I open my eyes to find myself being stared at by two girls who look to be my about my age, two unfamiliar dragons, and Sunflame.
"Aah!" I yelp in surprise. Everyone jumps back a little. I stand up slowly, still a little wobbly. I look at the two girls, and realize that I've seen the girl with bright red hair before. "You were there..." I say quietly, pointing at her. "You were helping me..." She nods.
"Yeah, we helped save you from Rilleyo." she said casually, as if she saved people from evil/blackmarket dragon catchers every day. "I'm Draco, this is Elyana." she gestures toward the other girl. "This is Xell," she points to a dragon sitting next to Sunflame. "...And Ferr." she points to the 3rd dragon, who's sitting on the other side of Sunflame.
"Okay....." I half sit down/ half collapse from dizziness, and Sunflame comes over to help me back up. I smile gratefully at her.
"Maybe we should tell you the whole story." Elyana says. She and Draco begin to tell me all that happened while I was asleep.
"Endey, wait!!" I call. "You can't kill dragons... not all of them anyway... some of them are good!!!"
But he has already left. I sit down on a rock. He's just a dragon slayer.... I think just a stupid dragon slayer.... he fooled you, he fooled you, he fooled you, get over it..... but my mind refuses to obey.
"He's just a stupid dragon slayer," I say, hoping that saying that to Elyana, Xell, Sunflame, and Ferr would make me believe it too.
Elyana nods. "I thought he was nice, mabye a dragon catcher."
Well, at least she thought so too. Then we were interruptedd in our thoughts by something else. Kerra was stirring.

At this post, about three days has passed since Endey met Anex.
Endeyrory Pracea
A blood-red leaf drifted to the ground. I picked it up. It was pretty. Blood. That's all I had been able to think about since I had gotten the tip. Aleakim had told me. We've worked together on some hard kill before. She's one of the few females in the dragon slayer business, and really, the best one of them I've met. One of them, Saidra, was very touchy. Very. Say anything that suggests she's not as good because she's a girl, she'll have a sword at your throat. And the truth is? Saidra really isn't that good. Aleakim, on the other hand, is really good. But don't criticize her. She doesn't like that.
She'd heard that I was in Tavesten, and had sent a messenger. Just a hired boy, really. He gave the message to me.
Endeyrory Pracea:
I think I've found your dragon.
If I'm right, it's a female, and she's living somewhere in the middle of the mountains, in a very near proximity to Mt. Marren. I've talked to Dom a little bit, and he says that that dragon might be the reason none of knights looking for the Lost Treasure of the Drevosts ever come back. I'm not certain, Endey, but I think I've found her. I'm assuming you're going to need help, so if you're going, I'm coming with. Anextiomarus the Dragon Lover is around. You've probably seen him. Well, he's informed me that he'll stop whatever I'm doing, so I'll handle him, and you can kill your dragon. If it is your dragon. Don't get your hopes up. Or depressed. Or whatever. One more kill own't hurt.
Aleakim
Blood, I thought, turning the leaf over. Dragon blood. It didn't matter if Rilleyo ruined my reputation. That dragon just had to be dead. And if we brought back the Lost Treasure of the Drevosts, more's the better.
* * * * * *
We rode our horses almost as fast as we could north. Toward the mountains.
.
.
I was too stupid not to notice the beating of wings behind me.
-----------------
I feel like we should eventually edit this and maybe think about publishing it. Also, this post is kind of in the future, I think, because I just left you guys in the middle of a clearing. So, maybe go to Tavesten and pick up Anex and then chase after us? Maybe?

Gah!! Where are all you dragon lovers and lone other dragon slayer!! Kerra, Elyana, Adela, Anex, Aleakim, where are you people? Did a dragon eat you? Hah! That's where all dragon lovers end up.

