NAME: Cendaren Caligo

SPECIES: Night elf/homo sapiens mix

JOB/TITLE: Black market correspondent; has worked with SOCS in the past; is currently a general in Catastrophe's army.

APPEARANCE: Tall, sturdy, strong build. One eye is a dark blue-green while the other is green. He's tanned and well-muscled with a hardened look in his eyes. He's often seen wearing his uniform, since he is currently employed as a general in Catastrophe's army.

He has elf ears and his well-kept hair is black at the roots and red at the top.

PERSONALITY: Quiet, appearing thoughtful. His eyes are often narrowed at whatever he's looking at. Sometimes he looks off at nothing.

Cendaren is brooding and can attain an eerie calm in most scenarios. He's cold, authorative, analytical, studious, and introspective.

HOME: Joküll (One of Catastrophe's bases)

STRENGTHS: He's physically strong and can keep a straight face. From all his work in the black market, he's good at getting jobs done. Nobody knows what goes on inside his mind. He can be intimidating. He's agile and a good fighter.

He can withstand cold temperatures well. Cendaren's inherited night elf abilities give him a unique way to interact with the darkness; he can't see in the dark but can navigate as though he could; night elves interact with shadows the way a fish does to water. Movement in darkness creates waves that ripple in every direction, and he can create images based on the waves that bounce back. Think echolocation that only works at night.

He can also heal people.

WEAKNESSES: He doesn't laugh much. He's got bravery but not courage, and if he can't use his sword against a problem (an emotional problem) he prefers to flee from it rather than face it. Cendaren wasn't always the way he is, but Catastrophe's influence brought out his darker side.

BACKGROUND: Cendaren has always been part of a [human] family that's worked in black markets for generations, so conniving has always been in his nature.

One of his longtime duties was to deliver goods to SOCS. He had other jobs too, but this was the one that covered the bills.

Then Catastrophe's Army came around. When SOCS decided they didn't need him anymore--and then, of course, there was that time when they were utterly destroyed--Cendaren needed a new income...so he joined the Army.

The army changed him. When he reached a high ranking--one where he could actually speak with and interact with Catastrophe--that was when he adopted his cold silence. He used to laugh; now he doesn't. Nobody knows why (but they don't really care, either.) [Remember, Catastrophe's evil powers have grown so that they influence the world around him. His influence can change people too.]

Specie: Black Mamba

Appearance: She looks like a normal black mamba, but she has tucked up along her side the wings of a luna moth and a purple stone on the top of her head.

Personality: Sly, cunning, sneaky, smart, sarcastic, prideful, bossy, and vain. 

Home: A forest

Most often seen at: N/A

Friend or mentor: N/A

Enemy or rival: B.I.G

Favorite Possesion or object: Her pride.

Motto or favorite saying: N/A

Strengths: Her smarts, sneakyness, and venom. 

Weaknesses: Her wings sometimes pain her and she's very suseptible to flattery. And she wants to be in the know and doesn't want animals to know when she doesn't know what to do.

Background: She's a GMO from B.I.G. They gave her her wings. When they were trying to strenghten the wings, so that she can do more than glide the building exploded. She managed to get away, where she hid in a nearby forest. She managed to get into a hole just before the sedetive took affect and she was put into a deep slumber. But she's woken up now, and is ready for revenge.

NAME: Ember Soleil

SPECIES: Shapeshifter
JOB/TITLE: Healer of the Resistance
APPEARANCE: She's short for her age (16 or 17) with very short brown hair and a sweet demeanor. Her eyes are an orangey-amber color. (There's a picture below.) Her cat form is a small housecat with flames instead of fur.
PERSONALITY: She's sweet, caring, and gentle. Ember is a defense rather than offense kind of person. She's not weak-willed though, and can be stubborn at times.
HOME: Her home was destroyed by a fire long ago...Now she lives at the Resistance HQ.
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: She loves walking in nature and by the water, despite the fact that she doesn't like to swim.
MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "I can help!"
STRENGTHS: She can shapeshift into a housecat with flames instead of fur, but she doesn't catch everything on fire unless she wants to. She can light up dark places, and also has an ability to pass through fires--into one fire and out another. She's empathetic and makes a good healer because she can read emotions well and loves to be helpful. She has a good knowledge of healing herbs and potions.

Her weapon of choice is a bowstaff or bow and arrow.
WEAKNESSES: If she falls in the water in her cat form, she turns into a coal and has to be lit on fire again to be revived. She's not a good fighter and hates to inflict harm. She doesn't make a good leader.

BACKGROUND: So, Ember is Aliaza Shadowstalker's older cousin. They were best friends growing up. Ember left before the village was burned down by Catastrophe. She joined the Resistance shortly after finding out what had happened to the village, becoming a healer for the Resistance.

SPECIES: Forest elf
JOB/TITLE: New soldier under General Cendaren
APPEARANCE: Lightly tanned skin, auburn hair, very green eyes that sparkle in sunlight and gleam in moonlight. Average height, curvy and strong build. Large thigh and shoulder/bicep muscles from climbing trees. A relatively fast runner.
PERSONALITY: Cold, warms up to you the more she knows you. Thoughtful, often overthinks. Introverted under most circumstances. Judging, weighs her options with a heavy dose of logic. Instinctive, loyal, brave, level-minded, calm, confident, often has an unreadable look on her face and in her eyes. Very smart, clever, cunning, etc.
HOME: Catastrophe's barracks.
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: See home.
FRIEND OR MENTOR: General Cendaren and a few other soldiers.
ENEMY OR RIVAL: Anyone who DARES to oppose her.
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: A leaf from her original home, Decoy Forest, preserved in resin from the tree it came from. She wears it on a string around her neck.
MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: "Hush up, I'm fighting."
STRENGTHS: Her mental and physical strength, also her ability to be very still and silent for long periods of time, no matter the terrain.
WEAKNESSES: Her lack of motivation to understand most people and her flashbacks that plague her whenever she's completely surrounded by smoke and fire.

BACKGROUND: Escaped from Decoy Forest mostly from sheer determination and an algorithm. The algorithm was to go in whichever way the hallucinations of her past life, which was destroyed by who-knows-what suddenly and mysteriously for no reason in the dead of night, weren't. She used to have a wonderful life by herself and the animals in the forest around her, but one night it was burned by black figures who stayed just outside the smokeline so that she wouldn't know who did it.
