Poem I wrote. Please critique and otherwise verbally abuse :D
I remember his eyes
When he told me he loved me
I remember his eyes
When he kissed me so boldly
The look on his face
Frozen in my head
That moment he told me
What he shouldn''t have said
I remember his eyes
When he begged and pleaded
And how I almost forgave him
His face is so vivid
I can still taste the air
The night that he spoke
The name of the girl
Who was in on his joke
I struggle to recall
His words of goodbye
But all I can see
Are his sad, lying eyes
This is still very much a work in progress. Please be gentle, I know it's not well, any good yet :D
I think it's very good, Koffee! I can really feel the emotion.
