Imagine that you are illegal because you have two older siblings. That basically means no third children allowed in the world you live on. (or just on plain earth!)

I don't know. I don't really like the idea of making whole new threads.  Because what if we only post once?  It's a waste of threads.  But, then again, that would encourage me to post more.

I like your themes.

I wasn't happy. We had lived in a small house in the country ever since I was born, with our closest neighbors half a mile away. (My father grumbled about the commute but he knew it was neccesary.) I liked it there, with the duck pond, and the trees all around. But now everything was about to change.

My older brother Joseph was lucky we lived in America. He was a second, and seconds were still legal--here. In other countries you could only have one. It didn't make much of a difference to me, though. I was an outlaw (or at least an outcast) anywhere. My mother had homeschooled me secretly. The other two had attended the local elementary in our little town of Whitborough. I had been to town a few times--as Eleanor and Joseph's cousin.

But as I said, things were about to change. The neighboring suburb of Edenpool had outgrown its population limits -according to the strict new population laws any town under 100 years old couldn't have more than 7,000 residents- and a large number of inhabitants were being "relocated". Here.
