*A Travel Guide to Northwest Kyngdom That is Totally Not Top Secret and Has Nothing to Do with Anything Important

So you want to take a trip to Northwest Kyngdom? Wonderful! Pack your bags, grow an extra layer of fur, and hop onto the Badger Express, the high-speed badger-drawn train that will carry you northward.

Travel tip: The Badger Express has a wonderful dining car that serves a creamy, piping-hot soup called Pinesüppe: root vegetables simmered for hours with pine needles and topped off with a rich drizzle of sap.

Once you disembark, take a moment to notice how your breath turns into an intricately-patterned fog in the air. There is a magic to northwest Kyngdom that no one can explain--almost everything here, no matter how dangerous, is aesthetically pleasing. Gaze at the fields of soft, untouched snow, the evergreens glimmering with icicles so elaborate that you would have sworn they were carved by artists, and the aurora borealis that dance through the sky like omens of a better life. This is the home of Regina, the Silver Reindeer, who is…just your average reindeer!

Travel tip: Pack light but warm! Bring lots of high-protein snacks--we recommend grubs! Regina is the guardian of Hoof!

Though Regina looks so noble so as to be unapproachable, she is actually very friendly, and loves showing newcomers around her land. She lives in a mansion (nobody said reindeer weren’t materialistic!) that she named Jökull, the Old Norse word for ice. It is a place of good cheer, where the super-sweet juice of the local Winter Black Cherry flows year-round (delicious over ice or warmed up!). Zephyra loves to spend her holidays here.

Travel tip: Examine Regina closely when she walks. Three of her feet are shod in beautiful mother-of-pearl horseshoes that glimmer when she walks, but the fourth bears only a rusty horseshoe. Look closely at that horseshoe. I think you know what it is. Don’t you?

Regina will warn you about the forest of blue juniper trees that look so appealing and smell like Christmas on a platter. This is the Decoy Forest, and its pull is strong. When you walk through it--which you should never do--you will see what you want to see. Lost loves will cry out to you from the trees. Your mother, as a teenager, may appear, begging you to be her friend. Ignore them all. Have another mug of Winter Black Cherry cider. Enjoy your stay.

Travel tip: The pull of the Decoy Forest? B.I.G. feels it, too. When Cornelia Hornshaw stares into the Forest, she sees an image of the Fourth Power. But she still doesn’t know where it’s located. She’s heading there now, though. Will anybody stop her?

Banks of Kyngdom in Panic!

A member of the Resistance, Shadow, has recently been caught stealing and hacking over $100,000,000,000 from Kyngdom's banking system.

"I think this is one of the first of many to came. It starts with the Resistance "liberating" money from a secure banking system, depriving millions of their savings. What is next? Are they going to start murdering suspected traitors? I am firmly on Catastrophe's side, and I can guarentee that the majority of everybody's fears about the King are lies made up by the Resistance. Catastrophe simply wants to keep dangerous, rouge forces like the Powers and the Resistance in check, not kill innocents. Please, help kyngdom stay safe." Poe Allen, a information broker for the Banks of Kyngdom.

"I am here on behalf of the Resistance, and I can guarentee that the behavior you saw is in fact a new 90% tax on the higher governemnt of Catastrophe, and has been voted n by the Council of Kyngdom. We are operating on a Socialist system, and the more power you command, the more taxes you get. AT the council we get 100% taxes, so I can assure you that this is under cotroll." Elliot, a Resistance spokesperson said.

The Banks say that this will cause widespread calamety, incuding the destruction of good, hardworking people.

"We want to make sure everyone is happy. That is why we are urging the normal people who's money has been stolen to point this out to the Resistance, and contact your local police." Says an official statement released by the Banks.

The Banks want everyone who's money has been stolen to please help them in sueing theHI this is Elliot. I managed to edit the printing of this newspaper. ANd no, there is no 90% tax, but we only stole from people in Catastrophe's government. I have been investagaiting, and the Bnaks are corrupt. I would pull your money out of the banks before they take it. Thank you very much.

Here is some news: The rebuilding of SailHaven has commenced! SailHaven is ready to fly in a few days, rebult from the ruins. I think it would make a good resitance base.

I sit back in my seat and look at the completed arm. I can't believe that we're actually doing this. We are about to cut someone's arm off on purpose. The problem would be attaching the mechanical arm fast enough. If we left her without it for too long she would bleed out. I start tinkering on the medical clamps some more. If they worked correctly, they should seal the blood vessels with a medical resin and then clamp around the wrist, thus creating a perfect seal on the wound and preventing blood loss. I also had added some extras on the fingers. The pointer emitted a high power laser burst when activated, strong enough to cut through metal if given enough time. The thumb could act as a miniature grappling hook, shooting out and sticking magnetically onto whatever it touched.

Sprocket had added in an ingenious scanner that was placed in the palm. It could identify the location, species, and powers of anything in a one mile radius. The problem was, it only worked on species we had already met so Sprocket had added an extra function that allowed the user to add species as they went along.

hopefully this would be enough.

I hope I can be of some help in this situation...

While you guys try to work out the actual escape, I will sneak behind enemy lines and try to see where Alexandria is being held. I'll also try to stir up some uneasieness about the "Resistance is closing in thing"- I'm good at spreading rumors and causing quite a commotion. Plus, i am a Medic, so if anyone needs help i can be there in a flash. Iv'e also passed a letter (sucessfully!) to the captives, proving it is possible to get in the base. And as for now...consider me a member of the Resistance. It would help a lot if the whole of Catastrophe's army heard that a Resistance member somehow got into camp. Consider me one of your team members. I am going to help. Out.

