NAME: Dusk
SPECIES: Common Barn Owl
JOB/TITLE: Great Forest, South of Olde Windswood
APPEARANCE: White, heart shaped face, brown wings, white belly. 
PERSONALITY: Dusk is a slight introvert, only hunting at the darkest hours of night, and hiding away in her tree. However, she longs for a friend to keep her company, or to be part of something bigger, like many of the creatures she sees on her silent hunts. 
HOME: A large oak tree in the center of the Great Forest, where she has a cozy nest and a view of the surrounding land. This tree towers over many others, and although it's not the tallest tree in the forest, it suits her needs. Sometimes, however, it feels a little cramped, so she flies around the forest a bit.
MOST OFTEN SEEN AT: Night, the Great Forest or surrounding area, scouring the land for prey. During the day, safe asleep in her hollow.
FRIEND OR MENTOR: The oldest owl in the forest, a kindly old bird named Elka. She has taught many a young owlet valuable wisdom, and Dusk treasures her advice.
ENEMY OR RIVAL: Her cousin, Needle. He always teases her about how he has stronger wings, or more keen eyes. She longs to prove him wrong, but has always failed to do so.
FAVORITE POSSESSION OR OBJECT: A small, carved acorn that Elka gave her after her first flight. It has a pair of wings and a talon carved into it. Elka told her that it symbolised the strength of the owl, and the power of the wings. She never explained where she had gotten it from, however.

STRENGTHS: Silence. She boasts that once she crept up on a fox hunting and escaped just in time.
WEAKNESSES: Her sun-vision is one of her lacking features, as she's used to the night. 
BACKGROUND: Born in the heart of the Great Forest, Dusk knew little of the world outside the woods until her parents went on a hunt, and never came back. Left to fend on her own, she found Elka, who taught her the skills she needed to survive. She had always been a loner, but since the outrage with the whole B.I.G fiasco, Dusk has contemplated joining FAFA. She's on the brink of decision, and one act either way could push her off the edge.
