Army of Rebels RP

this is a thread for the RP of the rescue mission to find Rain and Lonli.

My heart was pounding as I stood on a large rock in front of the crowd. I could feel my face getting hot. I had never spoken in front of this many people before, I had never led a search mission either, for that matter. But everyone expected me to. So that's why I was sitting here in front of everyone. Info Chan, Hyrule, Timber, Ferryl, Fire, Shadow, Trill, Alexia and some of her spies were all waiting for me to give the plan. I cleared my throat and prepared to speak. I had planned out the speech for days, but now my notes looked silly. I threw them up and they blew away in the wind. "Friends!" I started. " We are gathered here today to go and find those animals trapped in BIG, or possibly somewhere else, and help them. This is what we do as the Rebel Army. We will infiltrate BIG, and possibly bring more animals out with us than we had when we went in." I took a deep breath, then gave the plan. "We will split up into groups. Group 1, lookouts. You will go into BIG first and tell The other groups when it's safe to come in. You will also alert the other groups when you see a BIG worker, or other danger. Group 2, distraction, if danger does arise, dart the other way so that the scientist or whatever will follow you away from the other groups. We all hope that you'll make it safely out, but you must be willing to sacrifice yourself in this group. Group 3, releasers, you will go into the lab and help the animals. You will unlock the cages and open the doors. Group 4, ushers, you will see to it that the rescued animals make it it safety. Even if it means giving yourself up. If there are extra creatures, or you don't fit into one of the other groups, you will be in Group 5, Backup. If we need extra help, you will step in. The distraction or Lookout groups will alert you. Choose your groups quickly. The mission will activate tomorrow night. I will either be a releaser, or an usher. If you don't know which group to be in, tell me your strengths and weaknesses and I will put you in whatever group I think best. We will be taking members into the Rebel Army until the search mission, and after the search mission. Not during." And with that, I set off the great mission to infiltrate BIG.

Ok. I got my bats to find the animals. They are a small group of flying animals that need help. They are good at fighting, but have little supplies or straragy. They are ready and willing to help. They tried to take down B.I.G. with about twenty animals. However, they escaped and B.I.G. can't find them.

"Okay, go get them. I'm going to distract them a few halls away. So . . . try to keep it down!" I said before I transformed. Before I sprinted out of the way, I dug into the pocket of the old lab coat I had found, pulling out a small sharp pocket knife. And I etched the scars, just enough so it looked like the wolds were fresh." It's about lunch time for the animals and humans so they should be on the way to the cafeteria, which is pretty close. If the workers who feed the animals see me, they will want to get the guards first to insure their safety. It will be just a little longer, but the more time we have the better." I ran lightly down two corridors and around a corner towards the cafeteria.

I stopped in an empty hallway, checked that there was no blood trailing behind me, took a deep breath, and screamed at the top of my lungs. Going limp, my body fell to the ground. And soon enough I heard footsteps pounding benind me while blood pooled on the stone floor.

The Animals are scouting out ahead. They will tell us the best way to enter B.I.G.

I flew forward. The guards looked around nervously. The bats swarmed down on them. After the guards started to fight back. No one was injured much, so we dove a second time. Then I motioned for us to retreat.  You guys are good to go!

It was a man wearing a sploched white lab coat. He let out a gasp and said, "I'll get the guards!" and sprinted back the way he came. I thought about the area around me. I wanted to give some more time than I thought I would. There was the cafeteria, the janitor's closet... that was right next to the boiler room! My mother used to work as a janitor as well as a scientist so I knew the codes to both rooms! In the janitor's closet there were things such as mops and brooms and cleaning supplies, but there were also ropes. Then there was the boiler room. Thinking back there were bars on the ceiling as well as a cage about the size of a large tree house. What if I used the rope in the janitor's closet to lift the cage in the boiler room onto the roof rafters and use my pocket knife to cut the rope so I don't have to hold it there! I also knew what to do to get them following me. I clutched the bloodied pocket knife under my body.

