A few weeks earlier... 

Ren:

I barrel through the main cave, dodging the forms of animal spies going about their work. Some confused glances are shot in my direction, but the confusion shifts into alarm as two more animals gallop in after me.

"'Scuse me!" I bark, and animals step aside to let the coyote--that is, me--and her companions--a fox and hare--across the room.

"Where's Silverpaw or Zephyra or both of them?" I demand, stopping to question the nearest agent.

"They're both in the sssouth quadrant, in the meeting roomssss. What'ssss wrong?" the agent hisses.

"Keep this on the down-low for now, Ssassandra, but B.I.G. is back," I whisper.

Ssassandra is silent, but in her snake eyes I can see surprise. "Thank you," I say as I quickly bound away.

My companions and I race down the side cave, turning along different corridors until we enter the meeting rooms. I burst into the largest one panting heavily, just in time to see Zephyra in her leather jacket and Silverpaw in all his white-spotted beauty, hunched over a table. They turn to me mid-sentence.

I cough, flushed.

"Ren, what is it?" Silverpaw demands, his tail flicking.

"Oh--right. Hey um sorry to interrupt, but the field reports JUST came in. And there's been really important news about B.I.G. It's--it's back." 

The next day... 

Files were coming in left and right. Agents were clamoring to get the full story, which I sadly could not provide. And then, just when it seemed like things couldn't get any more exciting, something came in that shook the whole HQ.

"Come see Mer's Annual Flea Market!"

The flyer had been posted near the Bog & Burrow Inn very recently. An agent came thundering into HQ, shouting and waving its contents in frenzied excitement.

"Anything you could ever want to buy!"

It seemed innocent enough at first. Until...

"Dragon scales! Unicorn horns!"

"And don't miss the POWER OF HOOF, yes, the POWER OF HOOF, going up for sale!"

Ren

SPECIES:
Canis latrans (coyote)

JOB/TITLE:
FaFA agent—usually doing inside jobs around headquarters, such as
carrying messages.

APPEARANCE:
Tan with thick fur, just like a normal coyote. She’s got a subtle
dappling of brown and white spots on her back and paws, too.

PERSONALITY:
Extroverted; sometimes hyper; optimistic; loves her job. Ren can
sometimes be scatterbrained; that is, she gets excited to do
something and gets a little distracted trying to do lots of things at
once. She enjoys physical activities rather than mental ones, and
likes to have a good time. She’s got a crush on Silverpaw if that
gives you any more clarification as to her personality. She’s
very friendly and open to talk to. I

She’s a swift runner, a
fast talker, excellent at sneaking and skirting around places, good
at disguises/playing a part, extroverted and a good, fun friend.

She likes to run her mouth,
is sometimes easily distracted, is not really a good fighter, can
sometimes be irresponsible (however, she is a good agent.)

BACKGROUND:
Ren grew up in the forests
of central Kyngdom. Her parents were members of FaFA, and she decided
to join as well. She’s usually inside
FaFA HQ working as
a messenger and will
sometimes go on missions. Pretty average, eh? ;P

BIG's back?! They're selling the Power of Hoof?!? We have to do something about this!

Are there agents already at that flea market?

Yes?

Oh, okay. We need to get it out of the open! Someone should steal the Power of Hoof!! (And by someone...I mean us.)

A small, brown, and very feathery figure lands with a small puff of dust in front of an oaken door. Leaning back on its haunches, the little animal - no - creature scratches once on the door, easily leaving divots in the hardest wood imaginable. The door opens. Suddenly, the little creature launches itself at the opener of the door. Caught by surprise, the victim falls backwards, only to be trampled by a rather small but incredibly fast attacker. Chirruping happily, the minuscule menace grabs the Resistance badge on its prey's fur in its sharp teeth and hangs on. Then, taken by the scruff, the little creature dangles in front of a big bear's face. The bear grunts.

"What's your business?" The creature chirrups again. Meanwhile, the victim of the assault, yet another bear, stands up with a snarl and an 'And I had just washed, too...'. The first bear glances at his friend. In that split second, the creature's feathered wings fly up, smacking the wrist of the creature's second victim in about forty-five seconds. The little thing was on a roll. The creature, having stunned it's captor, drops to the ground and promptly scrawls 'Join' in the dirt floor.

"Ah, I see. What's your name, kid?" The bears lean down. In the dirt, the word 'Swift' appears. Still wiping dust from his fur, Swift's first victim says something along the lines of 'Makes sense, the little blur.'. Swift looks up at the dirty bear, the look of pleasure plain on the little thing's muzzle.

I rummage through my chest of belongings and gather up my most useful gear. The next full moon is coming soon, and I want to be ready for my first meeting with The Red Paw...

Nesbit, I am requesting permission to meet with the Red Paw alongside you. I feel like this could be a good opportunity for me to prove myself to FaFA. Besides, I'm good with talking with people and allies from back when I used be a spy for hire and an assassin.