@SC/Endey: I'm not sure if we could get it published, since it's already on the internet for free, but it would be really cool if we could! I was thinking of editing it and saving it on my puter just so I could read it again. :)
@Anex/Aleakim: Please post something! It's okay if it's short.
Sorry this is so unneccesarily long with no plot development, everyone!
Elyana--
"...and that's about all that happened," I concluded, just a bit out of breath from explaining everything to Kerra. She was silent for a moment, then said,
"Shame I missed it."
I gaped.
"Shame!?" I exclaimed. "It was awful! We nearly died!"
"But you didn't," pointed out Kerra, seeming irritated. "That's the point. It was just an awesome, exciting adventure that I totally missed out on."
"If you weren't knocked out, it wouldn't have happened at all," reasoned Draco.
"Speaking of which, I've yet to hear even a 'thank you' for saving your life!" I fumed, getting angrier by the minute. "We risked everything to save a girl whose name we didn't even know, and you don't even say thank you?" Kerra was shocked.
"Well, um..." she trailed off, looking uncomfortable. "Thanks. And, um, sorry." Immediately, I felt ashamed.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean that!" I said. "I just... lost my temper."
"Come on people, we won't get anything done just bickering like this," said Draco impatiently. "We've got to do something about Endey."
Endey. The stupid dragon slayer who came along and pretended to be our friend. That's what I tried to tell myself, but it just wouldn't work. Even with the reminder etched painfully into Xell's leg.
"Right, we should head toTavesten and..." I trailed off, watching all three dragons as they pricked up their ears and swiveled their heads around. "What is it?" I asked. They replied, and Draco translated.
"There's someone with a dragon over that way," she said. My hand went to Rilleyo's sword that I was wearing at my waist, though I was sure it would be next to no help in my hands. "Don't worry, they won't hurt us," she said, and I let go of the sword. Still, I edged a little closer to Xell, just in case. All of a sudden, there was a yelp from somewhere to my left.
"Stop! No wait, come back! You're going to light the forest on fire!" It sounded like a girl, maybe a little younger than me, and she seemed to be having some difficulty. "I can't run that fast! Come back! Please! Wait!"
"I think we should-" started Kerra, but just as she spoke, a ball of fire burst through the trees. We all dropped to the ground just in time. Smoke sizzled off of tree branches, the acrid smell assualting my nose.
"What the heck was that!?" I cried.
"Dragon-fire!" shouted Draco, "and the dragon can't be far behind!" As if on cue, another fireball shot through the trees, followed by a small silver dragon whizzing behind. I could tell she was female. She was about to fly straight over us, but did a double-take and stopped in midair, looking down at us curiously. Her wings were flapping at high speed like a hummingbird's. I had never seen anything like it.
"A quicksilver dragon," breathed Kerra in awe.
"What's a quicksilver dragon?" I asked.
"It's a really rare type of dragon. They can't hold more than two people at adult size, but they beat their wings extremely fast so they can hover in the air. I've only seen one once, at a distance."
"Wow," I said, looking up at the little dragon over my head with new respect. She looked back at me and burped a fireball. I ducked.
"Will you get back here, Xandela!?" came a voice. I looked over to see a girl of about 15 crashing through the trees, panting hard. The silver dragon stuck out her tongue at the girl, and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Is she your dragon?" I asked, and the girl nodded.
"Yes, I hatched her from the egg not too long ago. Her name's Xandela. Mine's Adela," she added, seemingly as an afterthought. "Xandela just won't listen to me, no matter how hard I try."
"You just haven't got the hang of it yet," I said. "My dragon never listened to me when I was little." Xell looked over from where he, Ferr, and Sunflame were chatting with Xandela, and puffed a little smoke at me. I smiled.
"Ugh, all you people are so boring," moaned Draco. "I'm going to introduce myself to Xandela over there." With that, she promptly left the company of the humans and went over to join the dragons.
"Touchy," said Kerra with annoyance.
"Anyway," I said to Adela, trying to ignore Kerra and Draco. "My name is Elyana, and this is Xell. That's Kerra and her dragon Sunflame, and that's Draco and Ferr." I gestured to each person (or dragon) as I said their name.
"Cool! So, where are you guys going?" she asked.
"Well, uh... we were thinking of maybe Tavesten, but..." I hesitated, afraid she might want to follow us. It was a pretty safe town, with lots of wealthy people, but we were going to be there on dangerous business. We needed to find Endey and track him down.
"Oh, Tavesten," she said, seeming disappointed. "Well then, I guess I'll just be going. Come on, Xandela." Xandela squeaked out something in Draconian, and to my surprise, Adela answered in the same language.
"You can speak Draconian too?" I exclaimed.
"Yeah, I've been able to since... well, forever, I guess." I sighed. It seemed like everyone knew Draconian these days except me and Kerra.
"Maybe I could help you out with your dragon, Adela," I offered.
"Really? That would be great!" she cried, beaming. "But if you're going to Tavesten..." She trailed off, looking crestfallen.
"Oh no, I meant just for a little bit," I clarified, and she brightened. "What's so bad about Tavesten, anyway? It's a wealthy town."
"Exactly," she said darkly. I decided not to press her on the subject.
"Okay, so the first part of dragon training is getting the dragon to respect you. Without respect, they'll never listen to anything you say. Now, here's what you do..."

Here's a post...sorry it's short. [Oh and I've realized iInever posted which weapons my character uses, I've decided to make her a knife thrower. She has 2 daggers that she keeps in sheaths on each side of her belt, and a sword (probably something like a rapier; long and thin) that she keeps in a sheath on her back. Also a small dagger that is kept in an ankle sheath in her boot.] :)
Aleakim--
I drew one of my daggers from its sheath and moved toward the cave. A tiny movement in the gloom assured me that a dragon was inside, and I approached the cavern cautiously, knowing that the creature inside would be listening for intruders. Just then I heard a horrible screech, coming from inside the cave, and I involuntarily took a step back. I hid behind a boulder as two dragons left the cave, a male and a female. They weren't quite full grown yet. A third dragon, this one an adult female, exited the cavern. I realized that the younger 2 were the older one's children, leaving their mother for the first time. Not if I could help it. I ran toward the cave, unsheathed my sword with my non-dagger wielding hand, and struck.
The end. (cue the suspensfull music now) ;)

To-op! The fact that Draco and Elyana are in a character lounge as well as this RP does not mean that the story should stop going.
Kerra decides that it's finally time to get things into order. "Okay everyone, and that means you dragons too! Tonight, we're just going to chill, rest, whatever you want to call it. That means lessons in dragon riding and Draconian, drawing Rilleyo being chased by a wild tiger (yes, that is what Draco was doing a few minutes ago), talking about the best way to trample a knight, whatever. Tomorrow, Elyana, Draco, and I will go to Tavensten to get news of Endey, while Adela, who for some reason doesn't want to go, will stay here until we come back, with some of the dragons, as we can't take four dragons to Tavensten. Everything okay with you?"
"Long speech," Ferr says quietly and Xell laughs. Sunflame looks at them reaprochfully.
"It's okay with me," Elyana says.
"And me," adds Adela, looking relieved.
Everyone looks at me. I clear my throat and say, "All okay, except for that last part. I stay with Adela."
Adela looks a bit hurt. "I can take care of myself, you know!"
"It's not that you can't. Tavensten is too close to Flintwall. And with the Tavensten Fair going on, I'll have an even bigger chance of meeting someone I know."
"What do you mean?" Adela looks puzzled.
"I'm from Flintwall. I ran away."

They're rich and stuffy (possibly like Draco) and she would rather be with dragons (DEFINITELY like Draco). That's all the Adela-Draco comparisons for today, folks, hope you enjoyed it!
