Written? Kitten!

Written? Kitten!

I've been using this for NaNo a lot recently. I find it's more helpful than Write or Die since you get rewarded instead of not-punished and I like that. :) I discovered a few days ago on the NaNo forums and since then, I've been pretty happy. I'm behind by a few thousand though on my word count so ciao! (and does anyone else use W?K! or Write or Die?)

W?K! is my new best friend. For the record, if you type, say, "?search=wombat" in without the quotes after the URL, it'll give you wombats instead, and the same works with any other animal or object or person that you could possibly imagine. Sometimes I really love the internet.

WoD works as well, though I've been eschewing it for the really petty reason that when I c&p from it into my document it messes up my formatting.

It gives you no wombats...

It gives you a picture of some guy in a BAND called the Wombats.

:'( I like wombats.

Garthwumpian Flopp says ekhw. That sounded like a sneeze :)

Omg, thank you, ZNZ! I will now feed myself on steampunk and lomo photos!

Oh, and in Canada, Thanksgiving is in October...

I know NaNoWriMo is a kind of writing website/contest/thingy, and it only happens in November, but I would like to get involved in it. It sounds really interesting.
But what is all this with kittens and stuff?!
Garthwumpian Flopp says mfdg.
Quintus!

The kittens have to do with the Warriors book series about cats in the wild.

@Quintus: Written Kitten is an online text processer where, if you type in a certain number of words, a PICTURE OF AN CUTE AND CUDDLY KITTEN POPS UP!

I'm thinking of doing NaNo next November, so maybe I'll try this. Doesn't it sound like something SusyQ would absolutely love? ^.^

It sounds... weird. But cute.

It sounds unbearably saccharine, but that might be because I just got back from rehearsal and want to kill things right now because I burned my hand on the spotlight and blaaaaaargh.

But I do like the no-holds-barred do or die sensibility writeordie offers. It appeals to my sense of urgency, I think. I don't like kittens enough to write a hundred words just to see a picture when it's so much easier to just google the silly things myself.

Anyway, so yes, writeordie is the app for me. Or would be if I was having writer's block problems at the mo', which I'm not, because I'm absurdly busy (five hours of class a day + five hours of rehearsal a day = not much free time) and that naturally means that writer instincts are kicking me in the teeth write now, clamoring to be met. YAY COLLEGE.

What's the play, TNO?

Oh. Company.

I think I saw that once a long time ago in NYC.

"unbearably saccharine"

Hey, guys, look at TNÖ being TNÖ!

...I'm honestly not sure whether I was just complimented or insulted, but okay.

I think complimented. We appreciate each person for her/his own unique characteristics!

It's not necessarily a positive quality or a negative one; I was just amused at how typical of you that was. I do appreciate you for your own unique characteristics, if it helps.