This is going to be fun...trouble is the best thing that I can do, army or otherwise.

My head is throbbing from all the stuff that they are using to keep me under. And some chemical acids are leaking from the bomb and into my hand. It looks like black swirls within my skin. Fabulous.

Rigga told me that she sent a message to Shadow and her friends, but she wouldn't tell them where I was-

Suddenly I notice a little radio in the corner of my room, playing light classical music in the background. I look up at the camera, but I can tell it's turned off because of the red light that is dimmed. I slowly get up, and walk over to the radio, quickly starting to take it apart to scratch in a message. If Shadow still has that flip-phone...

Crow Dome area in the base. Crow Dome area in the base.

I scratch it repeatedly when I feel a presence behind me. I feel flushed, and when I turn around, I'm face to face with Rigga.

My heart skips a beat.

"Alexandria, dear, what are you doing?"

I shake my head and she unexpectedly stabs a needle in my neck.

Everything becomes smudged and inky, until darkness consumes my vision and I collapse limply to the floor.

I will rescue you from the Resistance, Alexandria?

(January 24, 2017 - 10:27 pm)

I found out two things about Crow Dome base: yes, they do have lasers, and no, getting into the base is not as fun as I previously thought.

Simple enough goal: Run in, create a huge scene while also giving a message to AA (Alexandria's special code name i've decided to call her), escape and possibly wound/hurt/destroy some of the guard forces around AA. I know the positions of the cameras, what I presume to be the lasers, guard shifts, entrances and exits, stairwells, and cells. I've decided on how to get in/out, what weapons or items to bring, and more specifically, what I have to do. The time is good, positions are excellent, and winds are favorable.

Eight more hours. Eight more hours untill the note arrives. Eight more hours to gather what I need.

I am ready.

Yeah, if you could rescue me from this stupid cell, that would be a start.

We've finally made it to Crow Dome base, and Trillian has already gotten rid of the security cameras. On our way in, Mina, Sprocket and I managed to take out most of the guards, making iut a pretty easy route to Alexandria. Thanks to the maps they keep of the base, it's pretty easy to figure out where her cell block is. You'd think someone as intelligent as Rigga would be careful to not label her maps, or at least do it in code in case outsiders managed to infultrate the base. Oh well. I guess she wasn't expecting us to get this far.

I soar through the halls, taking a moment to glimpse at the numbers next to each cell block. Alexandria's in #982.

987, 986, 985, 984, 983....

Then I see her number, right next to a door made of solid steel. I grin. Thanks to my superstrength, this should be simple.

I go up to the doo and try to pry it open, but it isn't working for some reason.

What?

Then I hear a voice coming from behind me

"It's infused with Brazen Goo, dear. Not even an angel can open that."

Is Trixie along to try to disarm the bomb?

(January 25, 2017 - 3:24 pm)

I was busy drilling the holes for the spike knuckles (hopefully I can post a picture of the completed arm on the Art Thread soon) when we hear Elliot's voice on the radio.

"The rebuilding of SailHaven has commenced! It should set sail in a few days. I think it will make a good base."

Everyone goes quiet as they look at me, Quill, and Trillian. I turn to Trillian and see that she is smiling so wide it looks like her face is going to split open.

Then we all spontaneously start screaming and jumping up and down. The others are looking at us weirdly, and I blush as I realize that tears are streaming down my face. SailHaven was going to take flight once more, with me as its passenger.

My CAPTCHA says mwha. Wow. Didn't know they could evil laugh.

I say we kill her and then revive her. That will remove the bomb!

Sorry to disappoint you, but NO.

As tempting as that sounds, we can't just blow her up.

Two, your revive crystal might work, but what about her SOUL?

Unless I find a way to keep her spirit safely with the revive, that option won't work.

I'm not saying bolwing her up!

I say we just kill like a stab in the head then turn her to dust, that way when we do revive her it'll be like she never had the bomb.

plus we can store her SOUL in this

*Holds up glass jar*

you think I don't plan things though?

Im not saying it's a bad idea, it's just....

Nevermind. Forget the whole SOUL thing. Forget the revive. Let's just not use it, OK?

*MoonR is refusing to say more*

*AlexR is curious as to why MoonR will not say more*

*Sigh*

It's just...

'Another sigh*

Y'know, if there was always revives in KYNGDOM, how come everyone doesn't have one?

Or at least someone could have used them previously, right?

Well...

I found one. And I used it.

And...

When you use those revives,  it's not just like you use it, the person comes back to life, etc. Magic doesn't work that way.

When you use a revive, someone takes their place.

Not that they die instead, just that they dissolve into nothing more than dust and leftover magic. And their SOUL.

Then, well...

Both SOULS merge together.

And it's not like this is a bad idea and all, but...

I don't feel right to just have someone's SOUL be forever altered because of one problem. And Alexandria shouldn't have to bear with another person if she doesn't want to.

Revives also have aftereffects too...

And I don't feel right to  just stab her and let her deal with the side effects all on her own. And some after effects last. Forever.

If you're wondering what happened when I used that revive, well.....

Why do you think im half dragon?
