If you're just joining us, start at the first labyrinth post. You can find all the labyrinth posts at the Power of Claw page.
"D-A-R-K-N-E-S-S" opened the latest combination lock, and that solution was prophetic—the gate lead to the darkest tunnel yet. I managed to snap a couple pictures using a flashlight, and they don't even do justice to how eerie this particular section of the labyrinth feels.
The latest gate appears to be hovering inches off the ground, but little Thimble tried to scurry past, and the strange electric force is still in effect. Looks like we'll have to deal with another combination lock, a short one this time.
It took me about fifteen minutes to find the code. It's very tiny, scratched just to the left of the gate near the floor:
Can anyone help?
Also, Little Crow and Who still haven't returned. It's a long way back to the surface, and a longer way to food and water, so I'm trying not to worry. But they are fast fliers. If anyone hears wings beating, please wake me up immediately. I'd say it doesn't matter if it's the middle of the night, but I've lost track of day and night down here.
Finally, here's the latest update from the old badger. He snatched the bark out of my hand and crossed out another letter, this time a D:
-J-M-E-M-I-A-K-Z-G-E-F-H-P-Q-X-S-B-Y-W-R-C-T-O-N-U-V-D-L-
He hasn't been mumbling as much today. It's probably because he's thirsty for his weird green-stone tea.
How's everyone else doing down here? Anyone know a joke or game or song that might keep our spirits up?

Maybe it is paw.

All I got was
There was once a simple
I'm so sorry I didn't decode the rest it's just I'm so impatient, and, well... I have places to be in a bit so...

My bats sent a messenger, I do not know about Lityle Crow, but my bats are safe.

Also, thanks to Dude for figuring out the last combination lock!

I don't like it down here...it's so dark...
I just got some food from B&B inn to keep us nourish-aww snap! I left it at the entrance! I'll go get it....
A few moments later you hear something echoing in the tunnels.

There was once a simple way
When tordu were straight and spoken true
...tordu? What does this mean? I sigh. Someone else can do the other two lines, right? I sigh and lean against the wall in the dark room. Time for a quick...yawn...nap....this decoding stuff is hard....

The message is
There once was a simple way
When words were straight and spoken true
But secret twists and coded meanings
Betray the _ who may be you.
It's spy, it has to be.

Go-
Huh? I thought I heard something. It sounded like a scream....
Meh, anyways....Go for it Charlie!
(May 25, 2016 - 4:33 pm)
I'm not really here in the tunnels right now, but it might be one.
(May 25, 2016 - 4:34 pm)
Eliyana, I believe you are right. Listen Charlie, if you don't put one in as the combination, I'm not going to be very happy.
(May 25, 2016 - 6:33 pm)
I agree.
P.S. Sorry that I'm not helping more, I have an excuse but it's pretty pathetic, so I'm not sure if you want to hear it.

Maybe it's just me, but this tunnel seems to get creepier and creepier the farther we go.
(May 25, 2016 - 5:02 pm)
Hm, good thought. Spy or one is a good guess for combination lock entries. *Grooms what's left of fur* That shock singed my fur off! Yowch!
(May 25, 2016 - 7:11 pm)
Or lie! That wouldn't make much sense, but hey! Somebody could be a lie. If they made up a secret identity.
(May 25, 2016 - 7:14 pm)
Charlie, is there an s on the first wheel of the lock? If yes, the code is spy. If no, then it is one.
Try that! :D
Btw, I agree peeps, this is getting VERY creepy. And what's with the badger message?!