When the man came back he was followed by two bodyguards. Most of the time nothing happend so they just recently had to start hiring guards. I waited until they were less than a foot away from me and then I thrashed out, stabbing a guard's foot. Springing up, I sprinted towards the janitor's closet. I grabbed the rope that I predicted was there. Spinning around the corner and into the next room I began to climb the boiler. Sitting on top I tied a sturdy knot on the upmost bar. Reaching up I grabbed the bar above me, pulling myself up. I looped the rope around the bar and hopped down, pulling the rope with me. The cage was lifted with some work, and I climbed back up into the rafters before the two guards, one limping, and a scientist threw the door open.

The three men walked into the dark room. The girl that they were chasing seemed to have disappeared. Little did they know, she was waiting for the right moment.

I dropped the rope and the large cage tumbled down on them. It made a huge CLANG as it hit the ground. They all jumped. Pulling off the old lab coat I wiped the blood off my face, and dropped it on the cage. I jumped and landed on the ground. sprinting out of the room. I looked behind me; there was no way of getting back out from the inside, there was no doorknob. I sprang back into wolf form and sprinted even faster towards the celals to help unlock the animals.

"The guards are down!" Info Chan rushes into the closet where I and a few others are hiding, waiting for her signal. Alexander, Trill, and the bats should be leading the distracted guards away. Hyrule, myself, and a few others quietly walk to where the caged animals are. As I near the gloomy cages, I spot a guard. I duck under a table, and the dumb, unsuspecting man misses me. Then I see her. A lump of brown and white, in the corner of a cage, thrown out like a piece of trash. "Rain!" I say. I run up to the cage, jump, and hit the lock, knocking it loose. "Moonshadow! You came!" she says excitedly, jumping out of the cage. She helps me unlock more animal cages. Hyrule goes to one side of the room, unlocking those cages while Rain and I do the rest. Info Chan comes with a few volunteered animals to help get the freed animal to safety. Rain seems to know many of the animals, and they are all glad and thankful to be out. We finish unlocking all of the cages in the room, and we've freed so many animals. We didn't leave one. But we must go. I only wish we could stay and free animals from other rooms. I'm not sure if Hyrule found Lonli or not. In the large crowd of animals, it's hard to tell. But it almost looks as if his face is sad. (Hyrule, you can decide whether it not you found Lonli) then, out of nowhere, a guard appears. "Ah-ha!" he says. "Stupid girl! Stupid animals! You think you can get away? Ha! You think wrong!" He seems to recognize Trill and Info Chan from when they've been here before. What will we do now!?!

Some blood was still stuck in my hair, making it coarse and dirty. My paws pounded on the ground. I knew nothing could possibly happen because there were only two guards per sector. There were the office sector, the crated sector, the lab sector and many more. I was in the crated sector; there were cafetereis in each. They should be here now, I thought, as I turned the corner into the giant mass of cages.

I spun in surprize to see a bulky guard advancing upon me and Trill. On instinkt I transformed, out of my human form, letting out a deep growl. The guard, not listening, continued to stalk forward. Not thinking I lunged forward, not biting, but pushing him back into a closed cage. He, looking suprized, tried to pull out his knife. I shoved my shoulder into his wrist, making him drop the knife, and I slid it acros the floor. Everyone paused as Trill opened the large bear-sized cage and the guard and I fell in, me on top of him. "Shut the door!" I yelled at Trill, and she did exactly that, locking it afterwards. I jumped up towards the bared top, and just before I realized I was just too big to fit thru the bars. I transformed and landed up on the bars on the top of the crate everyone looked at me in awe. Jumping down I changed one more time and said, "Get as many animals as you can then get out of here! We aren't going to be safe for much longer. Everyone who can help release more animals, please help as much as you can." I walked up to the others and said, "I have to go." Alexander, looking even more confused than the guard now sitting in the cage, asked me, "Why? Where are you going?"  "I need to go and finish what my mother started years ago." I stalked away towards the person who started it all.

Also, you are risking injury. I only came back because you were taking a long time. Also, revenge is a bad idea.

Trill winced when she saw InfoChan, but continued running. She whistled through her fingers, and guards changed course from InfoChan to her. Thinking quickly, she whispered to Alexander. "Split up at the next intersection. Pass it on." He nodded, and passed the message to the next runner.

oops, the comment got posted a little late. Well, never mind. Forget the contents of the above reply!

