I'm not here THAT often, so I'll just give advice. "The Chatterbox Chronicle" sounds cool, but "Chirps In and Out" sounds cool too...:) Chronicle is better.

Amount of time spent here daily: depends. Can be a whole lot, if I'm needed.
Column: Bits and Bobs; a sort of conglomeration of funny poetry and jokes and tidbits of who knows what.
Ideas for the name: I like Ink Drops and the Cricket Courier. It doesn't really matter, though.
Good idea - a community newspaper. I like. Could be a bit of a pain to put together, though. How do you want to handle that?

Name: Ima? Or do I put my actual name, and in that case, should I say the one on my birth certificate (Katherine) or the one people actually ever use (Katie)? Oh, well. That's all of them..

@Ima: You get points for using the word fortnight. :D I figure the way we'll do it, is everyone works on their column on their own, and then we'll have a certain day when everyone has to post their columns. I suppose that if we wanted someone could copy and paste and make a post with the whole paper on together on DtE maybe? Did that make sense?

Admins, here's an idea, but I don't know if it's feasable. There's a set period (a week, a few days) during which the authors post their columns. The Admins hold onto those, and at the end of the period make them into one post for us. Would that work? Given the Chatterbox's setup, it seems like the only way to get one post with everything without a lot of excess threads and confusing posts. Dunno if it would work, but thanks anywho!

Lavendershy, we've discussed this and think you Chatterboxers should organize this on your own. One or more of you should just start a thread with news for the week (or month or
whatever) and post to that. Or possibly someone starts a thread with a
newspaper, describing in general the town (like the news from Lake
Wobegon), and people can post to whatever newspapers appeal to them.

I have every weekday from 8 am to 4 pm free, so I think I'm one of the few people who could actually write daily. My only problem is inspiration. I need help with my idea, you know, get my writer's blood pumping, and I'll be fine.
I agree with some people- I think the chronicle part sounds good. Ah, let's see... If you'll let me, I think the name Pen to Paper would be good, but you choose what you like. Out of your ideas that you supplied, I like Ink Drops the best. It sounds free and not biased of anything. Just let your writing fly, peeps!
So I'm either RaeRae or Rae or Rachel, which ever you prefer. I go here for about an hour a day or less, but I'm free all day so I'm not so limited... I'd like to manage an advice column, if that's all right. I've always wanted to hand out advice, but I've never really gotten the chance. Again, my idea for the newspaper name is Pen to Paper.
I think with a couple more volunteers, or however many we have now, we can really get this newspaper started!
