back to the Inkwell

Here's one I wrote-it's a series of haikus that go together, if you will. Smile

Blue Sky Haikus

Girl plays in the sky

Soars alongside the eagles

Touching the soft clouds

 

Fields and grass below

Imagination lifts her

Wings of fantasy

 

"Come run along, child."

The heavens will have to wait

'Cause it's time for lunch

Admin? um, I posted a little poem a couple days ago and it isn't showing up. Are we not supposed to post poems or something? That's ok if we aren't, just wondering :)

Poems are fine to post as long as they are your original work and the subject is suitable. Has it shown up by now?

Would it be OK if we posted something by a famous poet BUT made sure to say it was by that person and not you?

Is it bad that my first reaction to reading the phrase "Powers That Be" was "Ooh, just like in YW!"?