After a silent celebration, Trill tossed some keys she had grabbed from a guard to everyone and they all started unlocking cages. Grabbing two owls and a cat, she handed them to someone else. Then Trill saw two cages in a dark corner. She walked quietly over to them. Inside....was it? Could it be? "Rain? Lonli? Don't worry." She said as the cages started to hiss. "I'm not going to hurt you." She pulled out the key, and started fumbling with the lock. Almost all the other cages were empty, and Alexander was helping the others climb out through the window. Trill noticed that Info Chan wasn't with them. 'She can take care of herself.' Trill thought, trying to reassure herself. Suddenly, the cages that she was trying to open stood up. There were....men inside?!?!? "Gotcha now." Said the outline of the man who looked like Bob. The Gog shadow smirked and threw a bag of her head. 'Uh oh.' Trill thought.

I fly low. Why are the rest of them not running out. I spot a guard, looking at another bat. I lunge forward, my claws throwing the human against the wall. I flap out, breaking through a window. I notice the Animals have left a note. Mission acomplished!

I dart through the crowd, searching for Lonli. "Lonli!" I howl. An answering howl bounces back. "Hyrule!" Lonli plunges toward me, her beautiful white fur stained and torn.

We touch noses in greeting. "What happened?" I whimper. "It's a long story." She whispers. "Come with me to The Army of Rebels base."

"What's that?" I smile at her. "The animals who me to rescue you. Many of them are wolves. Help us."

Someone says to split up at the next intersection, but I stop. "Wait!" I yell to everyone." We need to split up into groups of two, each taking a portion of rescued animals with us! Then we can split up and run in different directions! We will all end up outside of BIG if everything works out okay!" After every group has some rescued animals with them, we split up at the next intersection. Rain is in my group, and she seemed to have something to say. "Rain?" I asked. "Is something wrong?" She replies in a soft tone. "It's just, my family. They might be here." I remembered suddenly that Rain's family had been kidnapped and taken to BIG. She was the only one who escaped, and that's why they had wanted her in the first place. "Come on." I motion for a Rain to follow me, and I tell Alexander to go on with the rest of our group. It was too late to make a new plan. I would have to do this myself. I ran to where I figured was the lab, then skidded to a stop, causing a Rain to crash into me. The sight of all those animals locked up in cages was certainly something to behold. I looked around in horror. Rain ran up to her family. They were all in separate cages, and being used for different things. I walked around the large room looking at the sad creatures. There were snakes being forced to eat rubber mice, because the mice were being tested for strength using the method of running on a weighted wheel. It was made of thick heavy iron. There were dogs with scars from swimming in knives and needles. They called it "testing their pain tolerance" just a nice way to say torture. Rain had been in Pain Testing until that miss Corneilia Hornshaw saw her coat. Then she was to be fattened up and used to make a new fur coat for that cursed lady. I let every animal I saw out, which turned out to be a mistake. But was it? Wasn't it worth it for all those animals to go free? Yes. It was. Miss Hornshaw walked in right that moment, with a very suprised look on her face. I motioned for Rain to take all of the animals to safety. She ran with them, leaving me to face this beast of a woman. "Ah, so you're the one responsible for this mess. Gerald!" Gerald was apparently an animal control officer working for BIG. He came running in. "Yes mam! What is it mam?" He said shakily. "You call this animal control!!!" She yelled angrily. Then Gerald tryed something very foolish. To try and lock me up in a cage. I growled and bared my teeth, there were still animals here to be rescued! Corneilia unlocked some cages and held out two bunnies by their ears. Then she dropped them on the floor. She took all the other animals, too. And she piled them up in the floor like old garbage. "We have a radiation room, you know." She said. An evil grin showing on her face. "You or them, big boy" I knew what she meant. I stepped meekly over to Gerald and climbed in the cage, looking dejected. I had failed. No. I hadn't failed. I might be in a cage, but I hadn't failed. I had completed my mission. I hoped they wouldn't come back for me. I knew Rain would tell them not to. She knew I could handle getting out myself. Cornelia lied, of course. She stuffed the animals into their appointed cages, but at least she didn't send them to the radiation room.
