APPEARANCE: Tall for his age (13), average build, curly dark brown hair always needs a haircut (except right after he gets one)
PERSONALITY: Never the first to speak up, but always the first to notice something
HOME: His parents' house, which his mom likes to say has the most natural light of any underground bunker in Sprocketville, thanks to its many skylights
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: The machinist wing of the Cypher Labs dormitory, where he lives on a hall with the other gear-nerds. Needless to say it's not the cleanest wing in the building.
FRIEND OR MENTOR: Dr. Sheepshank was the first adult he felt really took him seriously.
ENEMY OR RIVAL: Marcus R., the best machinist at Cypher--and a full year younger than Charlie.
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: His titanium sprocket wrench set, a 13th birthday gift from Dr. Sheepshank.

STRENGTHS: Inventiveness--at age 8, he built a working dishwasher from scratch.
WEAKNESSES: Confidence--he has trouble standing up for himself sometimes.
BACKGROUND: Charlie grew up in Sprocketville, a small bunker town in Southwest Kyngdom. He was lonely there, since there weren't many other kids around--but that gave him plenty of time to tinker with the smashed-up machines that lined all the roads in town. After he built an entirely new set of household appliances from scratch, word spread across Kyngdom. Eventually, Dr. Sheepshank recruited him to be part of the Cypher Labs team. His parents were sad to see him go, but he didn't think twice: this was his big break.

Wow, my charrie is the exact polar opposite of yours.
Microchip is trying hard to remember her past, while MoonR remembers the past extremely vividly and is trying to forget....
Maybe we'll meet up sometime later in KYNGDOM.
Either way, MoonR is always up for helping another person!

NAME: Whisp Elden
SPECIES: Homo sapiens
JOB/TITLE: Resistance Head Librarian
APPEARANCE: Small, white haired. Has glasses that magnify her nutmeg eyes. Is 20 years old. Her hair turned white when she was touched by a Scroll Elf. She usually wears a half-apron with pockets, jeans, slipper-like shoes, and a billowy white peasant blouse. Her hair is a little past her shoulder and held in a twist bun by two combs
PERSONALITY: Quiet and shy. Insanely smart (she new Latin by the time she was three). This caused the Scroll Elf to touch her, giving her sharpened hearing and a thirst for knowledge. Her favorite task is to help someone learn something through a book.
HOME: The library of the current Resistance Base. When they move to a different location, she does as well.
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: The winding shelves of books
FRIEND OR MENTOR: None really. Books.
ENEMY OR RIVAL: Destroyers of books and knowledge.
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: Her small pocket-journal that she carries around everywhere. She wrights poems and small bits of info in it.
MOTTO OR FAVORITE SAYING: The pen is more powerful than the sword.
STRENGTHS: Smart. Very good hearing.
WEAKNESSES: Hates bright light, it hurts her eyes. Is shy and doesn't communicate very well. Doesn't like fighting or violence, so she doesn't stand up for herself very well.
BACKGROUND: Her father was a professor at a college in Cogsville. When she was little she was wandering in the forest when she saw a Scroll Elf and he gave her her gifts. She was the top of every class, and when her mother died she went to work in the Resistance Library. Sadly, the Head Librarian died, so she took his place.
