Chatterbox: Inkwell

I wrote a poem a long time ago, and I would like to share it with you.  I have three different virsions of my poem "BOOKS."

 Original:

The pages of a book,

they took me to a different place,

a book with dragons, a book with dwarfs,

or even a book with a bunch of chores,

any book will take me places,

all kind of books have different faces,

some are scary, some are sad,

some sometimes make you mad,

some are happy, some are cool,

some have somebody jumping in a pool.

Revised version:

The pages of a book,

they took me to a different place,

like a book with dragons, a book with dwarfs,

or even a book with a bunch of chores,

any book will take me places,

all kinds of books have different faces,

some are scary, some are sad,

some sometimes make you mad,

some are happy, some are cool,

some have somebody jumping in the pool,

I love books, yes I do,

how about you?

some books have really nice trees,

some books have giant bees,

I don't know about you, but that's true,

in to the mist,

I'll give you a list,

there's a giant bee in nighttime is really just daytime with your eyes closed,

it's about people who dozed,

there's a giant bee in,

Slappy Hooper,

no, his middle name is not Cooper.

Shortened version:
