AP2 Leaf/Emily Since no one's making threads for this, or naming a start date, I thought, why not make a thread to discuss the story, at least, and I guess start it later? Did you have any ideas on what it was going to be about?

Sounds good to me! I guess we're supposed to choose either fantasy or science fiction. I don't really have a preference, but maybe we could combine them if we don't want to choose. :) We will have to come up with characters, but we'll have to decide our genre first and our setting. Sorry that I'm sending this to the bottom. I'll try to bring it up as soon as I post this. :)

Funny, I was just thinking a couple days ago that we should combine sci-fi and fantasy in some way. It seems like an interesting thing to do.
Should our story take place on earth, or another planet? Or... oh! I've been thinking about doing a story about a planet that you walk around on the inside of. Like a hollow ball, and you're on the inside, and the sun is in the middle, and it just turns around like a spotlight. Maybe that would be an interesting idea to play around with. Just throwing an idea out there.

I heard that too. It was in a Muse, I beleive. But any old person can tell it's not true, because otherwise how would the sun rise and set?

I really like that idea about the planet! It would be very interesting and unusual and also very original. I'd go for that if you want. Now for characters, should they be like humans and be the same, just live on a different planet, or should they be completely different creatures? Since it's fantasy, we could do the latter, but then it's harder to relate to those kinds of characters. It depends on how we want to work it. And what conflict do you think we should have? Well, I think I'm getting ahead of myself here, so maybe we should agree on a place and characters so we can get a plot in our head. (Sorry I haven't been on the CB so much. School's in session and my life is starting up again. Anyway, I'll try to get on here and reply a little quicker this time. :))

That's fine, I'm slow too anymore. Characters... hmm... I normally do stories with girl main characters, but boys are ok too. Actually it would be interesting to do a boy for a change. What do you think?

Boy sound good to me! Now, what should his background be? Lower class, upper class? None of the above? We'll have to get the whole planet worked out before we totally settle his background, but as of now we probably should get a general idea. :) Maybe he lives in a forest with mythical creatures, or in a city where he is surrounded by human (or alien) excitements. What's your perspective?

Hmmm... Well, if there were aliens, I'm not sure where they would come from, considering this world is kind of... introverted. Unless there is in fact something on the outside... What if there are aliens that come from the outside?
Another question: how advanced in technology is this world?
