Into Reality

Hello! Wiseowl here, this thread is connected to the book of myths and ledgends. At least, the part about the story tellers and the realm outside Kyngdom. Every one of us who writes on here is telling a story. In these stories we create the mystical world of Kyndom. In reality, we are only typing behind the screen. So what if we found that our story came alive and that our characters accidentally found a way into our world? You will see my example below. Gook luck on your story!

~Wiseowl

I flip through "The Book of Myths and Ledgends" until I come to the page on the realm outside Kyngdom. At the bottom are a few words, scrawled in red ink. I say them aloud. "A story can come alive." Suddenly everyting starts spinning. I fall out of my chair. I call out to the person nearest to me."Storm! Help!" But then I black out.

I was talking to Wigbig about the speech arrangement, when Wiseowl suddenly passed out the table next to me. I looked on the copy of the book of myths and legends she had on her table. I muttered, "A story can come alive." She must've been very freightened by those words. Some creatures in the book of myths and legends are dangerous, mysterious, or unpredictable. I spashed some cold water on her and she woke up. "Uh, you just passed out. Are you ok?"

One minute I'm in a totally diffrent world and the next, Storm is standing over me looking worried. I pant, trying to catch my breath. "Storm," I say between breaths. "There was something out there. A diffrent world. I think it's the realm outside Kyngdom. I have to go back to find out why I got sent there." Storm looks serious. "No." He says. "It's too dangerous." "Storm seriously," I counter back. "I felt like something needed me out there. Or I needed something. It's going to dive me crazy until I find out!" I wait for Storm's reply

I thought. I was pretty sure she said it will drive her crazy. Maybe she will drown herself if she can't.

"Well," I started. "Maybe you could get some help with a few members from the Mapmaker's association. We are trying to map the world after all. It's a bit late, take a good nice sleep in Reader's Barn. Maybe your dreams may tell you something about it. Besides, starting tonight is crazy. The Western Winds blow crazy hard on this one day of the year. You'll surely get hurt." Wiseowl stopped awhile to consider my words.

I took a moment to realize she must've fallen to sleep. All that berry juice must've made her tired. I took her gently in my talons and taken her back to the Readers Barn. I left silently. I had to work on some files at Capto Ablore Library.

I wake up. I have to go back. The book is calling me, I can feel it. I have to go now! I find the book and say the magical words.

The landscape changes. I'm at the base of a mountain. I start climbing. "This is the eaisiest mountain I've ever climbed." I muttered under my breath. "It's not a mountain." says a voice behind me. When I turn around, I'm looking at an almost mirror image of myself. "Who are you?" I say, shocked. "I'm Sophia. That's a rock climbing wall. I jump down. "Have you been folowing me?" I ask cautiosly. "No. What's your name." My eyes search the girl, looking for signs of danger. "I'm Wiseowl." I say at last. Sophia pales and takes a step back. "What?" I say, looking around. "I created you." She says.

"You're joking, right?" I nevously chuckle. Sophia takes a deep breath. "No, I'm not." I before I can tell her that she is crazy, she says, "Look, you'd better come to my house so I can explain. I nod. I find out that this "rock climbing" whatchamacalit is in a park where everyone ins luaghing and having fun. We jet to Sophia's house and she finds what she is looking for. She holds up a magazine called Cricket. She flips to a page. On the page, "Kyngdom" is written across the top. The rest is sayings I've heard from people in Kyngdom. I gasp. Then everything goes black. I open my eyes and Storm is infront of me, holding a now-empty jug of water. AGAIN. I bust into tears, partially because of what I found out and partialy because I'm not in the strange other world anymore. "Storm," I say between sobs. "We're not real."

"No, you came back to read that book when I came for dinner and you passed out. I had to dump water on you again," I said. Wiseowl looked around. She was lying on the bench. "You were probably dreaming Wiseowl." I hooted and continued eating.

Everything seemed so real. And there is still so much to discover in that world. I sigh. I really must be going crazy. But what if it is real? Suddenly I have an idea. "Storm," I say slowly. "What?" "What if... if you came into the book as well, so I can know that I'm not going crazy?" "Well..." He hesitates. "Please?" I say. "Fine. It won't hurt I guess." So holding his hand so we aren't seperated I say the words. "A story can come alive." Everything swirls like it's suposed to then goes black. But before it goes black, A force greater than gravity pulls us apart.

I'm going to just jump in, sorry :P its my greatest weakness-always jumping into things.

~Kate (this is who created me. I'm not using my real name, because it feels insecure)

Kate goes on her computer in the morning, usually. She yawns and begins to type. "Seriously, Kate, you've been addicted to that. You never play MineCraft with me anymore!" Cody, her brother, complains. "Ugh, Cody." Kate complains. "I like writing. So deal with it!" She tossed her long, dirty blonde hair to her shoulder. Her skin was so pale, almost albino pale, from sitting in front of computers all day. Oh well. What can an 11 1/2 year old girl do? She sighed, and went into the book of myths and legends. She had to reply to Ivy's comment. Then she noticed some words in it. "A story can come to life." She read. And then she was spinning in her chair and she heard Cody calling her name and everything went black. Her last thought was "I hope I don't die right before I get my next issue of Cricket."

