Letter from Finny!

Hello, friends—long time no see. We're still at the beach, but we've pinpointed our location in Southeast Kyngdom. It's really a beautiful and bountiful region, perfect for a big dance *wink wink*. Anyway, I was taking a walk along the coast this morning, and I saw a washed-up bottle that seemed interesting.  

It turns out this bottle contained a note from a dolphin named Finny. It was dated roughly two weeks ago, so it must've been floating out in the ocean for some time. Here's the text:

"Hello, everyone! I sort of can't believe that you found my message in a bottle...it's a terrible method of communicating, but I don't know how else to reach landlubbers like you. Also, I'm a bottlenose dolphin, so it's kind of appropriate, hehe. 

How are you? If you're happy, high five! If you're sad, double high five! I can do a triple high five using my tail fin, but most of you only have two hands, so we'll skip that one.

Anyway, I hope to see all of you at the ball later this month (July 22). I'm in the running for the Guardianship of the Power of Fin—along with all the other dolphins, seels, and crabs who trained alongside me—and I'd love to look out at all your pretty faces if I end up getting the position! I've worked super-hard for it, which probably means I won't get it out of pure irony, but I'm crossing my fins anyway :)

I hope your lives are going swimmingly, and I hope to see you soon.