~Icy

I sit in my Capn'O room. Anwen is gone, she says she'll be back after meeting Ferra. Suddenly I begin to hear voices in my head, saying things. "You never play-" A voice yells. "Craft with me anymore!" Am I scysophrenic, or whatever its called? Whats going on!? "like writing." A voice says. "oh deal wi it!" I'm getting dizzy. Suddenly I fall down on the ground and everything goes black. I hear someone whisper "I hope I don't die right before I get my next issue of Cricket."

I was not with Wiseowl, but I woke up in a room in a house. I looked around. There was a girl (I am a girl in real life) squealing in delight. "It's a Pygmy Owl! Is it really Storm?" If you remember, Storm does not understand English, so I cocked my head sideways. I flew into the window, and woke up. Dreams really do seem like reality. I think. An old raccoon comes up to me. "At last!" he croaked. "Terrene travelers!" "What?" I asked. "I apologize. I'm Researcher. I've been searching the worlds that live alongside our dimension. Terrene Travelers were the only ones that could travel into these dimensions. I believe I had just found one, you and that human," the raccoon said. Wiseowl started to stir. "Please, follow me, and take your friend," he croaked. I obeyed, and followed him to a rotting tree.

"Sophia?" I say, waking up in the other realm. "There you are!" she exclaims. "Of course I knew what was happening since I kind of control you and check the website whenever I can." I  slump down. "I know what you are thinking Wiseowl," she says. "But you are real. Maybe I don't control you. Maybe the magic of Kyngdom got to me and made me write about you." I perk up. "I like the sound of that," I admit. "You'll probably wake up soon," Sophia says. And I do, feeling much better. But when I wake up, Storm is gesturing me to follow this other animal. I stand up.

We sat on some mushroom seats in the rotting trunk, but Researcher was going to get something. Researcher came in. "Here," he croaked. He set down some bark paper with scratched language on there. "I had tried to make maps as quickly as I can there, but I never got enough time. I stole a human-made map instead," he said, pointing at the blue map. "I had found a magical connection connecting the so-called creators in the parallel world to ours. The connection is the only thing that I found runs through our worlds. Terrene Travelers like us somehow follow the connection like a hound following a scent through worlds through dreams. Our bodies don't really travel into the Parallel world, but our spirit does, and forms a spiritual body that seems very lifelike. Since it is similar to dreaming, if you hurt yourself, you come back to this world." My head got a bit dizzy with all the information. Does that mean we could spy on the other characters by asking our creators about what they find on their computer? "Everyone has a creator?" Wiseowl asked. "No, but many of us that involve interactive events that are not normal have one." Researcher croaked. "I had been learning about this magic ever since I found out about it. Just last night I had a connection travel." "This is all very interesting," I say. "Indeed. Since I am with other Terrene Travelers like yourselves today, the world traveling may become more often today." Researcher purred. " Examine these all you want."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Researcher was a character I just created so this information is not entirely new, just rarely known. Terrene Travelers should be rare, and happens to few. The only Terrene travelers right now are Storm, Researcher, Wiseowl, and Icy. More should join in.
My family and I are Terrene Travelers, we didn't know it was weird. We're nomads, and have been going from world to world since before I was born. If we are just made up though, I have yet to find my creator.
When I wake up I'm in a house. Not an animal house, a human house. Standing in front of a computer. There's a girl standing in front of it too. And she looks slightly like me. I want to run. I want to scream. She has pale skin, like mine. But her dark blonde hair is long, and straight. And she's not as small. And she has blue glasses on.
We both scream at the same time. "Who are you!?" she screams. We back away from each other and are on the walls opposite from each other. "I-I-I-Icicle!" I finally manage. "What?!" she asks frantically. "My name's Icicle!" I yell. She suddenly walks right up to me and looks right into my face. "Icicle..Soul?" she asks. "Icy?" she asks. I nod, my eyes wide and staring at her. "I created you," she whispers. Just then, I hear an owl hoot. "Storm...?" I ask. The hoot did sound like Storm... "Storm!?" I call again. I hear a hoot. It's coming from outside.
"Do you mean Storm Windwhisperer?" she whispers. Then she, very quickly, explains to me how she created me. "If Storm's here too...You have to find him," she says. My head is spinning. I just nod and we run together out the back door.
"Storm?" I whisper. I'm still shocked and shaking and sweating from what happened. I'm not r-real..?  I'm fake..?
I'm suddenly angry. So I became a guardian for nothing. Kate put me through this. "Kate." I suddenly whisper. "What?" she whispers back. "C-couldn't you...fix all of the p-problems in Kyngdom-m, if you a-are some kind of-f... you c-called it a writer, that cont-trolls my world-d? Can't-t you g-give us a h-happy ending-g?" I ask.
Kate stops and shakes her head. She has a sad look on her face. "Sorry, I can't," she says. "Yes you can! You control everything that happens to me!!!" I say. "No," she says angrily. "They'll yell at me, shame me...But a happy ending will come soon-" she says.
Something bursts in me and I run crying. She doesn't even consider me to be a human. She doesn't even think that way about anything in this world... I run untill I find a forest. I climb into a tree and start to cry, moving my fingers all over the bark. I'm just a kid....do I deserve this? No. Nobody does.
I stay there crying untill I hear voices. An Owl hooting, and what I think is a Racoon. If Storm's here... He's older than me, he probably knows what to do!! "Storm!" I yell.
